Associated production of charged higgs boson and heavy top quark in the left-right twin higgs model at high energye-e+ collider

Jubilee Conference of the Balkan-Physical-Union (BPU)’da bildiri olarak sunulmuştur.The left-right twin Higgs (LRTH) model is a concrete realization of the twin Higgs mechanism, which predicts the existence of a new heavy top quark (T) and charged Higgs boson (phi(+/-)). Detecting of these new particles in the LRTH model depends on free parameters (f, (f) over cap, M) which are constrained by the electroweak precision measurments. We study the associated production of a charged Higgs boson (phi(+)) and a heavy top quark (T) via e(-)e(+) -> phi(+)(T) over barb in the framework the LRTH model at root s=3000 GeV and yearly integrated luminosity of L=500 fb(-1). Synchronization of delayed fluctuating complex networks
In this communication we present some of our recent results on the synchronization properties of directed delay-coupled networks of a small-world type, whose topology changes with time. Our simulations of a network of non-linear elements show that a random change of topology enhances the stability of a synchronized state, depending on the interplay between different time-scales in the dynamics. The results are analytically explained in the linear limit, where the dynamics is expressed in terms of an effective connectivity matrix. In the limit of fast network fluctuations, this effective connectivity is given by the arithmetic mean of the temporal adjacency matrices. When the coupling topology changes slowly, the effective adjacency matrix is given by the geometric mean. The transition between both regimes is numerically studied for linear network elements
Determination of manganese content in some commercial manganese ores in Turkey k0-NAA standardization method using 241Am-Be isotopic neutron

Jubilee Conference of the Balkan-Physical-Union (BPU) Kongresi‘nde bildiri olarak sunulmuştur.In this study, the k(0)-NAA standardization method was applied to determine manganese concentrations in commercial manganese ores that collected different mining sites in Turkey. The samples were grinded, sieved and filled into Teflon tubes with a thickness of 1mm and then irradiated in one irradiation cell of the 37GBq M-241-Be isotopic neutron source. The activities of the irradiated manganese-ore samples were produced via Mn-55(n,gamma) Mn-56 reaction and were measured by using a n-type coaxial HPGe detector with 78.5% relative efficiency. The peak area analysis of the 846.8 keV (98.85%) and 1810.7 keV (26.9%) gamma-ray lines of 56 Mn product radionuclide were performed. Experimental data of the Au-197(n,gamma) Au-198 standard monitor reaction, the neutron flux parameters in the irradiation cell and related nuclear data were used together to determine manganese concentrations in the samples. The manganese contents in five different mining sites were found to be 2.63 +/- 0.23(%) for MH (Malatya Hekimhan), 13.78 +/- 0.98(%) for EA (Elazig-Akboga), 21.53 +/- 1.52(%) for AK (Ankara Kalecik), 34.09 +/- 2.38(%) for AB (Adiyaman Besni), 41.36 +/- 2.89(%) for AG (Adiyaman Golbasi). Investigation of Chargino Pairs in Stau-Neutralino Annihilation Scenario at the Future Colliders
One of the theories which attracted much attention for the new physics is the Supersymmetry. It explains the strong and the electroweak interactions from the grand unification scale down to the weak-scale. The last missing piece in the Standard Model, the Higgs boson, is discovered at the LHC, but there is no clue for any of the supersymmetric particles so far. The number of free parameters and the region for the supersymmetry is quite large, and it is highly probable that LHC could not get any hint of these sparticles. In this study, the chargino pair production via electron-positron and photon-photon collisions are studied in the context of the Stau-Neutralino annihilation scenario. This scenario is proposed after the negative results presented by the LHC. The calculation is carried out for all the possible one loop diagrams. The production cross section as a function of the collision energy is presented. The partonic cross section reaches up to 1.2 pb at the tree level, and the NLO correction reduces the cross section up to 19%. Clebsch-Gordan coefficients for covariant representations of the Lie superalgebra gl(n|n) in odd Gelfand-Zetlin basis
Clebsch-Gordan coefficients corresponding to the tensor product of the natural representation V([1, 0, ...,0]) of gl(n vertical bar n) with highest weight (1,0, ...,0) with any covariant tensor representation of gl(n vertical bar n) in the so called odd Gelfand-Zetlin basis are computed. The result is a step for the explicit construction of the parastatistics Fock space
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
