La comunicazione del decesso nel lavoro di polizia
No full textFra le figure professionali che si confrontano con il compito di comunicare l’avvenuto decesso ai familiari vi sono gli appartenenti alle Forze dell’Ordine. La presente ricerca ha preso in considerazione la comunicazione del decesso fra gli operatori della Polizia Municipale, indagandone la frequenza, i fattori cognitivi, emotivi e comportamentali associati all’espletamento del compito, le difficoltà percepite e le rappresentazioni personali delle buone pratiche. Dai risultati emerge che un terzo degli operatori ha effettuato la comunicazione del decesso almeno una volta nell’arco lavorativo. Le difficoltà emerse riguardano soprattutto l’articolazione del messaggio principale, il mantenimento di una "giusta vicinanza" e la gestione delle reazioni dei familiari. In maniera simile le rappresentazioni delle buone pratiche vertono su competenze comunicative e relazionali in equilibrio tra interessamento e distacco. I poliziotti che hanno svolto più spesso questo compito delicato e indesiderato presentano una maggiore probabilità di soffrire sintomi di disturbo da stress post-traumatico, di essere vulnerabili a stress acuto e di riportare schemi cognitivi disadattivi ma anche di sentirsi maggiormente competenti sul lavoro, di essere disponibili ad offrire sostegno ai colleghi e di essere più forti emotivamente. In conclusione si sottolinea il bisogno di supervisione e formazione necessario per comunicare il decesso in maniera sensibile e adeguata
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. No full textCold-pressed hemp seed oil can be a valuable source from both nutritional and sustainability points of view. Thirteen hemp seed oils (HSOs) have been characterized, also with useful data about the bioactive compounds present in this product, considering that the hemp seed oil industry lacks of specific standard for the quality control of this oil. Samples were collected from the market and 12 of the 13 HSOs were claimed to be coldpressed on the label. The hydrolytic and oxidative states were investigated according to the standards provided by the Codex Alimentarius. HSOs showed a wide range of free acidity (from 0.89 ± 0.02 to 4.58 ± 0.03 mg KOH/g) and peroxide values (from 3.97 ± 0.25 to 23.89 ± 0.74 mEqO2/kg). The HSOs had a ratio of ω6:ω3 from 2.60 to 3.67. γ-tocopherol ranged from 594 to 967 mg/kg and a wide range in the content of chlorophylls (from 0.78 to 75.7 mg/kg) and carotenes (from 2.53 to 33.9 mg/kg) was seen. This suggests that different extraction conditions (production plants, extraction temperatures and time) were used. Cannabinoids were also present:
cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) (from 4.25 to 91.6 mg/kg), Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC) (up to 5.29 mg/kg) and tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA) (up to 5.00 mg/kg). Lastly, the analysis of the volatile profile highlighted the presence of some specific cannabis terpenes, such as α-pinene and β-pinene
