Abstract
This research took place in 74 regions of Russian Federation. 9772 teachers and 4565 parents participated in this study. The aim of the research was to observe the assessment made by teachers and parents (legal representatives) about the degree of public participation in basic educational programs development. The subjects filled specially designed questionnaires. These questionnaires had small differences for teachers and parents. The main assessment criteria of public participation in educational institutions activity were the frequency of approaches to parents (legal representatives) on various issues, their estimation and level of satisfaction in education and personal development methods performed by educational organizations. According to the obtained data, all of the described assessment criteria statistically significantly differ between teachers and parent (legal representatives). The majority of teachers do not approve parents’ attempts to influence the content, specification and methods of education and personal development. On the contrary, parents declare their readiness to do so, while sometimes their requests are unfounded
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Reproducibility of Psychological Experiments as a Problem of Post-Nonclassical Science
No full textA fundamental project on reproducibility carried out in the USA by Brian Nosek in 2015 (the Reproducibility Project) revealed a serious methodological problem in psychology: the issue of replication of psycho- logical experiments. Reproducibility has been traditionally perceived as one of the basic principles of the scientific method. However, methodological analysis of the modern post-nonclassical stage in the development of science suggests that this might be a bit too uncompromising as applied to psychology. It seems that the very criteria of scientific research need to be reconsidered with regard to the specifics of post-nonclassical science, and, as the authors put it, as a result, reproducibility might lose its key status or even be excluded at all. The reviewed problem and the proposed ways of coping with it are of high importance to research and practice in psychology as they define the strategies for organizing, conducting and evaluating experimental research

Gender-specific experiences of uncertainty of professional status in the period of maturity
No full textThe article represents socio-psychological analysis of gender-specific experiences of uncertainty of professional status in the period of maturity. The authors describe the results of qualitative and quantitative data analysis of 112 people aged 33—39 years old, employed on full time and staying in a situation of threat of job loss or change of important parameters of their employment. On the basis of obtained results the authors make the conclusion about the existence of gender differences in the experiences of uncertainty of professional status in the period of maturity, which become apparent in the decreasing trends of the individual components of the experience of uncertainty from sample to sample, in the differences in the level of expression of these components, as well as in the differences in the configuration of the correlation relationship with different types of gender identity at this stage of ontogenesis. The article indicates the ordered impact of gender identity on the experience of professional status uncertainty in adult life, which is evident in a non-random trend of decreasing symptoms from sample to sample: passion, integral readiness for change and distraction decrease from masculine to feminine; from feminine to masculine — emotions and MITN decrease; from androgynous to feminine — avoidance decreases; from masculine to androgynous — frequency of problem-focused coping decreases
Special Aspects of Sensual Images During Imago Therapy Process
No full textThe article presents the results of the study performed on 27 adults who have completed five imago therapeutic sessions. The subjects were split in two groups: problem-solving group and problem-analysis group. The peculiarities of sensory images that arise during the sessions by Glezer grounded theory method were studied. It turned out that the subject sensual tissue of the psychosemiological tetrahedron (the term of F. Vasiljuk) of the imago therapeutic image is represented mainly by sensory imaginary events and less frequently by sensual objects and recalled events. The pole and sensory tissue of meaning are least expressed in the imago therapeutic image. The pole and sensory tissue of personal meaning are significantly expressed by the imago therapeutic image. Not only elements relating to the imagination are woven into the imago therapeutic image but also elements reflecting the process of imaginative psychotherapy as a whole, a separate session, the process of imagination. These elements are closely related to the elements of imaginary and remembered events, their feelings and comprehension
