Habitudes toxicologiques et BPCO ( évaluation prospective au sein de la population carcérale de la maison d'arrêt de Lyon-Corbas)
No full textVéritable enjeu de santé public, la BPCO est une maladie respiratoire chronique largement sous-diagnostiquée et dont la prévalence ne cesse de s'accroître, notamment du fait de l'augmentation du nombre de fumeurs depuis plusieurs années. Les objectifs de ce travail sont, d'une pmi, de dépister les détenus atteints de BPCO sur la base d'un entretien, associé à une épreuve de spirométrie et confirmé par un bilan pneumologique. D'autre pmi, cette étude prospective sera à la base de l'optimisation du dépistage et de la prise en charge pharmaco-thérapeutique des détenus atteints de BPCO. Du 6 juin au 30 août 2013, nous avons interrogé tous les détenus entrants, à la maison d'arrêt de Lyon-Corbas, à l'aide d'un questionnaire d'évaluation de leurs habitudes tabagiques et toxicologiques suivi d'une épreuve de spirométrie afin de mettre en évidence un trouble ventilatoire obstructif Les détenus présentant un TVO sont ensuite vus par un pneumologue pour poser ou éliminer le diagnostic d'une BPCO. Parmi les 288 détenus inclus dans l'étude, 249 ont accepté de participer, ce qui fait une exhaustivité de 86,5%. L'âge moyen des détenus est de 32 ans. 83,5% d'entre eux sont fumeurs or en 2007, une autre étude réalisée en milieu carcéral, dans les mêmes conditions, estimait à 80,6% le nombre de fumeurs. On note ici une légère hausse de cette addiction à mettre en lien avec la banalisation du tabac et aux conditions sociales précaires des détenus. Notons que cette légère hausse est cohérente avec les chiffres de la population générale qui estimaient la proportion de fumeurs à 27,1% en 2005 et à 29,7% en 2012. Il en va de même pour la consommation de produits illicites (hors tabac et alcool), avec 39,9% de détenus déclarant en consommer. Concernant le cannabis, ils sont 28,9 % à en fumer, ce qui correspond à presque 15 fois la prévalence dans la population générale (2%). 23 patients souffraient d'un TVO soit 9,2% des répondeurs. Tous nos patients présentant un TVO sont fumeurs. Nous avons dépisté 3 patients atteints de BPCO (1,1%), confirmée par le pneumologue, dont un déjà pris en charge. Le seul traitement, efficace et prouvé, pour arrêter la progression de la BPCO est le sevrage tabagique. Pour lutter contre la hausse du tabagisme, différentes mesures ont été prises par le gouvernement tel que l'interdiction de fumer dans les lieux publics mais cette loi ne s'applique pas en détention. Dans notre étude, 47,6% des détenus ont exprimé leur souhait d'arrêter de fumer, ce qui encourage à proposer une prise en charge du sevrage tabagique. La forte exposition au tabac des détenus et la jeunesse de la population carcérale doit mobiliser les soignants à mettre en place un dépistage systématique de la BPCO et proposer plus fréquemment le sevrage tabagique. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
