Danno Esistenziale: Un argine rotto al torrente delle opinioni
No full textIn merito al riconoscimento del danno non patrimoniale la giurisprudenza, e la medicina legale di seguito, si sono indirizzate verso la ricerca di criteri, per quanto possibile oggettivi, che consentissero sia di identificare le singole voci di danno sia di quantificarle.
Se tale tentativo può ritenersi “riuscito” per il danno biologico, non può dirsi altrettanto per altre fattispecie di danno non patrimoniale (v. danno morale, esistenziale ...), attesa la difficoltà ed a volte impossibilità, di una identificazione univoca delle stesse e della parziale sovrapponibilità che scaturisce dalle talora “fumose” definizioni proposte nella letteratura scientifica.
Invero la nascita del danno esistenziale, ammesso che si possa considerare realmente un danno “nuovo”, sembra ripercorrere le tappe del cammino lento e tortuoso che furono del ben più ampio ambito del “danno non patrimoniale”; ci si chiedeva allora, e ci si chiede oggi, se le attuali e codificate voci di danno fossero in grado di ricomprendere tutte le sofferenze patite da un cittadino vittima di un trauma
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Il reparto assemblaggio motori di Piaggio & C. S.p.A, nella fase di industrializzazione del nuovo motore M648, ha proposto l'introduzione di un nuovo metodo per l'analisi delle fasi di montaggio e per lo studio delle attrezzature e delle macchine necessarie.
Tale esigenza è nata in quanto la progettazione delle attrezzature, dei macchinari e della stessa linea di montaggio viene affidata a fornitori esterni.
Si presentano, dunque, problematiche legate all'aspettativa da parte dell'azienda committente, alla riservatezza delle informazioni che devono essere fornite insieme all'ordine, e ad eventuali ritardi in cui si può incorrere per incomprensioni fra le parti.
L'obiettivo del presente lavoro è quello di migliorare il ciclo di montaggio, generando un'immagine 3D per ogni fase di lavoro, mediante l'utilizzo di un software di modellazione CAD.
In tal modo, puntando sulla chiarezza della documentazione da inviare nella fase di richiesta delle attrezzature, ci si attende di ridurre drasticamente i tempi d'attesa per le forniture.
Abstract
The engine assembly department of Piaggio & C. S.p.A. in the industrialization phase of the new engine M648, propose the introduction of a new method for the analysis of assembly phases and for the studies of the necessary machines and equipments.
This need arose because the design of equipments, machinery and the same assembly line was entrusted to outside suppliers.
We have, therefore, issues related to the expectations of the buyer, confidentiality of information that they provided with the order and any delays which can occur for misunderstandings between the parties.
The purpose of this work is to improve the assembly cycle, generating a 3D image for each phase of work, by using the modelling software CAD.
Thus, focusing on clarity of documentations to be sent during application equipment, is expected to reduce drastically the time of supplies
Delusion and Delirium in Neurodegenerative Disorders: An Overlooked Relationship?
Full text linkDelusions are part of the neuropsychiatric symptoms that patients suffering from neurodegenerative conditions frequently develop at some point of the disease course and are associated with an increased risk of cognitive and functional decline. Delirium is a syndrome characterized by acute onset of deficits in attention, awareness, and cognition that fluctuate in severity over a short time period. Delusions and delirium are frequently observed in the context of neurodegeneration, and their presence can easily mislead clinicians toward a misdiagnosis of psychiatric disorder further delaying the proper treatment. Risk factors for developing delusion and delirium in neurodegenerative conditions have been investigated separately while the possible interplay between these two conditions has not been explored so far. With this study, we aim to achieve a more comprehensive picture of the relationship between delusions and delirium in neurodegeneration by analyzing prevalence and subtypes of delusions in different neurodegenerative disorders; providing an overview of clinical tools to assess delusions in neurodegenerative patients and how delusions are covered by delirium assessment tools and discussing the possible common pathophysiology mechanisms between delusion and delirium in neurodegenerative patients. A more extensive characterization of the relationship between delusions and delirium may help to understand whether delusions may constitute a risk factor for delirium and may ameliorate the management of both conditions in patients with neurodegenerative disorders

Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
