    Analysis of Nuran Turan's stories in terms of values education

    Yüksek Lisans TeziBu çalışmanın amacı, Nuran Turan'ın Ekim 2018 tarihinde yayımlanan Türkçe Tema Hikâyeleri'ni değerler eğitimi açısından incelemek ve Turan'ın çocuk edebiyatındaki önemini göstermektir. Araştırmada, Turan tarafından tasnif edilmiş Türkçe Tema Hikâyeleri içinde yer alan on kitaptan yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmada bu eserler, 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programında yer alan 18 değer ve bu tasnifte yer almayan diğer değerler de dikkate alınarak incelenmiştir. İncelenen bu eserlerdeki iletilerde değerlerin nasıl ele alındığı ve ne sıklıkla işlendiği tespit edilmiş ve değerler eğitiminde nasıl kullanılacağı üzerinde değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur. Tez, beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde yöntem kısmı yer almaktadır. Çalışmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma seçilen tüm evreni kapsamaktadır. Bunun için örneklem alma yoluna gidilmemiştir. Tezin ikinci bölümünde ise kuramsal çerçeve yer almaktadır. Bu bölümde; değer kavramı, değerlerin özellikleri, değerlerin önemi ve işlevleri, değerler eğitimi, değerlerin öğretimi ve değer eğitimi yaklaşımları ve edebî eserle değer öğretimi konularından bahsedilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, Nuran Turan'ın hayatı, edebî kişiliği ve eserleri anlatılarak yazarın çocuk edebiyatındaki yeri tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın dördüncü bölümünde, Nuran Turan'ın incelemeye tabii tutulan on eserindeki iletiler yirmi değer başlığında tasnif edilerek incelenmiş ve değerlerin eserlerde ne sıklıkla yer aldığı analiz edilmiştir. Beşinci bölümde ise çalışma sonucu elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda sonuç ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Ayrıca tezde faydalanılan tüm kaynaklar, kaynakçada gösterilmiştir. Yazarla yapılan röportaj ve yazar ile iletişim sonucu yer alan fotoğraflar ekler kısmında yer almaktadır.The aim of this study is to analyze Türkçe Tema Hikâyeleri puplished by Nuran Turan in 2018 October trough the perspective of values education and to point out her importance on children's literatüre. In this study ten books within Türkçe Tema Hikâyeleri graded by Turan, are practiced on. These Works are studied not only by the perspective of eighteen values that are in Social Studies Curriculum of 2018 but also other values that don't include this classification the frequency the approach and the way of using the messages that are studied in these works are determined. The thesis has fivecparts. The procedure takes parts at first. The document rewiew which is one of the way of qualitative researches is used in this study. The study includes the whole selected universe. For this, sampling is not used. Speculative frames takes place in the second part. The value concept, the qualities the importance, the functions of values, values education, teaching values by literary work are studied. In the third part Nuran turan is located in the children's literature by telling her life her literary pesonality and works. In the fourth part the messages that are studied on the ten Works of Nuran Turan are clssified in ten value titles and the frequency of vakues are analysed. In the fifty part the results and suggestion are proposed by the light of evidences. Also the recourses that are used in thesis are indicated in reference. The interview with the writer and photos related with conversations take part in appendix

    Scanning electron microscopy observations of fatigue crack growth retardation due to block overloads

During the variable amplitude loading tests for every 1200, 2500 and 5000 cycles, a block of 100 cycles overload was applied. For variable amplitude loading tests, crack propagation rates were lower than in constant amplitude loading tests. Applied periodic overloads have a retardation effect on crack propagation and this effect was greater for 2500 cycles than 1200 and 5000 cycles.     Creep and recovery behaviors of chemically induced grafted low density polyethylene films containing silanized hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets

    WOS: 000428765000004Few layers boron nitride nanosheets (BNNSs) were derived from precursors of specially synthesized micro-sized hexagonal boron nitrides (h-BNs) of large flakes through microfluidization. They were then considered promising filler constituent for improving creep and recovery behaviors of low density polyethylene (LDPE) films. To enhance the compatibility between BNNSs and LDPE matrix, attachment of trimethoxy silane (VTS) coupling agent to the surface of BNNSs was performed through microfluidization, followed by chemically induced graft copolymerization of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) onto the surface of LDPE beads by utilizing benzoyl peroxide as initiator. LDPE-g-HEMA films containing various amounts (0.3, 0.5 and 1 wt.%) of silanized BNNSs were consecutively produced, conducting melt extrusion. Neat LDPE films and LDPE-g-HEMA films with and without untreated BNNSs (1 wt.%), were also produced in the same way for the sake of comparison. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) examination showed that morphology of BNNSs was altered after silane treatment, and that silanized BNNSs were dispersed in the form of exfoliated sheets within the grafted film. Creep and recovery behaviors of the resulting films were determined using a Thermal Mechanical Analyzer (TMA). As a result, regardless of the weight content, the grafted films with silanized BNNSs were found to exhibit low creep recovery compliance combined with low maximum creep strain as compared to neat LDPE films and the grafted films with untreated BNNSs, suggesting that mobility of the grafted matrix molecules has become more restricted when they were brought in contact with the silane molecules on the surface of BNNSs. Various different models, including the Findley's power law, Burgers, and Weibull distribution were then proposed to fit the experimentally determined creep and recovery data in order to gain more insight into the effect of untreated and silanized BNNSs on the film deformation mechanisms.     Nanoscopic characterization of two-dimensional (2D) boron nitride nanosheets (BNNSs) produced by microfluidization

    WOS: 000301611700060A microfluidizer high pressure fluid processor is successfully conducted for the first time to exfoliate few layer two dimensional (2D) boron nitride nanosheets (BNNSs) from micro-sized hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) precursors of large flakes. The mixture of N,N-dimethylformamide and chloroform is conducted as solvent. In determination of to what extent the high pressure microfluidizer successfully assisted with exfoliation of 2D BNNSs from h-BN precursors of large flakes, secondary electron-scanning electron microscopy (SE-SEM) imaging, bright field-transmission electron microscopy (BF-TEM) imaging, energy filtering (EF)TEM-3 window elemental mapping, electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS), high resolution (HR)TEM imaging and nano beam electron diffraction (NBED) techniques are carried out. Based on the nanoscopic-scale evidences of few layer 2D BNNSs through various TEM techniques, the sheets are observed to have micrometer dimensions in plane whereas nanometer dimensions through their thicknesses depending on the number of layers stacked together. More specifically, the thickness of 2D BNNSs is calculated to be around between 8 and 12 nm using EELS analysis. This value suggests that BNNSs are composed of approximately between 20 and 30 monatomic 2D graphene-like h-BN layers.     Bu makale, 15. Yüzyıl Timur devri, Herat ve Şîraz sanat okullarındaki nakkaşlar tarafından gerçekleştirilen Kelîle ve Dimne yazmalarına ait fabllardan birinin 4 ayrı yazma eserde yer alan minyatürlerinin incelemesini içerir. Bu yazma eserler; TSMK. R.1022, TSMK. R.1023, SK. Fatih3682 ve İnebey K. Nr. Hüseyin Ç.763 envanter numaralarında kayıtlıdır. İlk üç yazma eser Herat ve Şîraz bölgelerindeki sanat okullarında gerçekleştirilmiş minyatürlü yazmalardır. İnebey kütüphanesinde bulunan Kelîle ve Dimne yazması ise 15.yy Osmanlı İmparatorluğu topraklarında İstanbul’da üretilmiştir. Yazma eser Osmanlı İmparatorluğunda o dönemin Şîrazlı\Tebrizli nakkaşları tarafından gerçekleştirilmiştir. Eser bu ayırt edici özelliğinden dolayı tercih edilmiştir. Araştırmada konu edilen hikâye ikonografik bir yaklaşımla ele alınmış ve farklı dönem üsluplarının kurgusal olarak değerlendirmesiyle anlatılmıştır. Desen analizi, sayfa düzeni, renk değerlendirmesi, dönemler arasındaki teknik, imge ve kavram karşılaştırmaları üzerinde durularak son bulmaktadır. JEL Kodu: N95.This article includes a review of the miniatures in one of the four manuscripts of the Kalila and Dimna manuscripts to painted by the 15th century Timur era, the miniaturists of the Herat and Shiraz art schools. These manuscripts are registered in the inventory numbers of TSMK R.1022, TSMK R.1023, SK Fatih3682 and İnebey K. Hüseyin Ç.763. The first three manuscripts are miniaturized in the art schools of the Herat and Şhiraz regions. One of the manuscript was painted by artist from Shiraz on the Ottoman Empire in Istanbul in the 15th century.The story was preferred because of this distinctive reason. The story covered in the research has been handled with an iconographic approach and has been told by the fictional evaluation of the styles of different periods.
