City of Wheeler transportation system plan : 2000-2001
112 pp. Maps and figures included. Most recent activity June 19, 2001. Received from ODOT January 2, 2007.The Wheeler TSP will address ways to improve the transportation system to support anticipated growth in
Wheeler and associated traffic volumes in a way that will support the functioning of Highway 101 as a Statewide
Highway. The TSP will plan for a transportation system that includes all modes of travel (i.e. rail, pedestrian,
bicycle, auto, marine, and public transportation), serves the entire urban area, and is well coordinated with the
state, regional, and county transportation network. Specific objective include:
planning local street connections and extensions to provide for local circulation and access off of Highway
101;
developing local street standards that comply with the TPR;
identifying appropriate improvements along Highway 101 to support planned land uses and the long-term
functionality of Highway 101;
planning for pedestrian circulation improvements, particularly in and near downtown, to reduce the need for
short car trips on Highway 101 and improve pedestrian safety; and
evaluating designation of the downtown area as a "special transportation area" or STA to provide access to
community activities, businesses and residences and to accommodate pedestrian movement along and across
Highway 101. [From the Plan]"This project is partially funded by a grant from the Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) Program, a joint program of the Oregon Department of Transportation and the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development. The TGM grant is funded with federal Intermodal Transportation Efficiency Act and local government funds.
Vale downtown master plan : Final report
100 pp. Maps and figures included. Published June 10, 2001. Adopted by City Council June 18, 2001. Received from ODOT January 2, 2007.The primary objective of the Vale Downtown
Master Plan is to develop a schematic "main street"
plan for Vale's downtown highway facilities. In
1998 the Oregon Transportation commission
approved two projects in the downtown Vale area,
totaling 800,000 grant to add decorative
lighting and other features to the downtown historic
district. These improvements are planned to be
constructed in 2002. [From the Plan
Pacific City/Woods transportation plan : Tillamook County, Oregon
24 pp. Bookmarks supplied by UO. Includes figures. Most recent activity August 10, 1999. Received from ODOT January 2, 2007.Tillamook County obtained a State of Oregon Transportation Growth Management (TGM) Program grant to prepare a transportation plan for the unincorporated community of Pacific City/Woods. This plan will serve as a model for other communities in the county. This work requires refinement, elaboration and integration into other county planning initiatives.... The Pacific City/Woods Transportation Plan utilizes the previously completed transportation efforts, policies and visions; identifies additional and modified transportation improvement project recommendations; and incorporates the recommendations, standards and policies into the Tillamook County regulatory process. [From the Plan]"This project is funded by a grant from the Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) Program, a Joint Program of the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD). TGM grants rely on the federal Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act and Oregon Lottery funds.
Tillamook County : Transportation system plan : Phase I : An evaluation and identification of future transportation planning, 1998-1999
40 pp. Bookmarks supplied by UO. Published August 11, 1999. Received from ODOT January 2, 2007.Project objectives: develop a stakeholder involvement program; review current transportation-related documents to determine relationships and conflicts; update the inventory and review the format and content of the Goal 12 element of the comprehensive plan; establish road design standards; identify future needed planning studies and develop a workscope for Phase 2 of the Tillamook County Transportation System Plan. [From the Plan]"This project is partially funded by a grant from the Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) Program, a joint program of the Oregon Department of Transportation and the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
