W ramach analizy sfery znaczeniowej zostaje też podjęta próba odczytania wspólnego celu działania Osób Trójcy Świętej objawionych mistyczkom.This article confronts the private revelations of sister Faustyna Kowalska and mother Eugenia Elisabetta Ravasio. Their subject was two persons of the Holy Trinity: God the Father and Jesus Christ. The author shows the common threads of meaning contained in communications from both revelations and analyses the structure of the vision of the two nuns. According to the author, their characteristic feature is a combination of conceptual cognition and visual cognition, rarely seen in the history of private revelations. As part of the analysis of the sphere of meaning, an attempt is also made to read the common purpose of the activities of the persons of the Holy Trinity revealed to the mystics

Get PDFThe implementation of the Political Theology project, which aimed to create new versions of the Divine Mercy image taken during the apparitions of St. Faustina in the 1930s, was subjected to devastating criticism in the Więź article. The issues raised by the article\u27s author, who is a linguist, deal with complex issues in the theology of visuality. The theses contained therein fall short of the knowledge in this field. This article attempts to correct the errors contained in the Więź article. The analysis shows that not only the criticism of the project, but also the project itself, along with its implementation, contain a number of glaring flaws and irregularities. One of the conclusions is that the inadequate research base and lack of competence in the fields that the project unauthorizedly attempts to represent, instead of solving complex problems, make them even more intricate.Realizacja projektu Teologii Politycznej, który miał na celu stworzenie nowych wersji obrazu Miłosierdzia Bożego wykonanego podczas objawień św. Faustyny w latach 30. XX w., została poddana druzgocącej krytyce w artykule „Więzi”. Zagadnienia poruszane przez autorkę artykułu, która jest lingwistką, dotyczą złożonej problematyki z zakresu teologii wizualności. Zawarte w nim tezy rozmijają się jednak z wiedzą z tego zakresu. W niniejszym artykule podjęta została próba korekty błędów zawartych w artykule „Więzi”. Z analiz wynika, że nie tylko krytyka projektu, lecz również sam projekt wraz z jego realizacją zawierają szereg rażących wad i nieprawidłowości. Jednym z wniosków jest to, że niewystarczające baza badawcza i brak kompetencji w dziedzinach, które w nieuprawniony sposób próbuje się reprezentować, zamiast rozwiązywać skomplikowane problemy, czynią je jeszcze bardziej zawiłymi.

No full textIn the essay the author follows Zbigniew Herbert’s path by asking a question: “What is a mystery of Socrates?”. The author wants to present that Zbigniew Herbert in his books took a journey, a spiritual wander, to the Greek roots (beginnings) to the European culture and sources of the European humanity. He distinguishes the difference between ‘root’ (or ‘beginning’) from ‘source’. “The portrait of Socrates” by Herbert reflects the two main dimensions of poet’s creative as well as philosophical aspirations. Socrates represents different reflections on the human condition. He encompasses various – for many philosophers – unpredictable dimensions of human existence. He has ability to rational, intellectual examination of the world as well as tendency to investigate his artistic poetic work and vocation. However, the mystery of Socrates appears to be a source of creative thinking
