This thesis aims to develop a messaging application for iOS devices, specifically for iPhone and iPad, named “LetsChat”. This application has requirements specification that other messaging applications in the market have: Login with Facebook and Google account; sending text messages; sending photo and video messages The technologies used to develop this application were Firebase, Swift and Facebook SDK. Firebase was used as a Backend for storing all the data of the "LetsChat" application including user’s information, text messages, conversations, storing photos/video. Swift was used as a main programing language. Sing-in and authentication was implemented using Facebook SDK and Firebase. The result of the thesis is a messaging application enabling users to send text and multi-media messages using mobile devices This project was tested and proved to work as required for the further development phase. This project can be deployed to the Appstore

This study applied SERVQUAL scale of Parasuraman et al to measure factors a ecting customer satisfaction on service quality at Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank - An Gi- ang Branch (Techcombank An Giang). The study was conducted to survey 207 customers who have been using the service at Techcombank An Giang. The survey results were analyzed by the Cronbach's Alpha reliability test method, then used Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) to verify and evaluate the scale of service quality. The results of the regression analysis show that customer's satisfaction about service quality at Techcombank An Giang includes four factors: The factor with the highest level is the Empathy with Beta = 0.253, the second of factor is the Responsibility with Beta = 0.248, ranked third in the in uence level is the Tangible with Beta = 0.235, and the lowest im- pact level is the Reliability with Beta = 0.144. The research also uses statistical methods to describe and test the di erences of demographic factors with customer's satisfactionon service quality. The analysis results show that there is no di erence between customer's satisfaction on service quality and factors such as gender, age, income, number of transaction banks, regular transaction banks, and time to use the service at Techcombank An Giang. Through the research results, the author would like to propose some ideas to improve the quality of services, thereby attracting new cus- tomers and importantly, keeping traditional customers because the development orientation of Techcombank is to take care of old customers to cross sell other products of the bank. The Stud results o er a basis for the branch to identify the factors in uencing customer satisfaction on their service quality, thereby having an appropriate strategy to improve customer satisfaction

A new grid search algorithm based on XGBoost model for load forecasting

    No full text
XGBoost is a highly effective and widely used machine learning model and its hyperparameters take an important role on the performance of the model. This paper presents a new grid search (GS) algorithm for obtaining optimal hyperparameters of the XGBoost model based on the median values of their error loss. A benchmark method used to evaluate the proposed and original GS algorithms is introduced. Datasets with measured daily electricity demand load values of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Tasmania state, Australia are analyzed for the performance of both algorithms. The error metrics, mean squared errors (MSEs), of the proposed algorithm are found to be 2,282 MW and 501 MW that are smaller than those of original algorithms, which are 2,424 MW and 537 MW in case of Ho Chi Minh City and Tasmania state, respectively. These results then verify the accuracy of the proposed algorithm

The impact of socially responsible human resource management on the organizational citizenship behavior of employees in universities in Ho Chi Minh City

    No full text
This study aims to examine the influence of socially responsible human resource management on employees’ organizational citizenship behavior in universities in Ho Chi Minh City, using both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. The official quantitative research was conducted with a substantial sample size (n = 422) comprising staff members and lecturers at institutions in Ho Chi Minh City, encompassing all relevant content, scope, and subjects. The gathered data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate the measurement and structural models and to test the proposed hypotheses. The study’s findings demonstrate that socially responsible human resource management, involving three factors such as legal compliance, employee orientation, and organizational support, has a positive impact on organizational citizenship behavior among personnel in Ho Chi Minh City universities using the mediator element of organizational identification. This research uses two theoretical frameworks: social identity theory, which explains how employees’ alignment with organizational values influences OCB, and social exchange theory, which emphasizes the reciprocal relationship between employees and organizations and motivates OCB through perceived benefits. This study’s findings can benefit state management of education and training in general and higher education in particular by offering ideas to improve human resource management in universities, thereby creating favorable conditions for the development of Vietnam’s education sector
