„Przeważnie rzeźbię z własnej wyobraźni”. Twórczość sakralna Janiny Reichert-Toth we Lwowie i Krakowie
This paper is a presentation of the biography of a forgotten Polish sculptor, Janina Reichert-Toth (1895–1986). One of the first female students of the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts, a student of Konstanty Laszczka, in the interwar years in Lviv she successfully created portraits, works of sacred art and monumental sculptures. Her promising career was interrupted by the outbreak of war. Following repatriation to Cracow in 1946, in the new realities of politics and life, she was no longer able to recover her pre-war status and artistic forms.Tekst stanowi prezentację biografii zapomnianej polskiej rzeźbiarki Janiny Reichert-Toth (1895–1986). Jedna z pierwszych studentek krakowskiej ASP, uczennica Konstantego Laszczki, w latach międzywojennych z sukcesem tworzyła we Lwowie portrety, dzieła sakralne i monumentalne rzeźby. Obiecująca kariera została przerwana przez wybuch wojny. Po repatriacji w 1946 roku do Krakowa, w nowych realiach politycznych i życiowych, artystka nie miała już możliwości odzyskać przedwojennej formy i artystycznego statusu
A Heuristic Procedure for the Capacitated m-Ring-Star Problem
In this paper we propose a heuristic method to solve the Capacitated m-Ring-Star Problem which has many practical applications in communication networks. The problem consists of finding m rings (simple cycles) visiting a central depot, a subset of customers and a subset of potential (Steiner) nodes, while customers not belonging to any ring must be “allocated” to a visited (customer or Steiner) node. Moreover, the rings must be node-disjoint and the number of customers allocated or visited in a ring cannot be greater than the capacity Q given as an input parameter. The objective is to minimize the total visiting and allocation costs. The problem is a generalization of the Traveling Salesman Problem, hence it is NP-hard.
In the proposed heuristic, after the construction phase, a series of different local search procedures are applied iteratively. This method incorporates some random aspects by perturbing the current solution through a “shaking” procedure which is applied whenever the algorithm remains in a local optimum for a given number of iterations. Computational experiments on the benchmark instances of the literature show that the proposed heuristic is able to obtain, within a short computing time, most of the optimal solutions and can improve some of the best known results
DEVELOPMENT OF PHONOLOGICAL AWARENESS LETTER RECOGNITION IN THE BILINGUAL REGION
Diplomsko delo z naslovom Razvijanje fonološkega zavedanja in prepoznavanje črk dvojezičnem področju v prvem, teoretičnem delu, predstavi tri sporazumevalne dejavnosti (poslušanje, branje in pisanje), metode in postopke opismenjevanja ter jezikovno organizacijo pouka in modele opismenjevanja v dvojezični osnovni šoli. Empirični del temelji na raziskavi, katere namen je bil ugotoviti, ali so učenci, ki se hkrati opismenjujejo v obeh jezikih, zmožni v obeh jezikih enakovredno razvijati fonološko zavedanje in poznavanje črk. V empiričnem delu so torej predstavljeni rezultati te raziskave, ki dokazujejo, da lahko pri uravnoteženo dvojezičnih otrocih primerljivo dobro razvijamo zmožnost fonološkega zavedanja in poznavanja črk v obeh jezikih. Raziskava potrjuje hipotezo, da je fonološko zavedanje do določene mere univerzalna zmožnost in se zaradi tega pri hkratnem opismenjevanju v obeh jezikih vzajemno podpira. Napredek učencev sem ugotavljala z deskriptivno in eksperimentalno metodo in sicer dvakrat, v razmiku osmih mesecev (oktober-maj). Pri tem je bil za slovenščino uporabljen del standardirizanega testa Ocenjevalna shema bralnih zmožnosti učencev – OSBZ-1, za madžarščino pa prilagoditev tega testa. Z instrumentarijem sem preverjala poznavanje črk in sposobnost fonološkega zavedanja.In the first part of my diploma thesis titled Development of Phonological Awareness and Letter Recognition in the Bilingual Region I introduced three communication skills (listening, reading and writing), methods and procedures of literacy teaching, language organisation of the lesson and some models of literacy teaching in bilingual primary schools.
The empirical part is based on a research, aiming to find out, if pupils, gaining dual language literacy, are capable of developing phonological awareness and letter recognition in both languages equally. The empirical part provides the results of this research, which prove, that we can develop good phonological awareness and letter recognition in both languages with bilingual pupils.
The research proves the hypothesis, that phonological awareness is, to some extent, a universal ability and with pupils, gaining dual language literacy, this ability is reciprocally supported. Pupils’ progress was established through the descriptive and experimental method twice, in a time gap of eight months (October – May). For the Slovene language I used the standardized Evaluation Scheme reading achievement test – OSBZ-1, for the Hungarian language I used a modified version of the test. A Variable Neighborhood Search and its Application to a Ring Star Problem Generalization

We present a new approach based on Variable Neighborhood search (VNS), also incorporate the algorithm with an Integer Linear Programming (ILP) based improvement procedure to enhance the quality of the solutions. Comparing the proposed VNS method with the best state-of-the-art algorithms for the CmRSP on a large variety of instances, clearly shows the superiority of the proposed approach
Particle spectrum of the 3-state Potts field theory: A Numerical study
The three-state Potts field theory in two dimensions with thermal and magnetic perturbations provides the simplest model of confinement allowing for both mesons and baryons, as well as for an extended phase with deconfined quarks. We study numerically the evolution of the mass spectrum of this model over its whole parameter range, obtaining a pattern of confinement, particle decay and phase transitions which confirms recent predictions
An electromagnetism metaheuristic for the unicost set covering problem
In this paper we propose a new heuristic algorithm to solve the unicost version of the well-known set covering problem. The method is based on the electromagnetism metaheuristic approach which, after generating a pool of solutions to create the initial population, applies a fixed number of
local search and movement iterations based on the ‘‘electromagnetism” theory. In addition to some random aspects, used in the construction
and local search phases, we also apply mutation in order to further escape from local optima.
The proposed algorithm has been tested over 80 instances of the literature. On the classical benchmark instances, where the number of columns is larger than the number of rows, the algorithm, by using a
fixed set of parameters, always found the best known solution, and for 12 instances it was able to improve the current best solution. By using different parameter settings the algorithm improved 4 additional best known solutions.
Moreover, we proved the effectiveness of the electromagnetism metaheuristic approach for the unicost
set covering problem by embedding the procedures of the proposed algorithm in a genetic algorithm scheme. The worse results obtained by the genetic algorithm show the impact of the electromagnetism metaheuristic approach in conducting the search of the solution space by applying the
movements based on the electromagnetism theory. Finally, we report the results obtained by modifying the proposed electromagnetism metaheuristic algorithm for solving the non-unicost set covering problem

dykes in the Villány Mts. This paper presents clinopyroxene and spinel single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies from spinel lherzolite
xenoliths from this locality. Clinopyroxene unit cell volumes are signifi cantly high (up to 437 Å3) and show fi nal equilibrium
pressures near to the plagioclase stability fi eld. Unit cell parameters of the spinel crystals range from 8.1479 to 8.1541 Å, and are
directly related with their low cr#. Oxygen atomic coordinates u are equal to 0.2628 and suggest slow cooling of the samples related
to the subvolcanic character of the host rock. Crystal structure and thermobarometrical data of the xenoliths, together with a detailed
petrographical study, indicate recrystallization and re-equilibration of the sampled mantle section under low PT conditions
Primerjava ugleda nemškega jezika v tretjem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju na dveh različnih osnovnih šolah v Prekmurju
Im Mittelpunkt der Diplomarbeit mit dem Titel ‚‚Vergleich des Images der deutschen Sprache im dritten Bildungsabschnitt an zwei verschiedenen Grundschulen in Prekmurje‘‘ steht das Image der deutschen Sprache bzw. ihr Vergleich an zwei, von Hinsicht des mehrsprachigen Unterrichtes, abgrenzenden Grundschulen in Slowenien.
Das Ziel der Untersuchung ist der Vergleich des Images der deutschen Sprache zwischen zwei Befragungsgruppen, die jeweils Schüler der einsprachigen Grundschule in Murska Sobota oder der zweisprachigen Grundschule in Lendava sind und sich im Alter zwischen zwölf und fünfzehn Jahren befinden. Die Forschung fokussiert sich auf die eventuellen Unterschiede zwischen den Sprachimages der zwei untersuchten Gruppen.
Im theoretischen Teil wird definiert, was eigentlich unter dem Begriff Image verstanden wird, von welchen Faktoren das Image einer Sprache beeinflusst wird, was die verbreitetsten Mythen über Sprachen sind und welche Rolle die englische Sprache dabei spielt.
Im empirischen Teil wird eine Analyse des Fragebogens folgen, das dieses Thema behandelt. An der Umfrage nahmen 149 Schüler des dritten Bildungsabschnittes aus Lendava und 139 aus Murska Sobota teil. Insgesamt wurde der Fragebogen von 278 Schülern ausgefüllt. Der Fragebogen beinhaltet Aufgabenstellungen und Fragen, mit Hilfe dessen man sich ein Bild über das Image des Deutschen, bei den Schülern der jeweiligen Schulen, machen konnte. Von großer Bedeutung war es, die subjektiven Informationen der Individuen zu bekommen, um so zu einem authentischen Resultat der wissenschaftlichen Arbeit zu kommen.V ospredju diplomske naloge z naslovom Primerjava ugleda nemškega jezika v tretjem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju na dveh različnih osnovnih šolah v Prekmurju je primerjava tega, kakšen ugled ima nemški jezik na dveh osnovnih šolah v Sloveniji, ki se razlikujeta glede na večjezično poučevanje, in sicer na Osnovni šoli II Murska Sobota in na Dvojezični osnovni šoli I Lendava.
Cilj raziskovalnega dela oziroma diplomske naloge je ugotoviti, ali obstaja razlika med ugledom nemškega jezika v tretjem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju v enojezični in dvojezični osnovni šoli. Rezultati bodo obenem pokazali, kakšen je splošni ugled nemškega jezika z vidika približno 280 otrok. Raziskovalo se bo tudi, ali večjezičnost vpliva na ugled tujega jezika, v tem primeru nemščine. Glavna teza raziskovalne naloge je, da imata večjezičnost in večjezično šolanje pozitiven vpliv na ugled nemškega jezika pri anketiranih osebah oziroma da ima ta pri anketirancih iz dvojezične osnovne šole večji ugled kot pri anketirancih iz enojezične.
V teoretičnem delu je obravnavana definicija izraza ugled, kaj vse sodi pod ta pojem, problematika njegovega določanja, kateri faktorji vplivajo na ugled jezika, kateri so najbolj razširjeni miti o jezikih in kakšno vlogo pri vsem tem igra angleški jezik.
V empiričnem delu sledi analiza anket, ki obravnavajo to temo. Anketo je izpolnilo 149 učencev, ki obiskujejo tretje vzgojno-izobraževalno obdobje na Dvojezični osnovni šoli I Lendava, ter 139 učencev tretjega vzgojno-izobraževalnega obdobja Osnovne šole II v Murski Soboti. Skupno jo je tako izpolnilo 278 učencev. Anketa vsebuje naloge in vprašanja, s pomočjo katerih se da sklepati, kakšen ugled ima pri njih nemški jezik. Pri tem je bila posebnega pomena pridobitev subjektivnih informacij s strani anketirancev, da bi na ta način lahko resnično dobili avtentične rezultate
