Modelo de atracción estratégica y acompañamiento para universidades
Get PDFLa presente investigación inicia con el objetivo de generar un modelo mercadológico que colabore con la Gestión Estratégica de la Matrícula (G.E.M.), propio de instituciones educativas, así como existen modelos de gestión y mercadológicos en algunas otras industrias. Para ello se realizaron varias actividades de investigación y análisis de la matrícula de las universidades privadas del Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara, información que se publica cada año en la Secretaría de Educación Jalisco, y de manera específica la información de la universidad investigada.
También se buscó que la promoción de las universidades, además de distinguirse de otras industrias, se adecúe a los atributos de las instituciones educativas, específicamente universidades, y compatible con el público objetivo que busca.
En los análisis se encuentra que las universidades tienen en la mejor posición algún programa educativo o licenciatura y su inscripción es muy diferente a las demás universidades de competencia, de acuerdo con el reporte de alumnos inscritos de estas universidades. Así mismo el número de carreras no se relaciona necesariamente con el número de alumnos totales.
En esta primera investigación y de acuerdo con los expertos en materia de la mercadotecnia se hizo un análisis del entorno y un análisis de la competencia de una universidad específica que nos muestra cuáles son los principales elementos para colocar la promoción y la comunicación de las universidades.
La parte más importante estriba en cómo los expertos en la gestión de las universidades han generado modelos para cumplir con su misión. Sí, como toda institución además de ser sustentable, su objetivo va más allá de lo comercial, más allá de la generación de utilidades, elementos que sin duda muchas instituciones educativas privadas buscarán, pero hay un objetivo aún más importante y que es para todas las instituciones, el cumplir con la misión, la de formar personas, formar profesionales en los diferentes campos académicos y para la mejora de las industrias, en sus competencias, sus productos, su producción, su atención, sus procesos, sus servicios, etc.
Para el caso de las universidades existe la Gestión Estratégica de la Matrícula (G.E.M.), que modela los elementos importantes para llevar a cabo la misión y que requiere, por lo mismo, de un modelo comercial, mercadológico que colabore con esta gestión. El conocimiento de la matrícula particular de cada universidad revelará cómo se deberá generar una estrategia de mercado, así como las que las demás universidades plantean también para generar una estrategia diferenciadora que atraiga a los alumnos compatibles con la ideología de cada universidad.ITESO, A.C

This article explains this phenomenon as a manifestation of the agency that wor-kers have to deal with their experience of work depletion, an experience in which individual resistance practices represent their only alternative in most cases. En este artículo se explica dicho fenómeno como una manifestación de la agencia con la que cuentan los trabajadores para lidiar con su experiencia de degaste laboral, experiencia en la que las prácticas de resistencia individuales representan su única alternativa en la mayoría de los casos. El artículo se desprende de una investigación doctoral en la que se trabajó con 22 reconstrucciones de experiencias laborales diversas, que se examinaron por medio del análisis narrativo por posicionamiento.
Significación y agencia en la experiencia del desgaste laboral
Get PDFCon un enfoque interdisciplinario, esta investigación aborda cómo las personas trabajadoras experimentan y significan el desgaste laboral, y hace énfasis en el ejercicio de su agencia al lidiar con él, es decir, en las prácticas que las personas llevan a cabo. Se parte del conocimiento recabado históricamente sobre el burnout, un concepto ampliamente estudiado clínicamente y muy valioso por sus aportes respecto al desgaste laboral, pero con algunas limitaciones desde el punto de vista sociocultural. Al entender en este trabajo al desgaste laboral como un fenómeno no personal o clínico, sino sistémico, se trabaja sobre él considerando los factores socioeconómicos, socioculturales y sociopolíticos en los que se desarrolla.
Tras analizar la información recabada en el trabajo de campo, tomando como unidad de análisis la reconstrucción de las experiencia laborales de diversos trabajadores en el Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara (AMG), se encuentra que estos se enfrentan a un sistema ante el cual responden principalmente, aunque no exclusivamente, mediante prácticas de resistencia física, social y emocional. También con base en este análisis, se proponen siete tipologías que presentan algunas maneras de ser trabajador en el AMG bajo un sistema predominantemente neoliberal.ITESO, A. C
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

No full textWe have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
