Destination observation that the author is made to find out how the marketing strategies
on AJB Bumiputera 1912 Branch Office. Life Insurance group in Yogyakarta use to market
effectively and efficiently.
This observation takes place at AJB Bumiputera Branch Life Insurance Collection
Yogyakarta. Data obtained from direct observation and from books or other information such as
interviews and documentation. Methods of data collection done at the office AJB Bumiputera
1912 Life Insurance Branch Office Bundle Yogyakarta. This observation using descriptive
methods.
Results obtained from the observation that the author did a marketing strategy that is
applied to the AJB Bumiputera 1912 Branch Life Insurance Collection Yogyakarta, namely:
right triangle strategy, pricing, distribution systems and marketing communications. The strategy
consists of a right triangle right market, right human resources and appropriate products. In
determining the price term used in the collection of insurance premium which is a means of
payment by the Policy, to make a valid insurance policy in order to maintain and continue to
apply, the factors used in calculating life insurance premium collection include: Money guaranty
(UP) , at the age of the participants began to insurance, the time period / period of insurance,
premium payment and the premium rate table. Distribution system on AJB Bumiputera 1912
Life Insurance Branch Office of Yogyakarta using marketing mechanisms that started from an
agency to seek and obtain prospects, an interview or interviews, proposals, presentations, data

Pengaruh Switching Barrierterhadap Loyalitas Nasabah Asuransi Pendidikan AJB Bumiputera :Survei pada Nasabah Asuransi Pendidikan AJB Bumiputera Cabang Kota Serang
Eksistensi industri asuransi ditandai dengan tingkat loyalitas pelanggan, khususnya industri asuransi di Kota Serang. AJB Bumiputera merupakan salah satu perusahaan asuransi yang memiliki berbagai tawaran produk asuransi. Salah satu produk yang paling diminati yaitu produk asuransi pendidikan. Untuk dapat bertahan di tengah persaingan, perusahaan dituntut untuk menciptakan strategi yang dapat memperkuat loyalitas nasabah karena produk yang memiliki loyalitas nasabah yang baik adalah produk yang mampu bersaing untuk merebut dan menguasai pasar. Salah satu strategi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan switching barrier.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui gambaran tingkat pelaksanaan switching barrier pada produk asuransi pendidikan AJB Bumiputera Cabang Serang, (2) mengetahui gambaran tingkat loyalitas nasabah produk asuransi pendidikan AJB Bumiputera Cabang Kota Serang, (3) mengetahui temuan mengenai seberapa besar pengaruh tingkat pelaksanaan switching barrier terhadap loyalitas nasabah pada produk asuransi pendidikan AJB Bumiputera Cabang Serang. Objek/unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah nasabah asuransi pendidikan AJB Bumiputera Cabang Serang. Variabel bebas (X) dalam penelitian ini adalah switching barrier dan variabel terikat (Y) pada penelitian ini adalah loyalitas nasabah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, verifikatif, dan metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan teknik stratified random sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 200 nasabah. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah path analysisdengan alat bantu software komputer SPSS 21.0. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian menyatakan bahwa kinerja switchng barrier berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas nasabah asuransi pendidikan AJB Bumiputera sebesar 70,1%. Dari penelitian terhadap pengujian hipotesis dapat diketahui bahwa kinerja switching barrier memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap loyalitas nasabah.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian melalui analisis jalur terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari switching barrier terhadap loyalitas nasabah asuransi pendidikan AJB Bumiputera cabang Kota Serang, yaitu 1) organizational credibility, 2) value congruency, 3) switching cost, 4) relational value, sedangkan dimensi 5) lack of attractiveness of other alternatives tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah asuransi pendidikan AJB Bumiputera cabang Kota Serang. Pengaruh kedua variabel ini memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial.
Penulis merekomendasikan agar perusahaan lebih selektif dalam memilih strategi switching barrier sebagai salah satu strategi untuk meningkatkan loyalitas nasabah asuransi pendidikan AJB Bumiputera.

The existence of the insurance industry is characterized by levels of customer loyalty, particularly the insurance industry in the city of Serang. AJB Bumiputera is one insurance company that has a variety of insurance products. One of the most demanded product is an insurance product education. To be able to survive in the competitive, companies are required to create a strategy that can strengthen customer loyalty for a product that has a good customer loyalty is a product that can compete to win and dominate the market. One of the strategy that can be done is by switching barrier.
The purpose of research are (1) to obtain findings on switching barrier of education insurance AJB Bumiputera in Serang City (2) to obtain findings on customer loyality of education insurance AJB Bumiputera in Serang City (3) to obtain discovery regarding its performanceswitching barrier can affect customer loyality of education insurance AJB Bumiputera in Serang City either simultaneously or partially. The object of this study were customer of education insurance AJB Bumiputerain Serang City. The independent variable (X) in this study is the performance switching barriers and the dependent variable (Y) in this study is customer loyalty. This type of research is descriptive, verification, and the method used is explanatory survey with stratified random sampling technique, with a sample size of 200 customer. Data analysis technique used is path analysis with SPSS computer software tools 21.0.The result obtained in this study stated that the performance switching barrier on customer loyalty at customer education insurance AJB Bumiputera in Serang City is 70,1%. From this result of the study to test the hypothesis that the performance can be seen switching barrier have a positive influence on customer loyalty.
Based the results of research through path analy, it was found that there was a significant effect of switching barrier on loyalty customer of education insurance in AJB Bumiputera: 1) organizational credibility, 2) value congruency, 3) switching cost, 4) relational value, however, in 5) lack of attractiveness of other alternatives there was not found a significant effect. Influence of these two variables have a significant effect either simultaneously or partialy.
The author recommends that companies be more selective in choosing switching barrier as a strategy to enhance loyalty customer of education insureance AJB Bumiputera.

PENGARUH SISTEM PENGHARGAAN DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN (Studi pada Karyawan Divisi Marketing AJB Bumiputera Kota Bandung )
Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kinerja karyawan. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan turunnya pendapatan premi asuransi, perolehan nasabah dan penilaian kinerja karyawan yang rendah. Fenomena tersebut harus segera ditangani karena karyawan merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menentukan keberhasilan perusahaan. Penghargaan dan motivasi kerja dijadikan suatu cara untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan.
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat penghargaan di AJB Bumiputera, untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi kerja di AJB Bumiputera, untuk mengetahui tingkat kinerja karyawan AJB Bumiputera dan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh penghargaan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan AJB Bumiputera. Objek yang menjadi unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan AJB Bumiputera. Variable bebas (X) dalam penelitian ini adalah penghargaan dan motivasi kerja sedangkan variable terikat (Y) yaitu kinerja karyawan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, verifikatif, dan metode yang digunakan yaitu explanatory survey, dengan teknik sampel jenuh dan jumlah responden 52 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah path analysis dengan alat bantu software komputer SPSS 21.0. Hasil temuan penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa penghargaan dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 68%. Dari penelitian terhadap pengujian hipotesis penghargaan dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara simultan maupun parsial.
Penulis merekomendasikan agar perusahaan dapat memiliki cara untuk lebih meningkatkan penghargaan dan motivasi kerja untuk peningkatan kinerja perusahaan

The background of this study is on the low performance of employees. It is indicated by the decreasing revenue of insurance premium, customer acquisition and the low apprasial of performance employee . The phenomenon must be addressed as soon as possible because employees is one factor that can determine the company’s success. Reward and motivation became one of many ways to increase employees’ performance.
The research was conductid to determine the reward level at AJB Bumiputera, to determine the work motivation level at AJB Bumiputera, to determine the level of AJB Bumiputera employee performance and to determine the influence of the reward and work motivation on employee performance at AJB Bumiputera. The unit analysis of this research is AJB Bumiputera employees. The independent variable (X) in this research is reward and motivation, while the dependent variable (Y) is the performance of employees. The research type that is descriptive, verification, and the method used is explanatory survey, with saturated sampling technique and the number of respondents is 52 people. The analysis technique used in this research is the path analysis by using SPSS 21.0 software. The finding of this research is that rewards and work motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance to the level of 68%. From the study of hypothesis testing on rewards and work motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance either simultaneously or partially.
The author recommends that the company could have a way to further improve the rewards and work motivation for the improvement of the company’s performance
Akibat Hukum Penunggakan Premi Asuransi Beasiswa Berencana Di AJB Bumi Putera Pekanbaru Menurut Undang-undang Nomor 40 Tahun 2014
The insured takes an insurance product at AJB Bumiputera Pekanbaru, which is a planned scholarship insurance for 15 years by getting a sum insured of Rp. 10,000,000.00. Planned scholarship insurance is a product of AJB Bumiputera which provides study continuity funds to the children of policyholders. The problem that often occurs in insurance activities is that the insured is late in making premium payments. The insured is late in paying premiums due to financial ability. The insurance company as the party that bears the risk has provisions in determining the maturity date of premium payments. After the insurance contract ends, the insured gets the sum insured that is not fully paid because the insured receives a fine or interest which was not notified before the agreement and was not explained in the policy. As for the formulation of the problem from the research results, namely what are the legal consequences received by the insured on premium arrears that he did at AJB Bumiputera Pekanbaru and what are the rights and obligations of the insured when there is premium arrears. The type of research used is empirical by means of a survey, in which the author goes directly to the field to obtain the necessary data. The data sources used are primary data and sukender data. According to its nature, this research is descriptive to provide a detailed, clear, and systematic description of the problem under study. The data collection technique is done by using literature study, questionnaire and interview. The research objectives are to determine the legal consequences received by the insured for premium arrears and to find out the rights and obligations received at AJB Bumiputera Pekanbaru. The rights received by the insured from AJB Bumiputera after premium arrears are still being served properly in the process of filing a claim to get the sum insured after the insurance contract has ended and the insurer gives the sum insured to the insured even though it is not fully paid because it is subject to fines or interest. As for the insured's obligations, namely to pay premiums while the policy is still active, and if the insured is in arrears in premiums, the insured's obligation is to fulfill the requirements in filing claims and submit the policy to AJB Bumiputera as a sign that the insured's insurance policy is over. The legal consequence received by the insured after premium arrears is that if the insurance premium payment is more than the free period, the policy will be considered lapse and result in loss of the insured's claim rights from the insurer
Tinjauan Hukum Pelaksanaan Pencairan Klaim Asuransi Jiwa Mitra Proteksi Mandiri Pada AJB Bumiputera 1912 Kantor Cabang Sukaramai Wilayah Pekanbaru
Mitra Proteksi Mandiri is one of the products from AJB Bumiputera 1912 which is intended for customers by providing life protection as well as getting savings benefits. where the insured can make a cash value disbursement at any time if needed and can receive benefits from independent protection partner life insurance by submitting a claim. As a result of the end of the coverage period, the customer can file a claim for the right to fulfill the obligations specified in the policy. For companies that provide insurance services, they are obliged to handle claims and complaints with a fast process as stipulated in the applicable provisions. However, AJB Bumiputera as the insurer did not complete the disbursement of claim funds in accordance with the applicable provisions in Article 27 of the Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Number 442/KMK.06/2003 concerning the Implementation of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies. The main problem in this research is how the implementation of the disbursement of life insurance claims for independent protection partners at AJB Bumiputera 1912 Sukaramai Branch Office, Pekanbaru Region and what are the obstacles experienced by customers in the process of implementing the disbursement of life insurance claims for independent protection partners at AJB Bumiputera 1912 Sukaramai Regional Branch Office Pekanbaru. The author conducts research using observational research or empirical legal research by means of a survey, namely research carried out in the field to collect the required data by using data collection tools in the form of direct interviews with related parties. While the nature of this research is descriptive, namely to obtain a complete data by providing a structured, concrete, and accurate description. The results of the research that the author obtained are for the implementation of claim disbursement, customers who will submit claims can directly go to the insurance company office to get the sum assured by filling out a claim submission form and submit supporting documents as a condition for disbursement of claims, and then the insurance company will decide whether the claim can be disbursed or not within 14 working days. But in reality, the implementation of claim disbursement has not been resolved properly and the company does not comply with the policy rules which results in the disbursement of claims not being paid. As for the implementation of claim disbursement, there are obstacles, namely incomplete documents and submission requirements, customer dishonesty, not paying premiums within a predetermined period of time, and the existence of a claim payment period that takes a long time in the insurance claim disbursement process

Mekanisme pengelolaan dana Asuransi Haji dan Asuransi Dana Haji: Studi Komparasi pada PT Asuransi Syariah Mubarakah dan AJB Bumiputera 1912 unit Syariah Malang
ABSTRAK
Haji merupakan ibadah yang banyak menyedot tenaga. Hal itu terkait dengan berbagai kegiatan ibadah yang hampir semuanya memerlukan kekuatan fisik yang prima. Selanjutnya sesuai dengan peraturan yang ada, semua jamaah haji Indonesia akan dijamin risikonya oleh perusahaan asuransi, selama prosesi haji berlangsung sampai kepulangannya ke tanah air. Sedangkan asuransi dana haji merupakan produk perusahaan asuransi untuk membantu calaon-calon jamaah haji yang kesulitan dalam pelunasan biaya haji. Penulis melakukan penelitian pada PT Asuransi Syariah Mubarakah dan AJB Bumiputera 1912 Unit Syariah Malang dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan dana asuransi haji serta asuransi dana haji dan bagaimana komparasi pengelolaan dana keduanya pada kedua perusahaan asuransi syariah tersebut.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan komparatif. Data yang dikumpulkan merupakan data primer dan sekunder dengan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan metode analisis data deskriptif dengan pendekatan komparatif karena penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengkomparasikan mekanisme pengelolaan dana asuransi haji dan asuransi dana haji pada PT Asuransi Syariah Mubarakah dan AJB Bumiputera 1912 Unit Syariah Malang.
Dari hasil komparasi diperoleh bahwa secara umum mekanisme pengelolaan dana asuransi haji dan asuransi dana haji pada PT Asuransi Syariah Mubarakah dan AJB Bumiputera Syariah tergolong sama yaitu nasabah membayar premi ke perusahaan, kemudian dana premi yang terkumpul akan diinvestasikan oleh perusahaan dan keuntungan yang didapat akan di bagi hasil dengan nisbah 70% untuk nasabah dan 30% untuk perusahaan. Kemudian perbedaan mendasar pada kedua perusahaan asuransi syariah tersebut adalah dalam hal nominal pembayaran premi dan penerimaan dana santunan. Selain itu perbedaan selanjutnya adalah dalam hal investasi. PT Asuransi Syariah Mubarakah tidak menginvestasikan dana yang terkumpul pada obligasi syariah melainkan pada sektor-sektor riil seperti rumah sakit, usaha tekstil, pembiayaan dan lain-lain, hal ini dikarenakan perusahaan menginginkan bagi hasil pendapatan investasi secara terus menerus dan harta menjadi produktif. Sedangkan AJB Bumiputera 1912 Syariah mayoritas berinvestasi pada obligasi syariah dan sebagian kecil pada sektor lain, dikarenakan obligasi syariah mempunyai jumlah margin fee yang tetap dan jelas returnnya dan perusahaan memperoleh pengembalian yang utuh atas investasinya.
ABSTRACT
Hajj is a worship which has a lot of sucking power. This is related to various religious activities which almost require excellent physical strength. Subsequently, in accordance with existing regulations, all Indonesian pilgrims will be guaranteed by an insurance company risk, from procession of pilgrims until their return to homeland. Even though the hajj insurance is a product of insurance funds companies to help prospective pilgrims who had difficulty in repayment of the cost of the pilgrimage. The author conducted research at PT Asuransi Syariah Mubarakah and AJB Bumiputera 1912 Unit Syariah Malang to find out how the Hajj Insurance Fund Management and the Insurance Fund of Hajj and how the comparisons are from both fund managements at the both the Islamic insurance companies.
The method used in this study was a qualitative research with a comparative approach. Data collected were primary and secondary data using interview techniques and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research was descriptive data analysis because this study aimed to describe the Mechanism of Hajj Insurance Fund Management and the Insurance Fund of Hajj at PT Asuransi Syariah Mubarakah And AJB Bumiputera 1912 Unit Syariah Malang.
From the research, it can be obtained that particular comparison mechanism to manage the insurance fund and insurance fund hajj pilgrimage at PT Asuransi Syariah Mubarakah and AJB Bumiputera 1912 Unit Syariah is same as customers pay a premium to the company, then the premium funds collected will be invested by the company and a benefit will be in the results with revenue
70% to customers and 30% for the company. Then the fundamental difference in the two insurance companies in terms of Shariah is a nominal premium payment and receipt of compensation funds. Besides, the difference is in terms of further investment. PT Asuransi Syariah Mubarakah does not invest the funds collected on Shariah bonds but on the real sectors such as hospitals, textile business, finance and others, this is because the company wants profit-sharing investment income and wealth continues to be productive. Whereas the majority of the AJB Bumiputera 1912 Unit Syariah invests at Shariah bonds and invest in a small part
in other sectors, due to Islamic bonds have a total fixed fee margin and clear return and the company can obtain a full refund of their investment
