Get PDFThis study empirically aims to examine the influence of customer satisfaction and price on purchasing decisions at Aloha Café in Ambon City. A quantitative approach was employed, with the research population consisting of consumers who had previously made purchases at Aloha Café. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a purposive sampling technique, resulting in a total of 110 respondents. The collected data were analyzed through multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing, and the coefficient of determination (R²), with the assistance of SPSS version 26 software. The findings indicate that, partially, both customer satisfaction and price exert a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Aloha Café in Ambon Cit

Get PDFThe digital transformation has significantly shifted consumer behavior, with electronic word of mouth (eWOM), particularly in the form of short videos (vWOM), becoming a primary source of information influencing new product adoption decisions. This study aims to examine the influence of eWOM on the intention to adopt new products, with customer innovativeness as a mediating variable, in the context of the adventure tourism destination Cakadiditrip in Ambon City. Using a quantitative approach and Structural Equation Modeling (SmartPLS 4.0), the study involved 97 respondents who had been exposed to Cakadiditrip’s video content on social media. The results show that eWOM significantly influences both the intention to adopt new products and customer innovativeness, and that customer innovativeness mediates the relationship between eWOM and adoption intention. These findings highlight the strategic importance of digital content marketing that aligns with the innovative traits of target audiences. Practical implications suggest that businesses, especially in emerging tourism sectors, should optimize vWOM as a persuasive communication tool to accelerate market innovation adoption

Bestuurlijke manie bij prestigeprojecten: van maquette naar mislukking
Get PDFPrestigeprojecten bieden veel inzicht in de werking van het openbaar bestuur. Vooral prestigieuze stadsprojecten kunnen ons veel leren over wat we willen noemen: ‘bestuurlijke manie’. We signaleren bij dit soort projecten namelijk typische eigenschappen van bestuurlijke manie, te weten extreme uitgelatenheid, overdreven positief zelfbeeld, aanstekelijk enthousiasme, selectieve argumentatie, tunnelvisies en ongefundeerd vertrouwen in een goede afloop. Als gevolg van bestuurlijke manie lopen prestigieuze projecten het risico om uit de hand te lopen qua kosten en ook niet datgene op te leveren wat ervan wordt verwacht en beloofd. In dit artikel willen we het verschijnsel ‘bestuurlijke manie’ uitdiepen door onder andere de symptomen ervan te benoemen, de implicaties ervan aan te geven, de manische mechanismen te analyseren en ten slotte te bekijken hoe men zich tegen bestuurlijke manie kan wapenen.Urban Development Managemen

No full textThis article discusses the differences in the scholarly approaches of three major Indonesian tafsir scholars, namely Islah Gusmian, Ervan Nurtawab, and Jajang A. Rohmana, within the scope of Indonesian exegetical scholarship. As prominent figures in the field of Indonesian Qur'anic interpretation, these three scholars possess unique characteristics that are often overlooked by the current generation. By analyzing and extracting data from their works, as well as from other exegetical scholars, the author aims to identify the major themes, methods, and arguments constructed by them. This exploration is significant in revealing the scholarly substance of each figure. The argument in this article posits that a researcher’s approach is shaped not only by diverse social and educational backgrounds but also by distinct patterns that they develop in discussing and expanding Indonesian tafsir studies. This is evident in how each scholar positions themselves and formulates their viewpoint in understanding the tafsir audience. This paper is expected to contribute to the mapping of their works for future researchers and serve as a literature review for a more in-depth study of Indonesian Qur'anic interpretation
