    Human-Nature Relationships in Raja Ampat: How Tourism Development in Coastal Areas Affects Residents’ Local Wisdom and Social Wellbeing

    This article illustrates residents’ local wisdom and social well-being regarding tourism development in a coastal area. Tourism development is believed to cause various impacts in various aspects of residents’ life, such as economic, socio-cultural and environmental. This article will explain how those impacts, added to residents’ local wisdom, result in different perceptions from them. The research which was conducted for this article used qualitative methods, involving 18 informants in semi-structured interviews in Saporkren and Sawingrai, Raja Ampat. The research sought to elaborate the relationship between impacts, residents’ perceptions and their social well-being in the context of tourism development. The findings began with the categorisation of human-nature relationship eras, which are the ‘Before Trading Era’, the ‘Trading Era’ and the ‘Tourism Era’. It continued with analysis of factors behind residents’ perceptions and social well-being, for instance nature quality, local wisdom and tourism development itself

    PDAM Tirta Dharma Purabaya is a regional company responsible for providing clean water to the people of Madiun Regency. In an era of technological advancement, PDAM Tirta Dharma Purabaya is required to provide quality services. To date, PDAM Tirta Dharma Purabaya has not shown any improvement in the quality of service provided to the community. The proposed problem formulation: (1) How are innovations made by the Tirta Dharma Purabaya Regional Water Company (PDAM) in improving the quality of service to the people of Madiun Regency? (2) What are the obstacles faced by the Tirta Dharma Purabaya Regional Water Company (PDAM) of Madiun Regency in making these innovations. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the innovations provided by PDAM Tirta Dharma Purabaya in improving services to the people of Madiun Regency. n order to find out clear problems, the author uses the type of Description Research with a Qualitative Approach. Then for data processing, the author conducts several stages of analysis, namely Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawing. From the results of the analysis obtained by the author, that PDAM Tirta Dharma Purabaya has also innovated by digitizing payment and complaint services, MBR innovation, innovation in stunting families, and also innovation in bottled drinking water products "Yoiki" owned by the Madiun Regency area. But of all the innovations made, there are still several obstacles so that it has not run optimally, so with this there must be an increase again. This research was conducted by the author is to determine how much influence the compensation on employee motivation PDAM Tirta Musi Palembang. This research uses quantitative data analysis techniques. The research data was obtained from the respondents (questionnaire) in company PDAM Tirta Musi, in this case the primary data that is diteknik pemgambilan the data obtained from the company PDAM Tirta Musi. The statistical analysis used in this research is regression analysis and hypothesis testing using the program SPSS 16. The results of this study indicate that there are significant compensation to big motivation that can be seen from the results of the variable coefficients x of 56.4 percent, the presence of a considerable influence on employee motivation in the company PDAM Tirta Musi will certainly be able to improve progress for the company, can also be the prosperity of employees working with bonuses for their hard work on the profits earned by the company as compensation makes employee motivation increases and would make the company's productivity increased wel

In running the sales accounting system, the operations function should be separated from the accounting function. This is one way to safeguard the company's assets, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of accounting data. If a company has multiple functions, it will increase the occurrence of fraud committed by employees by changing accounting records and covering up fraud.     THE ROLE OF INTERNAL COMMUNICATION ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EMPLOYEES IN WATER REGIONAL COMPANIES DRINK (PDAM) TIRTA INDRAGIRI TEMBILAHAN BY : MUHAMMAD LATIF NPM : 175210409 This study aims to identify and analyze internal communications at the Tirta Indragiri Tembilahan Regional Drinking Water Company, and to determine and analyze the work effectiveness of employees at the Tirta Indragiri Tembilahan Drinking Water Company. The population in this study amounted to 122 employees at the Regional Water Company Tirta Indragiri Tembilahan. In determining the sample, the authors use a random sample selection technique (Simple Random Sampling) which then uses the Slovin formula to obtain a total sample of 55 employees. In analyzing the data, the author uses quantitative methods, then from the results of the study in a simple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS 23 program. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing that has been done, it can be concluded that overall there is a positive and significant influence between Internal Communication variables on the effectiveness of employees at the Regional Water Company Tirta Indragiri Tembilahan

    The Aim of this research is to know the influence of the quality of service on the customer satisfaction at PDAM Tirta Musi Unit Kalidoni Palembang.  Population of this research are all customer of PDAM Tirta Musi Unit Kalidoni Palembang in May 2012.  Sample of this research are 100 respondents, the author use simple random sampling technique for this research.  Data analysis used the method of interviews and questionnaires.  This research is using a simple regression analysis using two variables:  Service quality variables as dependent variables and customer satisfaction as independent variables.  Based on calculation using the program SPSS 17.0 version showed that the value of R Square affect customer satisfaction of 33,7%, which means 33,7% of customer satisfaction is influenced by the quality of service and the remaining 66,3% influenced by other factors.  Based on the results of this final report, the author suggest that PDAM Tirta Musi Unit Kalidoni Palembang should further enhance the service quality of its services in order to give more satisfaction to customers. Keywords: Costumers, Satisfaction, Services, Qualit

    The Tirta Plamboyan swimming pool tourist attraction which is located in Talang Dry Village, Air Napal District, North Bengkulu Regency is very likely to be developed with adequate resources, but this tourist attraction is not widely known to the outside community and is still lacking in terms of existing facilities. Therefore, the author takes the title "Strategy for the Development of the Tirta Plamboyan Swimming Pool Tourism Object, Talang Dry Village, Air Napal District, North Bengkulu Regency" the aim is to be able to find out what kind of development strategy is suitable for the Tirta Plamboyan swimming pool tourist attraction. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy of developing a tourism object for the Tirta Plamboyan swimming pool, Talang Dry Village, Air Napal District, North Bengkulu Regency with SWOT analysis. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques distributing questionnaires to respondents. The analytical method used is SWOT, namely Strengths , Weaknesses , Opportunities and Threats . The results of this study indicate that the Tirta Plamboyan swimming pool tourism object, Talang Dry Village, Air Napal District, North Bengkulu Regency is in quadrant II position. This shows that the strategy used is a diversification strategy . In addition, the results of the SWOT diagram using the ST strategy explain that the Tirta Plamboyan swimming pool tourist attraction is can maintain a cheap swimming pool ticket price from others, keep the swimming pool clean and create comfort in the swimming pool area, and approach the public not to think badly about the Tirta Plamboyan swimming pool
