The purpose of the research: In the article, the author examines the chronicle article of 6869 (1361) which tells about the struggle for Sarai among khans after the demise of Khidr-khan. The text of the chronicle report of 6869 is presented in different ways in Old-Russian chronicles. The article aims at revealing textual reliability of one of the most confusing places in the Old-Russian chronicling for the 14th–15th centuries – the description and the course of events for 1361 which have become described as a new phase of the events in the Ulus of Jochi, known as the “Great Troubles”. Research materials: The primary sources for this study were Old-Russian chronicles which focus closely on the described events, namely – the Rogozhsky and Simeonovskay Chronicles as well as the chronicles of the Novgorod-Sofia group. Important information was borrowed when referring to N.M. Karamzin’s comments on the «History of the Russian State», according to which, the lost Troitsk Chronicle is now being restored. Within the study, a number of other late chronicles are also involved in order to compare them textually with earlier ones. The results of the research and scientific novelty: Based on the results of the scrutinization of chronicles of the 15th–16th centuries, it can be stated that there are three primary versions of the related material, two of them being placed one after the other in the Rogozhsky Сhronicler. The author concludes that the first version of the chronicle tale belongs to the Troitsk Chronicle or an even earlier chronicle than “the Codex of 1408”. The second version of the text, which is placed only in the Rogozhsky Chronicler, belongs to a currently unknown source, while the third version goes back to the Novgorod-Sophia Codex, which in turn descends back to “the Codex of 1408”. Based on the chronicle evidence of the 15th – 16th centuries, the author concludes that Khidr-khan was killed by his son Timur-Khoja, and not by his brother Murad

AbstractThe results of the experimental and numerical studies of the dust filter with a short diffuser at various size of a filter element clogging are given in the paper. The connection between the value of the filter clogging and the growth of hydraulic losses in a flowing part of the filter is found, the emergence of this effect from the point of view of redistribution of velocities and vortex formation of a stream is proved. Satisfactory agreement between the calculated and the experimental results is obtained

Convents in the system of "balance of powers" in the Frankish kingdom (Teilreich) of the Merovingians

The relationship between the royal power and the church in the Frankish kingdom of the 6th century has been discussed. Special attention has been paid to the role played by convents in these interactions. The Frankish kingdom, or Teilreich, was a state formation, in which the church was endowed with the functions of secular power, and secular rulers sought to acquire the attributes of religious authority. Under the conditions of political instability, weak bureaucratization, and the broadest system of personal ties, women, including nuns, also appeared in social and political life. Therefore, the author concludes that monasteries, including convents, in the Frankish kingdom of the second half of the 6th century were not only the places of prayer and ascetic way of life, but, at the same time, the “places of power”. During the early Middle Ages, monasteries became important elements in the system of different socio-cultural and political interactions. Because of this, despite their isolation, convents became crucial in the life of urban settlements in this era, fulfilling not only spiritual, but also social, economic and political functions. Their spread in the Frankish kingdom contributed to the establishment of new social contacts and influenced the ways in which the power was realized

Conflicts in the convents of Poitiers and Tours (second half of the 6th century)

    No full text
The article discusses the causes of conflict situations in the convents of Poitiers and Tours. These incidents show that noble women of the Frankish Kingdom actively participated in the political events of the country during the second half of the 6th century. The motives that prompted Bishop Gregory of Tours to write about these events in his famous historical essay are revealed. The tendentiousness of the author, who created the images of the participants and described the course of the events based on his own goals and objectives, is noted. It is concluded that women of the Merovingian epoch could openly participate in various political events, including the use of violence. The involvement of nuns in uprisings and riots was not always assessed negatively by the contemporaries. When it was profitable, secular authorities supported the organizers of conflicts and even saved them from church punishment. The Church could also use the women’s rebellions to its advantage. Modern researchers must take into account the rhetoric of sources, as well as the motives and intentions of their authors. The causes of the uprisings were complex, with conflicts playing an important role in the struggle for political gain and influence between various branches of government

Shaft Sensor Based on Modeling Diagnostic Signs of Power Unit Defects

AbstractA perfection concept is proposed for automated control diagnostics systems used at power plants with application of shaft sensors. It is proposed a systematic approach to solve a number of practical problems related with safety and performance of power generating turbosets. Diagnostics of multi-rotor turboset technical condition are significantly improved due to “complete” set of shaft motion sensors, applied at both sides of each journal bearing. There have been given diagnostics signs of defects measured with shaft sensors and suggested some extra criteria of reliability of the shafting and supports. To illustrate the method let us compute correcting alignments of fragment of shafting.Using simplified 2-rotor 4-support turboset, it is shown that: corrective alignments of supports, recommended by manufacturers of turboset and generator, may be not sufficient to compensate misalignments of supports, caused by thermal deformations of turboset support system. Those corrective misalignments should be computed individually for each turboset, using real thermal deformations and real clearances of journal bearings

ETIOPATHENOGENIC BASES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PULMONARY HYPERTENSION AND CHRONIC HEART FAILURE IN PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE IN COMBINATION WITH ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION (literature review, observation of the authors) N. A. Matsegora, N.Yu. Мitasova Odessa National Medical University Abstract Research aim. To study epidemiological and general clinical features of patients with IHD in combination with AH, complicated with chronic heart failure (СHF 2А and 2B). Results of the research. Based on a review of the literature and the results of the authors' study, it is shown that CHF in patients with IHD in combination with AH is accompanied by pulmonary hypertension already at early stages of clinical development of CHF. We examined 120 patients with IHD in combination with AH at the age of 44 to 90 years (mean age 72.29 ± 1.66), the majority was men (86.7%), and this is because the studies were carried out in the cardiology department Military Medical Clinical Center of the Southern Region. Among the patients with CHF 2A studied, middle-aged people accounted for 20.4%, and for advanced and senile patients - 79.6%. More severe heart failure (CH 2B) was diagnosed mainly in declining and elderly patients (95.4%), which indicated a more severe character of the course of IHD and AH in this contingent. The leading risk factors for the formation of CH 2A and CH 2B in patients with IHD in combination with AH were: acute myocardial infarction (65.4%), chronic myocardial ischemia (angina pectoris) (34.6%), violations of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism (2 / 3 cases), the rate of hypodynamia (66%) and stressful events (35.8%). Data of subjective research showed that a leading clinical syndrome was a shortness of breath at small (CHF 2А) and insignificant (СНF 2B) physical activity, and also in a night-time, that accompanied by an unproductive cough. From data of review of literature, it is explained by the haemodynamic overload of small circle with the increase of pressure in a pulmonary artery and reflects the degree of heart failure. The edematous syndrome in the form of foot pathes to the level of the shins was registered in patients from CH 2A in 66.7%, and in CHF 2B - in 77.3% of cases, and in the latter had a significant density. In the study of blood pressure in patients with coronary artery disease in combination with AH, depending on the severity of heart failure, it was found that patients with CHF 2A AP were elevated, and in patients with CHF 2B (p 0.05) - normal or low, which coincides with the data of literature and is explained by a decrease in the fraction of the ejection of the left ventricle as a result of the development of heart failure against the background of pulmonary hypertension. Key words: pulmonary hypertension, ischemic heart disease in combination with arterial hypertension, chronic heart failure

Synthesis of urban real estate development processes

    No full text
The wave of new industrialization in the Russian Federation, associated with the restoration of a number of industries localized on the territory of the country, as well as the creation of production facilities of a new technological order, required a reassembly of financial and industrial policy and, accordingly, a conceptual rethinking of investment and construction processes. The great importance of cities in solving these problems is undeniable. The dangerous trends of the excessive growth of the service sector and the contraction of the production sector actually nullify the role of cities in solving the priority tasks of the country's development. It becomes obvious that there is a need for the recovery growth of the industrial real estate sector of cities. Despite the fact that the real estate sector is perhaps the most conservative element of the urban environment, that can become a brake on the new industrial wave. In order to prevent this situation, the investment and construction processes of urban development cannot be considered in isolation, they must be predicted, planned and implemented in a synthesized form. The author offers practice-oriented approaches to the synthesis of urban real estate development processes
