Metamorphic Petrology and Geochemistry Across the Grenville Province Southern Province Boundary, Dill Township, Sudbury
Title: Metamorphic Petrology and Geochemistry Across the Grenville Province Southern Province Boundary, Dill Township, Sudbury, Author: Teunis A.P. Kwak, Location: ThodeThe geology and geochemistry of an area in Dill
township, Sudbury, Ontario are studied in detail. Emphasis is placed
on the nature of the boundary between the two provinces and the geochemistry of a sequence of pelitic schists in the Grenville province. The boundary appears to be marked by a mylonite zone separating
pelitic schists containing andalusite-staurolite assemblages from kyanitesillimanite-staurolite ones. The pelitic schists in the Grenville province show a steep increase
in temperature and pressure extending from the lower almandine amphibolite
to the lower granulite facies. Electron microprobe, spectrographic and wet
chemical analyses were performed on kyanite , sillimanite, biolite, muscovite
and garnet and indicated many systematic changes of elemental distribution
coefficients with changing metamorphic grade.ThesisDoctor of Philosophy (PhD

Popular herb throughout the ages, dill packs flavor
Medical and dietetic students often co-author a column for the Daily Reflector under Dr. Kolasa's byline. The students research the topic a reader or patient has asked. Dr. Kolasa reviews their draft for technical accuracy, patient friendly language, people first language. She fact checks the study or other evidence-based reference the student provides. If a physician review is appropriate, Dr. Kolasa requests a colleague from ECU physicians to review the article. The final draft is submitted to the Reflector with the editor having the final say. The headline is written by the Reflector headline writer. The food and nutrition column has run weekly since 1987. Starting in 2020, in addition to the Daily Reflector, the article is published in daily and weekly papers owned by the Adams Publishing Group East (https://adamspg.com).This is a weekly Q and A newspaper column under the byline of Dr. Kathy Kolasa. The importance of today's column is to provide information to readers about dill weed, which is a popular herb that has been utilized for ages. Dill weed has many uses and for those unfamiliar with this herb and how to use it, today's column highlights why it is referred to as a "good herb".Non
The contemporary Brazilian narrative proposes several challenges with regard to its analysis. Among them, the reverberation of the market context in the production of youth works stands out. In this context, the present thesis analyzes, interprets and categorizes the configurations of the literary project of the writer Luís Dill (1965) in the intersection of art and cultural industry, trying to understand how is constituted the symbolic capital that corresponds to the youth literature produced by the writter. The research is from a bibliographic perspective, with a corpus of 31 works submitted to the grid of literary analysis developed by Ceccantini (2000), having constituted the methodological basis for formulating the first categories of analysis of the aesthetics of the gaucho writer. The concepts of Candido (1980), Bourdieu (1996), Cruvinel (2009), Villa-Forte (2019), Benjamin (2000), Eco (2001), Borelli (1996), Pellegrini (1999) among other scholars of the area, were our theoretical support for examining the relationship between writer, market, work and reader. In the face of these reflections, it became evident that Dill is an author who was formed and forms himself as the market interferes, since he is a writer able to maintain a harmonious and significant relationship with the publishing market. The gaucho is able to make the rules of the art game, corresponding not just for the desired aspects by the market and by the public, but to his own, as a writer engaged in training readers and producing quality literature. In addition, we conceptualize the direct dialogue that Dill does with classic texts and the integration of the language of social and cinematic networks in the structure of the literary text. Such aspects work as modifiers of the structure of the youth novel, which led us to question and reflect on the genre unity and how it shapes itself to meet the expectations of the public. Therefore, the literary project of Luís Dill presents itself as multidimensional, since it integrates multiple languages to signify and enhance the structure of the text and the enjoyment of the reader. Dill is configured as a writer of our time, with a sensitive eye to appropriate what is contemporary, emphasizing aesthetic and social values in the set of his worksLa narrativa brasileña contemporánea plantea varios desafíos en cuanto a su análisis.
This thesis is linked to the investigations of the Research Line “Literature: creative writing, translation and teaching” of the Postgraduate Program in Literature at the Federal University of Espírito Santo, integrating the dialogues of the Research Group “Literature and Education” of the same institution. With a qualitative approach and bibliographic-documentary character, this study aimed to investigate the different faces of violence in the youth literature of the Gaucho author Luís Dill. For this, three works were selected that make up the main corpus of analysis: The night of the emeralds (1997), The day in which Luca did not return (2009) and 100 thousand followers (2019), each representing a different decade of the writer's literary production. The analysis and interpretation of the presence of different forms of violence in the selected works were based on theoretical studies on the subject, such as those by Yves Michaud, Slavoj Žižek, Byung-Chul Han and Marilena Chauí, among other researchers. Furthermore, the work dialogued with research on contemporary Brazilian literature, from authors such as Karl Erik Schøllhammer, Tânia Pellegrini and Jaime Ginzburg, and investigations on Brazilian youth narrative, with contributions from João Luís Ceccantini and Alice Áurea Penteado Martha, among others. The analyzes indicated a progression in the forms and manifestations of violence in Luís Dill's narratives, reflecting the current political-economic system in contemporary times. Through his texts, the author constructs a credible reality, based on the historical and social conditions of the objective world, at the same time as he carries out a scathing critique of the modus operandi of capitalist society.
