Substrate effect on the growth of iron clusters in Y zeolite
Investigation of the decomposition process and of the thermolytic products obtained from Fe(CO)5/faujasite adducts by thermogravimetric, IR-spectroscopic, Mössbauer spectroscopic and X-ray absorption measurements (EXAFS) provides evidence for a substrate effect on the growth process of iron clusters. CsY substrate increases the Fe---CO bond strength. The stabilized intermediates generated by this effect upon thermolysis at 500 K are easily oxidized to small iron(III) oxide clusters, whereas with NaY substrate to a large extent iron(O) particles are generated. The latter show Mössbauer effect and EXAFS spectra comparable to those obtained from bulk iron. An inner oxidation process is assumed to be involved in the generation of the zeolite-supported iron oxide
Photolytic and thermolytic decomposition products from iron pentacarbonyl adsorbed on Y zeolite
Zeolite supported iron systems obtained by photolysis and thermolysis of Fe(CO)5/Na---Y adducts are characterized via evaluation of the respective magnetic isotherms taken with a FONER magnetometer at T = 4.2 K. Thermolysis under fast heating in inert gas and under fluidized shallow bed conditions completes within a few minutes at not, vert, similar 500 K, and gives iron clusters of which at least 70 to 90 wt% is smaller than 1 nm. Prolonged photolysis at 290 K in the same fluidized bed conditions does not result in the formation of ‘naked’ iron(O) clusters, but gives a limited fraction of magnetically coupled Fex(CO)y entities. Photodimerization cannot be excluded to be the main reaction path
Preparation of iron(0) model catalysts with iron clusters of sub-nm dimensions by decomposition of Y-zeolite adsorbed iron pentacarbonyl
Digital Philology: : New Thoughts on Old Questions
This collection gathers the essays by eight scholars from disparate areas of textual criticism, addressing a general main topic, that is philology and digital humanities, and dealing with old and new-Lachmannian approaches, anti-Lachmannian responses, treatments of varia lectio, stemmatology, qualitative and quantitative methods of textual inquiry, and the establishment of standards for digital scholarly editions. The investigated data sets comprise canonical ancient traditions (Paolo Monella), Byzantine scriptural Greek (Barbara Crostini), the dawn of vernacular literacy, with Old Saxon (Marina Buzzoni), the still variable poetic and narrative corpora from the 12th century onwards (Thomas Bein, Anna Cappellotto), French and German epics (Luca Cadioli, Adele Cipolla), the reassessment of neo-Lachmannian procedures to Old French vernacular traditions, as that of the Bédierian Lai de l’ombre (Paolo Trovato). Every author dealt with a given issue from his or her own field of study, searching for and testing the performance of specific digital solutions. All of them touched on and suggested answers to often quite old but still sensitive critical issues

The aim of this master thesis was to explore and present the problem of identification of a postmodern character in the novel „Reisende auf einem Bein“. Stuart Halls ideas are analysed through the thesis and they are explored in connection to the novel. The thesis also explores autobiographical elements, style and the language of the novel. The conclusion shows that Irene is a postmodern subject, whose traumatic experiences have left consequences on her psyche. The novel serves as a story of Irene's mental condition, as she seeks a new life. The postmodern subject is fragmented and torn apart, just like Irene's perception of the world and her interaction with other characters. The author does it in such a way that she explores her own identity, considering the fact that her's and Irene's life have similarities. Through the novel both Irene and the readers are in search of her identity, as Irene is going through the postmodern world, hoping to find healing of her psyche. The speed of the globalized world does not allow that healing and her identity remains fragmented as a part of the postmodern reality.
Agglomeration mechanism during the preparation of nickel(0) and iron(0) zeolites
Magnetization measurements have been used to study the reduction process of Ni - zeolites and the thermal decomposition of
iron pentacarbonyl adsorbed on NaY zeolites . The Ni(0) particle size distribution in H2»reduced NiNaA, Ni NaX, Ni NaY and
NiNaM is bidisperse. The amount and the volume of particles
exceeding the cage dimensions increases in the sequence Μ,Υ,Χ,Α
zeolites. Particle fusion is found to be the rate determining
step. With decomposition of Fe(C0)5/NaY adducts, up to 97 wt.%
of the iron particles produced are smaller than 1.3 nm. Fluidized
sample bed, inert gas atmosphere and fast heating up to
440 Κ are essential to reach mononodal dispersion
