Bodenhydrologische Monitoringdaten charakteristischer Böden in Unterfranken 2018 bis 2024
Das Dataset enthält Bodenfeuchtedaten und Bodentemperaturen von sechs Standorten Unterfrankens für den Zeitraum von 2018 bis 2024, die für ihre jeweiligen Naturräume und hinsichtlich ihrer anthropogenen Nutzung charakteristisch sind. An vier Standorten wurden zusätzlich auch meteorologische Parameter erfasst. Die Daten liegen in Zeitschritten von 15 Minuten vor. Die Bodenfeuchte wurde als volumetrischer Wassergehalt (volumetric water content, VWC %) in zwei bis drei Bodenprofilen pro Standort in unterschiedlichen Tiefen gemessen. Als Bodenfeuchte- und Bodentemperatursensoren wurden Meter 10HS und Meter 5TM Sensoren eingesetzt. Die meteorologischen Parameter wurden mit Pessl iMetos 2 und iMetos 3.3 Stationen erfasst.
Die Messstationen befinden sich in einem Rigosol auf Buntsandstein in einem Weinberg bei Bürgstadt (Odenwald) sowie auf einer Parabraunerde im Lössgebiet bei Herchsheim (Ochsenfurter Gau) unter Ackernutzung. Am Übergang von Muschelkalk in Keuper befinden sich die Stationen in Obbach (Wern-Lauer-Platte), wo eine Braunerde unter Ackernutzung vorliegt und im Forst des Universitätswalds Sailershausen (Hesselbacher Waldland) werden die Untersuchungen in einer Braunerde-Terra fusca durchgeführt. Im Forst befinden sich auch die Stationen in Oberrimbach (Steigerwald) mit Braunerden aus Sandsteinkeuper und in Willmars (Rhön) mit Braunerden aus Buntsandstein. In den Messzeitraum fiel die dreijährige Dürre von 2018 bis 2020, das Jahr 2021 mit einem durchschnittlichen Witterungsverlauf und das Dürrejahr 2022.
Das Langzeitmonitoring wurde im Rahmen der zur Dissertation „Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf charakteristische Böden in Unterfranken unter Berücksichtigung bodenhydrologischer Monitoringdaten (2018 bis 2022)“ von Julian Krause durchgeführt. Begleitend wurden umfangreichen Gelände- und Laboranalysen der grundlegenden bodenkundlichen Parameter der Bodenprofile und der Standorte durchgeführt.
Das Dataset wurde im Rahmen des EU-EFRE-Projekts „BigData@Geo“ und des BMBF-Projekts „REKLINEU“ generiert.The dataset contains data on soil moisture and soil temperature of six locations in Lower Franconia that are characteristic of their respective natural areas and their anthropogenic use for the time period of 2018 to 2024. In addition meteorological parameters were recorded at four locations. The data is available in time steps of 15 minutes. Soil moisture was measured as volumetric water content (VWC %) in two to three soil profiles per site at different depths. Meter 10 HS and meter 5TM sensors were used as soil moisture and soil temperature sensors. The meteorological parameters were recorded using Pessl iMetos 2 and iMetos 3.3 stations.
The measuring stations are located in Regic Anthrosols on red sandstone in a vineyard near Bürgstadt (Odenwald) and on Luvisols in the loess area near Herchsheim (Ochsenfurter Gau) under arable land use. At the transition from Muschelkalk to Keuper, the stations are located in Obbach (Wern-Lauer-Platte), where Cambisols under arable use are present, and in the forest of the Sailershausen university forest (Hesselbacher Waldland), the investigations are carried out in Calcic Luvisols. In the forest there are also the stations in Oberrimbach (Steigerwald) with Cambisols from sandstone-Keuper and in Willmars (Rhön) with Cambisols from red sandstone. The observation period included the three-year drought from 2018 to 2020, the year 2021 with an average weather pattern and the drought year 2022.
The long-term monitoring was carried out as part of the dissertation “Impact of climate change on characteristic soils in Lower Franconia with consideration of soil hydrological monitoring data (2018 to 2022)” by Julian Krause. This was accompanied by extensive field and laboratory analyses of the basic pedological parameters of the soil profiles and the sites.

Das Dataset enthält Bodenkohlenstoffdaten des Universitätswalds Sailershausen. Die Daten wurden 2024 in einem 400 m mal 400 m Raster erhoben. Das Beprobungsraster wurde über die bestehenden Forstinventurpunkte des Forstbetriebs gelegt, um eine Folgebeprobung zu vereinfachen. Die Bodenkohlenstoffbeprobung erfolgte in drei Tiefenstufen (0-5 cm, 5-10 cm und 10-30 cm), analog zur Bodenzustandserhebung Wald BZE III. Die Profilansprache erfolgte nach der Bodenkundlichen Kartieranleitung KA 5. Die Laboranalysen wurden mit einem Elementar SoliTOC Cube durchgeführt. Folgende Parameter wurden erhoben: CN-Analyse (TIC, TOC, CN-Verhältnis, TC, ROC), Skelettanteil, Bodengefüge, Bodentyp.
Der Universitätswald Sailershausen ist der Forstbetrieb der Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. Der Forstbetrieb umfasst eine Fläche von 2346,4 ha, wobei sich der größere Teil nordwestlich von Haßfurt um das Dorf Sailershausen und ein kleinerer Teil südlich des Mains um das Gut Mariaburghausen befindet. Das Untersuchungsgebiet befindet sich in den Naturräumen „Hesselbacher Waldland“ und „Steigerwaldvorland“. Morphologisch ist es durch das Tal der Wässernach geprägt. Der Universitätswald Sailershausen befindet sich geologisch im Übergangsbereich von Oberem Muschelkalk (mo) zu Unterem Keuper (ku) und ist durch zahlreiche kleinräumige geologische Wechsel geprägt. Die dominierenden Bodentypen sind auf Oberem Muschelkalk Braunerde-Terra fusca, Pararendzinen und Braunerde-Pararendzinen. Bei Lössauflagen finden sich Braunerden und Parabraunerden. Über Unterem Keuper finden sich vorwiegend Braunerden, untergeordnet auch Parabraunerden. Pseudovergleyte Subtypen treten flächig auf.

The data was collected in 2024 using a 400 m by 400 m grid. The sampling grid was superimposed on the existing forest inventory points of the forestry operation in order to simplify follow-up sampling. Soil carbon sampling was carried out at three depth levels (0-5 cm, 5-10 cm, and 10-30 cm), analogous to the BZE III forest soil condition survey. The profile was assessed in accordance with soil mapping guideline KA 5. Laboratory analyses were performed using an Elementar SoliTOC Cube. The following parameters were recorded: CN analysis (TIC, TOC, CN ratio, TC, ROC), skeleton content, soil structure, soil type.
The Sailershausen University Forest is the forestry operation of Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg. The forestry operation covers an area of 2,346.4 hectares, with the larger part located northwest of Haßfurt around the village of Sailershausen and a smaller part south of the Main River around the Mariaburghausen estate. The study area is located in the “Hesselbacher Waldland” and “Steigerwaldvorland” natural areas. Morphologically, it is characterized by the Wässernach valley. Geologically, the Sailershausen University Forest is located in the transition zone between the Upper Muschelkalk (mo) and Lower Keuper (ku) and is characterized by numerous small-scale geological changes. The dominant soil types above Upper Muschelkalk are Calcic Luvisols, and Calcaric Regosols. Cambisols and Calcic Luvisols are found on loess deposits. Lower Keuper is predominantly covered by Cambisols, with Calcic Luvisols also occurring to a lesser extent. Gleyic subtypes occur over large areas.

From micromorphology to palaeoenvironment: The MIS 10 to MIS 5 record in Paudorf (Lower Austria)
The loess-palaeosol sequence (LPS) in Paudorf, Lower Austria is characterised by varying dust sedimentation rates, re-deposition with admixture of local rock fragments, erosion and pedogenic overprinting. Detailed semi-quantitative micromorphological analyses reveal the complex genesis of the palaeosols/pedocomplexes and the palaeoenvironmental conditions present during their formation. Our genetic model of landscape formation is underpinned with luminescence (post-IR IRSL) ages; the resulting chronological framework indicates that the basal loess sediment was deposited during marine isotope stage (MIS) 10. The overlying lower pedocomplex experienced a complex genesis in a forest-steppe environment during MIS 9. In the sandloess sediment of MIS 8 a (forest-)steppe palaeosol (MIS 7) developed. The overlying MIS 6 loess sediment shows several intercalated Cryosols. The upper pedocomplex is a Chernozem (MIS 5c[-a?]) developed in a mixture of re-deposited Cambisol (attributed to MIS 5e), dust and local material. This study shows that the palaeoclimatic conditions in the study region were comparable to those of Central Europe during the last two glacial periods, whereas the conditions were more comparable to the Pannonian Basin climate during the last three interglacials. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
