'Liang zhou ci ' and 'Liang zhou qu' Domestication of borderland music in the Tang dynasty
In this article, I aimed to study the music of Liang zhou (涼州) described in the poetry during the Tang dynasty. The changes of the description of borderland music should reflect the relationship between Tang dynasty and Tu fan (吐蕃). The 'Liang zhou ci (涼州詞)' described in the high Tang period differ from that of the middle Tang. The 'Liang zhou ci (涼州詞)' in the high Tang was described in the traditional way, such as yue fu of the Southern Dynasties Period. But, since the middle Tang, the poets began to use 'Liang zhou ci (涼州詞)' to describe the real circumstances of Liang zhou. On the other hand, 'Liang zhou qu (涼州曲)' descended from Liang zhou in the Kai yuan (開元) period was spread among the Chinese people. After the Tian bao (天寶) period, 'Liang zhou qu (涼州曲)' came to be considered Chinese music. For instance, the pitch of 'Liang zhou qu (涼州曲)' was changed by musicians in the Tang dynasty. Moreover, stories about the Emperor Xuan zong (玄宗) were added. 'Liang zhou qu (涼州曲)' was appreciated as a traditional Chinese music. Especially, since the middle Tang, 'Liang zhou qu (涼州曲)' had another name 'Liang zhou qu (梁州曲)'. It proves that a marginal music took root among the Chinese people

On the Theatricality of the Ci-Poetry in Tang and Song Dynasties
Ci-poetry and drama are both genres of musical literature and the theatricality of the ci-poetry is demonstrated from many different aspects, such as the first-person narration, the emotional lyrics with unique features, the musical dialogues between two people or among many people, the dramatic conflict presented in the lyrics, the dramatic actions and the dramatic situations, etc. There are all kinds of plays in the ci-poetry, namely the serious drama, the comedy, the tragedy, the comedy with tears, the fantasy and the allegorical play. The ci-poetry of the Tang and Song dynasties exerted great influence on drama and on the other hand, the army-joining drama of the Tang dynasty and the miscellaneous drama of the Song dynasty to some extent inspired the creation of ci-poetry. The relationship between ci-poetry and drama confirms the mutual infiltration and cross reference among different literary genres in the Song dynasty.</jats:p
A Comparison of the Image of "Wushan Yunyu" in Tang Poems and Song Ci-poems
"巫山云雨"意象在唐诗与宋词中有着不同的表现,相关的词汇在宋词中出现频率比唐诗有所增多。唐诗中"巫山云雨"含义丰富,用法灵活,不似宋词里全关风月,这是由于世风及诗词的不同地位所决定。唐诗宋词中的"巫山云雨"意象常与相关或相近意象一起组成意象群。The image of "Wushan Yunyu"has different features in the poems of the Tang Dynasty and in the ci-poems of the Song Dynasty, and there are more words related to the image in Song ci-poems than in Tang poems. The image in Tang poems is more implicative and agile while that in Song ci-poems all related to sexual intercourses, the reasons of which link to public morals and different status of the poetry. These complicated and duplicated images in Tang poems and Song ci-poems make up a kind of dreary and hazy atmosphere
