    The study examines the impact caused by the Alzheimer’s Disease on the family system. It considers not only the relationship between the patient and the principal caregiver, but the intergenerational organization as a whole. It is a qualitative research conducted by the symbolic-relational approach: its aims is to underline the relationship between the family organization form and the effects of caregiving process. The results find four format of family space and time which are related to different perception of pathology and to different family dynamics. Moreover they distinguish specific modalities of exchange between the families and the social and health services and the effects of caregiving process

    The contribution proposes a reflection on the aging process, with particular reference to the importance assumed by the active involvement of older people in family relationships. We present preliminary results of a survey conducted in two provinces of northern Italy on a sample of active seniors to verify stress’s and adaptive factors that affect in a more consistent levels well-being and quality of life. Respondents express very high levels of personal satisfaction and is found a partial but positive contribution of involvement in family work to promoting the elderly’s quality of life

    Psychological research, clinical and psychosocial, on the couple's relationship has found a growing interest in recent decades and has produced consolidated acquisitions about the specific object of study. This specificity is manifested through the development and use of special constructs needed to produce un'operazionalizzazione empirical concept of relationship and / or torque, and the corresponding tools of investigation and evaluation.
