Observation of hc radiative decay hc › ??' and evidence for hc › ??
Kolcu, Onur Buğra (Arel Author) --- Makale 69 yazarlıdır.A search for radiative decays of the P-wave spin singlet charmonium resonance hc is performed based on 4.48 × 108 ? events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring. Events of the reaction channels hc › ??' and ?? are observed with a statistical significance of 8.4? and 4.0?, respectively, for the first time. The branching fractions of hc › ??' and hc › ?? are measured to be B(hc › ??' ) = (1.52±0.27±0.29)×10-3 and B(hc › ??) = (4.7±1.5±1.4)×10-4 , respectively, where the first errors are statistical and the second are systematic uncertainties
Brändin vetovoiman parantaminen modernin markkinoinnin keinojen avulla : Case HC Ässät Pori Oy
Opinnäytetyössä keskityttiin löytämään kehitysideoita toimeksiantajan markkinoinnin tehostamiseksi. Toimeksiantajan haasteet liittyvät nuorten aikuisten mielenkiinnon parantamisen tarpeeseen, osallistumisaktiivisuuteen ja sitoutumiseen. Opinnäytetyön toimeksiantajana toimi HC Ässät Pori Oy, jonka edustajana SM-liigajoukkue Ässät toimii. Tutkimuksesta saadut tulokset annettiin toimeksiantajalle hyödynnettäviksi.
Tutkimuksen teoreettinen osuus alkoi perehtymisellä brändiin ja sitten syvennyttiin markkinointiin sekä markkinointiviestintään, ostokäyttäytymiseen ja asiakasuskollisuuteen. Teoriaosassa käytiin läpi myös modernin markkinoinnin käsitettä sekä siihen liittyviä trendejä, joita halutaan hyödyntää markkinoinnissa. Opinnäytetyön tutkimusmenetelmänä oli laadullinen sekä määrällinen tutkimus. Tutkimus toteutettiin kolmen fokusryhmähaastattelun, verkkokyselyn sekä benchmarking -vertailuanalyysin muodossa. Opinnäytetyön kohderyhmänä toimi Z-sukupolven edustajat eli 18–26-vuotiaat nuoret aikuiset, jotka olivat joko Porista pois muuttaneita, Porissa aina asuneita porilaisia tai Poriin muuttaneita.
Tuloksista selviää, että nuoret aikuiset ovat idearikkaita ja haluavat olla rakentamassa Ässien tulevaisuutta vetovoimaisempaan suuntaan. Nuoret aikuiset käyttävät sosiaalista mediaa ja he osaavat myös vaatia brändeiltä viihdyttävää sisältöä. Ässien sosiaaliseen mediaan tarvitaan laadukkaampaa ja mielenkiintoisempaa sisältöä, jossa hyödynnetään modernin markkinoinnin keinoja tehokkuuden parantamiseksi. Tuloksista selviää, että demografiset tekijät vaikuttavat sitoutumisen halukkuuteen tietyllä tasolla. Tutkimus tuotti hyviä kehitysideoita Ässien markkinointiin
Predispersed solvent extraction of negatively complexed copper from water using colloidal liquid aphron containing a quaternary ammonium salt
Negatively complexed copper ion by complexing agent Re EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacteic acid) was removed by predispered solvent extraction (PDSE) using colloidal liquid aphrons (CLAs) made out of Trioctylmetylammonium chloride (Aliquat 336) diluted with nonpolar kerosene. PDSE was found to have higher mass transfer rate than conventional solvent extraction under experimental conditions without mechanical mixing. The effect of type of water-soluble surfactants, phase volume ratio (PVR), concentration of anionic Sodium Dodecyl Benzene Sulfonate (SDBS) on PDSE was investigated. In addition, the effect of anionic SDBS on back extraction in PDSE was also studied. Under experimental conditions with enough mechanical mixing, the amount of copper transferred to Aliquat 336 core from the pregnant phase was compared in both PDSE by using anionic SDBS and conventional solvent extraction. It is concluded that PDSE using Aliquat 336 CLA can be used for treatment of negatively complexed copper without the influence of surfactant. To optimize CLAs-based process, stability of CLAs containing a quaternary ammonium salt Aliquat 336 diluted with kerosene in the continuous phase was investigated by measuring the volume released to surface. To destabilize CLAs, H+, OH- were added. Stability of CLAs was estimated by comparing the half-life obtained. Break-up of destabilization follows pseudo-first-order reaction kinetics at low ionic strength. But, pseudo-first-order model cannot be applied to a region of high ionic strength

Teorētiskajā daļā apskatīti finanšu analīzes teorētiskie aspekti. Praktiskajā daļā autore veica uzņēmuma SIA HC Betons finanšu analīzi par 2009., 2010., un 2011.gadu. Analītiskajā daļā autore salīdzina rādītājus ar konkurējošo uzņēmumu SIA Cemex.
Autore secinājusi, ka uzņēmumam ir finansiālas grūtības, bet pēc autores domām, uzņēmums tuvāko gadu laikā nebankrotēs.

The aim of the diploma paper is to evaluate company’s HC Betons Ltd current financial situation based on financial analysis and make suggestions for improvement of the financial position.
Theoretical aspects of financial analysis are discussed in the theoretical part of the paper. In the practical part author has performed company’s HC Betons Ltd financial analysis of the years 2009, 2010 and 2011. In the analytical part author compares ratios of a competing company Cemex Ltd.
The author concludes that the company is in financial difficulties, but according to the author’s thoughts, the company will not bankrupt in the coming years.

Metabolic profiling and population screening of analgesic usage in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy-based large-scale epidemiologic studies
The application of a 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy-based screening method for determining the use of two widely available analgesics (acetaminophen and ibuprofen) in epidemiologic studies has been investigated. We used samples and data from the cross-sectional INTERMAP Study involving participants from Japan (n = 1145), China (n = 839), U.K. (n = 501), and the U.S. (n = 2195). An orthogonal projection to latent structures discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) algorithm with an incorporated Monte Carlo resampling function was applied to the NMR data set to determine which spectra contained analgesic metabolites. OPLS-DA preprocessing parameters (normalization, bin width, scaling, and input parameters) were assessed systematically to identify an optimal acetaminophen prediction model. Subsets of INTERMAP spectra were examined to verify and validate the presence/absence of acetaminophen/ibuprofen based on known chemical shift and coupling patterns. The optimized and validated acetaminophen model correctly predicted 98.2%, and the ibuprofen model correctly predicted 99.0% of the urine specimens containing these drug metabolites. The acetaminophen and ibuprofen models were subsequently used to predict the presence/absence of these drug metabolites for the remaining INTERMAP specimens. The acetaminophen model identified 415 out of 8436 spectra as containing acetaminophen metabolite signals while the ibuprofen model identified 245 out of 8604 spectra as containing ibuprofen metabolite signals from the global data set after excluding samples used to construct the prediction models. The NMR-based metabolic screening strategy provides a new objective approach for evaluation of self-reported medication data and is extendable to other aspects of population xenometabolome profiling
Nickel-Catalyzed, Cascade Cycloadditions of 1-Ethynyl-8-halonaphthalenes with Nitriles: Synthesis, Structure, and Physical Properties of New Pyrroloarenes
[[abstract]]The reaction of 1-ethynyl-8-halonaphthalenes 1 with nitriles in the presence of the catalytic system [NiBr2(dppe)]/Zn (dppe=1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane) is found to produce unusual pyrroloarenes 2. The carbon nitrogen triple bond in nitrile is activated twice, and five new bonds are formed in a one-pot transformation, which causes a pyrrole and two six-membered rings to be generated simultaneously. The scope and limitations of this reaction are examined. Similarly, alkyl-bridged diynes also furnish the corresponding polycycles. Diaryl-substituted cycloadducts 2 (R-1 = Ar) are fluxional, because of the restriction in rotation of the aryl groups. The rotational barrier is studied by performing H-1 NMR experiments at various temperatures. The structures of several compounds are determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis. The photophysical and electrochemical properties of the pyrroloarenes are also investigated.[[note]]SC
