Time-like graphical models
No full textThe author studies continuous processes indexed by a special family of graphs. Processes indexed by vertices of graphs are known as probabilistic graphical models. In 2011, Burdzy and Pal proposed a continuous version of graphical models indexed by graphs with an embedded time structure-- so-called time-like graphs. The author extends the notion of time-like graphs and finds properties of processes indexed by them. In particular, the author solves the conjecture of uniqueness of the distribution for the process indexed by graphs with infinite number of vertices. The author provides a new result showing the stochastic heat equation as a limit of the sequence of natural Brownian motions on time-like graphs. In addition, the author's treatment of time-like graphical models reveals connections to Markov random fields, martingales indexed by directed sets and branching Markov processes
Iconography, Metrology and Inscriptions on Bosnian Coins Minted between 1428 and 1443 (money of King Tvrtko II Tvrtković)
No full textU radu se, nakon razmatranja okolnosti u kojima je aktivirana kovnica, analizira ikonografija, metrologija i grafija bosanskoga novca kovanog između 1428. i 1443. godine. Bosanski je kralj Tvrtko II. Tvrtković napustio ikonografski standard prethodnoga razdoblja. Analizira se promjena aversnoga prikaza koji je Tvrtko II. proveo. Stavio je cjeloviti grb s krunom i monogramom na štit kao središnji dio. Time je likovno aktivirao koncept Svete krune koji je kao sacra nostra corona prethodno izrazio u sfragističkoj i diplomatičkoj građi. Upozoreno je na sveobuhvatnost Tvrtkove novčane reforme. Ona je izražena i napuštanjem sterlinškoga i kelnskoga monetarnog sustava prethodnika te usvajanjem težinske stope zasnovane na osmanskoj akči deriviranoj iz perzijskoga i rimskog (bizantskog) standarda. U radu je provedena nova klasifikacija Tvrtkova novca i na temelju nje definirana periodizacija i redoslijed kovanja vrsta svih triju nominalnih vrijednosti.The author begins by examining the circumstances under which the mint was activated and then analyses the iconography, metrology and inscriptions on Bosnian coins minted between 1428 and 1443. King Tvrtko II Tvrtković of Bosnia rejected the iconographic standards of the previous period. The author analyses the changed obverse of the coins introduced by Tvrtko II, which show the entire coat-of-arms with the crown and monogram on the shield, as the central part of the image. In this way Tvrtko activated the concept of the Holy Crown which he had, as sacra nostra corona, previously used in sphragistic and diplomatic material. Attention focuses on Tvrtko's sweeping monetary reform, in which he deserted the sterling and Cologne currency standard of his predecessors and adopted a standard based on the Ottoman akçe derived from the Persian and Roman (Byzantine) standard. The article gives a new classification of Tvrtko's coins and with its help defines the periodisation and minting order of all the three nominal values

No full textThe article begins by examining the credibility of the coats-of-arms of the Tvrtković and Kotromanić families in the Fojnica Armorial Roll, and concludes that they are properly shown. The author then analyses the arms of all the Bosnian kings and the historical circumstances of that time, concluding that only Tvrtko I could have minted the Bosnian royal gold coin. He gives an integral interpretation of the heraldic elements on the coin. After that he analyses all the sources about Tvrtko’s coronation and concludes that Tvrtko had a double coronation, first in Mileševa in Bosnia and then in Mileševa in Raška. After that the author shows what Tvrtko imported from Raška to Bosnia, researches the coronations dates and places, and both the coronators. In connection with this he writes about the Church of Bosnia, its hierarchy, continuity, history and importance.Na početku rada prvo se provjeravala vjerodostojnost grbova Tvrtkovića i Kotromanića u Fojničkom grbovniku te se zaključuje da su prikazani istinito. Zatim su se analizirali grbovi svih bosanskih kraljeva i povijesne prilike toga doba te se zaključilo da je bosanski kraljevski zlatnik mogao dati kovati samo Tvrtko I. Nakon toga cjelovito su se tumačili heraldički elementi toga zlatnika. Zatim su se analizirali svi izvori u vezi s Tvrtkovom krunidbom te se zaključilo da se Tvrtko dva puta krunio, prvo u Mileševu u Bosni, a zatim u Mileševu u Raškoj. Nakon toga analiziralo se što je sve Tvrtko uveo iz Raške u Bosnu, istražili su se datumi i mjesta krunidbe te koronatori u obje krunidbe. No full textElementi inicijacija imaju važnu društvenu dimenziju pokladnih običaja u Puntu na otoku Krku. Analizom tih običaja pomoću modela van Gennepove teorije o trodjelnoj strukturi obreda prijelaza, otkrivena je neobična snaga uložene energije pojedinaca i zajednice. Kako ples ima istaknuto mjesto u pokladnim običajima, promatra ih se i kao plesno zbivanje. Težište interpretacije plesnih zbivanja pomiće se od općeg pogleda na zbivanje, prema najužem, na kinemički dio plesa, po uzoru na analizu A. F. Snyder. Budući da je riječ o globalnim fenomenima, autor koristi globalnu povijest kao metodološku osnovu u pristupu analize samih fenomena. Donosi povijesni prikaz kroz koji ukazuje na faktore koji su omogućili razvoj esporta i gaminga kao globalnih fenomena. Istražuje mjesto i način na koji esport doživljava globalnu integraciju. Također, analizira povezanost esporta i zajednice kroz livestreaming platforme poput Twitcha i YouTubea, dok kroz analizu novih tehnologija i trendova prikazuje smjerove u kojima se esport i gaming razvijaju i nastavit će se razvijati u budućnosti.In this paper, the author examines the phenomenon of esports, which has evolved from gaming. Given the global nature of these phenomena, the author employs global history as the methodological foundation for analyzing them. The paper provides a historical overview that illustrates the factors that have facilitated the development of esports and gaming as global phenomena. It delves into the global integration of esports, exploring where and how it has occurred. Additionally, the author analyzes the connection between esports and the community through livestreaming platforms such as Twitch and YouTube. Furthermore, by scrutinizing new technologies and emerging trends, the paper sheds light on the directions in which esports and gaming are evolving and will continue to evolve in the future

No full textThe author classifies medieval Bosnian coins in three periods and focuses on coins struck in the first, early, period. He analyses existing predominant views about the coins struck by the Šubićes and the Kotromanićes – Stjepan II and Tvrtko as Ban, and examines them in accordance with contemporary historical views. Considering that numismatists have paid satisfactory attention to the Šubić coins of Pavao and Mladen I, and Pavao and Mladen II, the author only writes about the coins of Bans Stjepan II
and Tvrtko.Bosanski srednjovjekovni novac autor dijeli u tri razdoblja i raspravlja o novcu kovanom u prvo – rano doba. Analizirani su dosadašnji prevladavajući stavovi o novcima koje su kovali Šubići i Kotromanići - Stjepan II. i Tvrtko kao ban te provjereni u skladu s dosezima
suvremene povijesne znanosti. S obzirom da je novac Pavla i Mladena I., te Pavla i Mladena II. numizmatička znanost zadovoljavajuće obradila, autor se ne bavi njime nego samo novcem bana Stjepana II. i Tvrtka
