No full textIl tema del design di immagini animate nell’attuale scenario della comunicazione e la ricerca di nuove aree applicative di questo linguaggio sono stati in questi anni al centro di una serie di iniziative del laboratorio AnimazioneDesign della Facoltà di Architettura di Alghero. La problematica è di attualità crescente: grazie alla rivoluzione digitale l’animazione ha visto crescere in pochi anni il suo spazio di riferimento, uscendo dai suoi più tradizionali territori – l’intrattenimento, la sperimentazione artistica – per abbracciare un nuovo universo di applicazioni: la comunicazione di progetto, il web, l’e-learning, la manualistica, la simulazione e la divulgazione scientifica. Il confronto con questa tematica, del tutto nuova nello scenario della didattica universitaria italiana, e – nelle esperienze portate avanti nel nostro laboratorio in questi anni – la sua sistematica applicazione in settori a spiccata componente progettuale come il design e l’architettura, hanno fatto eme..

No full textThis volume presents the second edition of the Erasmus
Informanimation Intensive Programme, that took place
in Alghero, Italy, in June 2012. Lead by the Alghero
School of Design in collaboration with TEI Athens, UEM
Madrid, Liverpool John Moores University and the
University of Glamorgan, the project brought together
more than forty European students, educators,
industry experts and scholars.
The first part of the volume contains a series of articles
by the IP's teaching staff, developing the themes
presented during the course lectures.
The volume's second part presents the outcome of the
intensive and challenging design workshop, in which six
design briefs, provided by a selection of non-profit
commissioners and encompassing environmental,
social and cultural topics, were developed into eight
successful informanimations

emerging area in which we have started a series of actvites, both educatonal and of research.
The idea behind the project is to take advantage of the ability of animaton to bridge linguistc, cultural, and age boundaries and to exploit its versatle language for disseminatng complex contents in the domain of the current informaton space
