    Emergence of oblique TS mode due to longitudinal wall oscillation in 2D channel flow

    Stabilizing effects of wall oscillation on two dimensional (2D) Tollmein-Schlichting (TS) waves and oblique TS waves developing in 2D channel flow are numerically investigated using the Floquet method. It was shown from the previous study[1] that the wall oscillation mostly has stabilizing effect and then TS mode is occasionally more stable than the oblique mode. In the present study the characteristics of the stability are investigated in detail. Then it is cleared that the exchange of the most unstable mode form the 2D TS to the oblique TS can occur at a certain value of Reynolds number

    ObjectiveTranscultural adaptation and validation of FACIT-TS-PS questionnaire to Serbian language.MethodsStandard forward and backward translation from English to Serbian language was performed. Pilot testing of FACIT-TS-PS was conducted on 12 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of malignant tumor. The study included 154 patients with malignant disease. The Questionnaire of Patient Satisfaction was used as a validated tool to evaluate concurrent validity of FACIT-TS-PS questionnaire. Reproducibility was tested on 30 subjects who answered the questionnaire for the second time two weeks later.ResultsThree FACIT-TS-PS subscales (Physician Communication, Treatment Staff Communication and Nurse Communication) demonstrated satisfactory construct validity using Cronbach’s alpha, the remaining two subscales (Technical Competence and Confidence & Trust) showed high ceiling effect. Treatment Staff Communication subscale showed large floor effect. Concurrent validity was demonstrated by correlation with the two dimensions of the Questionnaire of Patient Satisfaction. Satisfactory reproducibility was demonstrated on 30 patients who filled the questionnaire for the second time two weeks after initial interview.ConclusionThe Serbian version of FACIT-TS-PS with the omission of Treatment Staff Communication subscale could be used as a valid instrument to assess patient and treatment satisfaction in chronically ill patients in the Serbian population. Omission of Treatment Staff Communication subscale is necessary because it contains questions not relevant for patients in Serbian healthcare system.</div

    Opinnäytetyön toimeksiantajana toimi TS-Yhtymä Oy -konserni. Työssä kehitettiin konsernin yleisiä mediamyynnin sopimusehtoja. Aihe sijoittui liiketalouden ja sopimusjuridiikan rajapintaan ja siinä tarkasteltiin, miten juridisesti kestävät, mutta liiketoimintaa tukevat sopimuskäytännöt voivat parantaa yrityksen päätöksentekoa ja sujuvoittaa päivittäisiä käytännön toimintoja. Työssä tunnistettiin nykyisten sopimuskäytäntöjen haasteet, kuten yksittäisiin sopimuksiin liittyvä manuaalinen työ, hallinnollinen kuormitus ja mahdolliset tulkintaepäselvyydet. Teoriaosuuteen hyödynnettiin sopimusoikeutta käsittelevää kirjallisuutta ja voimassa olevaa lainsäädäntöä. Tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena kehittämistutkimuksena, johon sisältyi toimintatutkimuksen piirteitä. Aineisto koostui sekundääriaineistosta, kuten mediatalojen verkkosivuilta ja dokumenteista kerätystä materiaalista, sekä primääriaineistosta, joka tuotettiin kohdeorganisaation sisäisten keskustelujen ja osallistavien havaintojen avulla. Nykyisiä sopimuskäytäntöjä analysoitiin ja vertailtiin alan yleisiin käytäntöihin sekä konsernin liiketoimintatavoitteisiin. Lopputuloksena syntyi TS-Yhtymä Oy:n konsernille yhtenäinen ja juridisesti kestävä sopimusehtomalli, joka selkeyttää osapuolten vastuita, vähentää hallinnollista työtä ja tukee strategisten tavoitteiden toteutumista.
