The Research aims to determine whether there is influence of the monetary sector on financial system stability (SKK) in Indonesia. The method used in this study is the error corrections model (ECM) method. The data used in the study are Credit, Foreign Direct Investments, Portfolio Investment and Gross Domestic Product, Net Performing Loans, Exchange Rates, Inflation and Bi Rate. The results showed that foreign direct investment instruments, net performing loans, exchange rates and inflation affect the stability of the financial system in Indonesia. Then simultaneously the four independent variables significantly influence the stability of the financial system in Indonesia in the long run. Bi rate and partially portfolio investment variables do not significantly influence the stability of the financial system in Indonesia. The policy implication of these results is that every investment that enters Indonesia must be properly signed and the capital inflow must be right on target and directly distributed to the projects to be built or to the intended industry, so there is no excess liquidity in the bankin

The growing concern among researchers and analysts with regard to the decline in savings amounts is not without intention, interest and purpose. As saving is a personal and individual matter, an approach in which people are urged to augment their savings cannot be taken for granted. Yet while everyone has their own unique set of needs, preferences, motives and habits, this research aims to identify the typical factors that determine household saving in Indonesia. The model to test which factors are the most important is saving as a function of income, consumption, demographic status, psychological, institutional, and financial literacy. The respondents were derived from the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) from  periods 2007 and 2014. Using quantile regression, we found income to be the most significant factor for saving in 2007 followed by education attainment, employment status and past saving experience. In 2014, the most influential factors were income, risk preference, employment status, urban/rural location and disincentives for going to the bank. Access to finance may offer the potential to resolve the whole of the financial issue for both sides, the demanders and suppliers of microfinancing, both individually and institutionall

This thesis discusses the effectiveness of macroprudential policies Indonesia Bank in the control of property loans. The independent variables are dummy variables of the loan to value, interest rates on consumer loans, gross domestic product, and the interaction variables of loan to value with interest rates on consumer credit and the dependent variable is the property loans. The method used in this thesis is panel data regression method. This study aims to determine whether macroprudential policy instrument (loan to value) is effective to be applied in Indonesia. The results showed that macroprudential policy instrument (loan to value) is effective to control property loan. Then, simultaneously four independent variables significant effect on property loans and partially interest rates on consumer credit has no significant effect on property loans. Based on the coefficient of integration test result, the ability of independent variables in the model to explain the dependent variable changes is amounted to 62.68%.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Digital Transformation in KITE Management (Easy Import for Export Purposes): Viewed from Administrative Process, Technological Aspects, and Human Readiness

The Indonesian government is trying to increase export activities through community involvement, especially local entrepreneurs. Digital transformation is the main foundation for optimizing business, especially in the management of Ease of Import for Export Destinations (KITE). This research, using qualitative descriptive methods, explores the impact of digitalization on KITE management through the KITE Application. The research focus includes administrative process changes, technology usability, application effectiveness, data integrity, data security management, training policies, internal evaluations, fine policies, and user perceptions of the transition to the digital era. International trade, especially through ASEAN and AFTA, is an important focus for stimulating economic growth, with DJBC playing a key role in providing fiscal incentives and investment protection. KITE facilities provide important support for entrepreneurs in increasing production and managing company finances. Digital transformation, especially through the Ceisa application, is considered a step forward in customs services. Despite an increase in user satisfaction, further efforts are needed to achieve service stability and optimization. This research, through a qualitative approach and NVivo analysis, provides valuable insights regarding the implementation of the KITE Application and its impact on Indonesian exports, with the hope of providing recommendations for improving implementation, data security, and user response in the era of digital transformation

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
