    PENGEMBANGAN BUKU AJAR IPS-SEJARAH DIGITAL SMP

    ABSTRAK Inovasi dalam pembelajaran berperan membangkitkan motivasi belajar siswa. Di usia SMP siswa masih beradaptasi dari usia sekolah dasar, media pembelajaran dengan banyak aspek visual akan lebih membantu dibandingkan narasi teks saja. Buku ajar digital ini berisikan materi Sejarah SMP kelas VII yaitu materi masa praaksara, Hindu-Buddha, Islam, dan Kolonial. Media ini menggunakan software Adobe Flash Proffesional CS6, media ini berkonsep buku ajar digital yang interaktif dan estetik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan buku sejarah digital berbasis animasi sebagai media belajar dan menguji kelayakan buku sejarah digital sebagai penunjang belajar siswa SMP kelas VII. Target penelitian ini berupa Artikel Ilmiah dengan produk berupa: (1) Media berupa produk akhir buku IPS-sejarah digital dengan animasi flash. (2)Artikel Ilmiah hasil penelitian ini. Jenis penelitian adalah pengembangan, modelnya menggunakan langkah-langkah yang dikemukakan Sugiyono (2011: 298) yang dikolaborasikan dengan model pengembangan Pustekom Depdiknas. Produk ini layak dimanfaatkan dengan hasil validasi diatas 75% baik pada tahap validasi ahl, media, maupun uji coba produk. Validasi menggunakan metode angket dengan skala Likert dan diolah dengan teknik analisis rata-rata. Hasil analisis digunakan untuk menentukan kelayakan media. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut dan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan siswa SMP kelas VII di masa depan.   ABSTRACT Innovation in learning plays a role in generating student learning motivation. In junior high school students still adapt from elementary school age, learning media with many visual aspects will be more helpful than text narratives only. This digital textbook contains the material of History of SMP class VII that is the material of pre-mass, Hindu-Buddhist, Islam, and Colonial. This media uses Adobe Acrobat Flash Proffesional software, this medium conceptualized interactive and aesthetic digital textbooks. The purpose of this research is to produce digital history book based on animation as a learning media and to test the feasibility of digital history book as a supporter of student learning at SMP class VII. Target of this research in the form of Scientific Articles with products in the form of: (1) Media in the form of end product IPS book-digital history with flash animation. (2) Scientific article on the results of this study. The type of research is development, the model uses the steps proposed Sugiyono (2011: 298) which collaborated with the model of development Pustekom Depdiknas. This product is feasible to be utilized with validation result above 75% either in validation phase ahl, media, or product trial. Validation using the Likert-scale questionnaire method and processed by the mean analysis technique. The results of the analysis are used to determine the feasibility of the media.     ABSTRAK Visible Light Communication (VLC) atau komunikasi cahaya tampak merupakan teknologi yang sedang on fire selama beberapa tahun ini dan diasumsikan akan terus berlanjut beberapa dekade kedepan karena banyak kelebihan yang ditawarkan, yakni telah tersedia infrastruktur utama berupa lampu penerangan sehingga bersifat cost-effective, bebas lisensi, lebih aman (secure), kecepatan transmisi mencapai GHz, dan tidak memiliki interferensi elektromagnetik. Karena VLC adalah teknologi yang relatif baru, maka standar komunikasinya juga cenderung berkembang ialah standar IEEE 802.15.17 yang terpublikasi akhir tahun 2010 lalu. Standar ini masih mengajukan teknik modulasi dan juga komunikasi pada skenario point-to-point namun sampai saat ini belum mengakomodasi sistem komunikasi dengan skenario Multiuser sekaligus transmisi Bi-directional. Makalah ini merupakan proposal rancangan dalam rangka mendesain sistem VLC secara bi-directional (uplink dan downlink) yang mampu dipakai pada skema multiuser dengan kecepatan bitrate pada downlink mencapai 1 Mbps untuk aplikasi dalam ruang (indoor). Makalah ini terbagi menjadi beberapa bagian pembahasan. Pertama mendefinisikan latar belakang akan dilakukannya sebuah penelitian untuk memperbaiki platform penelitian yang terdahulu dan kontribusinya. Bagian kedua memaparkan penelitian yang relevan beserta state of the art antara penelitian ini dengan lainnya. Bagian ketiga merinci teori dasar. Bagian keempat memaparkan metodologi penelitian dan terakhir adalah batasan masalah dan penutup.   ABSTRACT Visible Light Communication (VLC) is a technology that has been on fire for several years and it is assumed to continue in the next few decades because of the many advantages offered, namely the main infrastructure in the form of lighting so that it is cost-effective, free license, safer (Secure), the transmission speed reaches GHz, and has no electromagnetic interference. Since VLC is a relatively new technology, its communication standards also tend to develop is the IEEE 802.15.17 standard published late 2010. This standard still proposes modulation techniques as well as communications in the point-to-point scenario but until now has not accommodated the communication system with Multiuser scenario as well as Bi-directional transmission. This paper is designed to design a bi-directional (uplink and downlink) VLC system that can be used on multiuser schemes with bitrate speeds downlink of up to 1 Mbps for indoor applications. This paper is divided into several parts of the discussion. First define the background of a research to improve the previous research platform and its contribution. The second part describes the relevant research along with the state of the art between this study and others. The third section details basic theories.     LED Driver Design for Indoor Lighting and Low- rate Data Transmission Purpose

    Abstract— The LED driver design for lighting at the indoor environment, as well as data transmitter with a one-way link (for download purpose), is discussed clearly in this paper. The LED driver performances are already tested with three scenarios approach and it can work properly. Those approaches are 1) single carrier signal generated by signal generator with offset null as an input signal, 2) integrated with the digital block, i.e. Digital-to-Analog converter (DAC) board which has DC component as an input signal, and 3) using the audio signal as input. The contribution in this paper i.e. 1) the LED driver was simply designed and it could be used for signal with multilevel amplitude format (e.g. audio signals, video signals, OFDM signal format, etc.); 2) low-cost platform which is built from inexpensive general DIP OP-AMP, 3) can dial up 50 kHz of bandwidth; 4) no flicker effect, therefore harmless for human eyes; 5) light weight implementation and 6) simple to operate with manual tuning. Our proposed LED driver is divided into three stages where each of them, have the main functions, i.e. a) DC-offset remover circuit to remove signal input with has DC signal characteristic, DC-offset summer circuit with a variable amplifier as signal conditioning, and voltage follower transistor

    Rancang Bangun Layer Fisik Visible Light Communication Pada Sistem Transmisi Audio

    Currently, LED functions not only as illumination purpose but also can be used as a communication device. Commonly, this technology is called as "visible light communication (VLC)", which has begun to be applied in areas susceptible to electromagnetic waves, such as hospitals, aircraft cabins, airports, military headquarters and etc. Generally, the media, which is used as object of the data transmission, e.g. digital images, video, audio (music only), texts, and even data packets for internet browsing purposes. This research implements a VLC system that focuses on the physical layer, especially in Analog Front-End (AFE) part. The designed system consists of an AFE transmitter module as a modulator and an AFE receiver as a demodulator. The designing AFE transmitter adopts the Bias-T module principle, it has same the functionality but extremely lower in the cost factor. While in the AFE receiver part, the DC-offset remover module is implemented, it has a function to reduce the DC signal that generated from ambient light. The results of demonstration show that the system, functionally, can be used for transmitting audio signals via visible light and the received data can be displayed to the loudspeaker directly.  In this work, the data observation is done by comparing the amplitude of input signal connected to the driver LED against the output signal from the last stage of the AFE receiver. From the test results, it can be shown that the optimum bandwidth of the AFE transceiver is about 50 kHz to 450 kHz (with attenuation at fc = -3 dB as a reference) and the maximum distance for data transmission is 40 cm and angle of reception is 0o</jats:p

    Visible Light Communication Kits for Education

     The development of educational kit must be compiled on how to prepare undergraduate students in the engineering field in following the new trends globally and becoming an alternative to the technical education system based on practical approach. The primary motivation for this research is to design and implement the visible light communications (VLC) educational toolkit, especially in the analog front-end part. It consisted of six kits (transimpedance amplifier, pre-amplifier, DC-offset remover, analog filter, and AGC) in which each kit has one practicum task. There are six tasks and one task for the project by integrating these kits. The undergraduate students can use this educational kit to investigate the physical layer in a VLC system. It provides a low-complexity educational kit, so this is becoming an alternative as supplement course offered in this field.     Trainer board is a modelling device approach which has related function or same with real pheneonom, it was designed for upgrading the cognitive and the psychomotoric ability of students in a practical courses understanding and applicating concepts. This research goals is to make a trainer board of Astable Multivibrator oscillator, we hope that this learning tools can help them in facilitate to learn Astable Multivibrator characteristics as well as laboratories insfrastructure need. The method in design and implement this trainer board is prototyping and assembling with several approach steps, i.e. identification; simulation; experiment, design process; fabrication; and finally is testing. The results show that the trainer board which designed is appropriate with the theorem

    Proposed An Intelligent System for Electricity Theft Detector at Smart City Scenarios

    This is a conceptual proposal which is aimed at describing an intelligent security system to early detect cases of electricity theft which is claimed effective to cope with ICT based cases of electrecity theft. The method employed in the detector is computation system, which is the computation of phase differences (Φ), current voltage in real time and losses detection of electrical power grid by 220V. The losses calculation employs Kirchoff’s law I which is Kirchoff’s current law. The current sensors are put on the output distribution transformer and on customer’s APP connection. The working principles are (1) reading output current and phase differences at the load point (of the customer’s) in the distribution transformer using the current sensor, (2) comparing the output current (Io) with the sum of certain variables on consumers to be discussed in this paper. (3) Knowing the data of electric current usage by recording data of losses in real time and by sending them to teh control center monitoring in in real time
