    Social media has penetrated to the many areas in daily lives of students. The main objective of the study is to investigate the causes and effects of social media that impact on students according to the basic of a sample survey that was carried out in June 2018. A sample of students falling within the age group 16-24 was selected by using the stratified random sampling. In this study, it found that the mutual relationship between social media and students was highly significant. Factor analysis has been applied to explore that the significant factors of social media impact on students. Moreover, confirmatory factor analysis has also been applied to determine that the relationship and interactive structure between the effect and usage of social media in students. It was found that there was a causal relationship between so ial media actual usages and various effects of social media. Also, the students used social media for learning utilization, personal and multiple usages. Students were getting bored of their study, conflict within family and facilitate laziness because of social media. Moreover, social media usages appeared the personal problem , physical problem and mind problem in students. It was found that social media usage for learning utilization and multiple uses, addiction of social media usages and usable place for social media are difference between male and female students

    Factors Influencing Parent Satisfaction at IIP International School, Yangon (Khine Swe Win, 2024)

    This thesis mainly focuses on the factors influencing parent satisfaction at IIP International School in Yangon. Descriptive and quantitative research methods were applied to the parents of IIP International School using a simple random sampling method. The study explores eight pivotal dimensions: tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, price, people, place, and process. Findings indicate high overall parent satisfaction, with significant areas of satisfaction including student safety, educational services, staff responsiveness, and school location. The score levels for parent perception across all criteria indicate a favorable trend, with a high level of perception. Furthermore, the findings of the regression analysis reveal that among the variables; tangibility, responsiveness, and place, these three variables exhibited a statistically significant positive effect on parent satisfaction. This study proposes that the school management should focus on enhancing the physical facilities, staff responsiveness, and overall school environment to enhance parent satisfaction at IIP International School

    This study aims to examine the influencing social media marketing practices on consumer loyalty towards UNiQUE Commercial Co., Ltd. The study was conducted by using multiple regression analysis to reach the study objectives. The sample size in this study was 122 respondents, which is the result calculated by Raosoft. The population size is 1,000 consumers of UNiQUE’s social media. The survey was conducted by a simple random sampling method. A structured questionnaire was used to gather the answers from the respondents. The result of this study indicates that advertising and interaction (social media marketing practices) have a positive significant effect on satisfaction (consumer engagement); advertising, interaction, and EWOM have a positive significant effect on commitment (consumer engagement); interaction has a positive significant effect on trust (consumer engagement); and again, interaction has a positive significant effect on brand image (consumer engagement). It is also found that commitment and brand image (consumer engagement) have an effect on consumer loyalty towards UNiQUE Commercial Co., Ltd. This study recommends that the company try to find new attractive promotional marketing practices that can engage with high-income single women. In addition, the study also suggests the company maintain social media advertising, interaction, and EWOM to meet the requirements of the target market. In this way, the company can have the highest level of consumer engagement, which can lead to gaining the maximum loyalty of the consumers and sustainable growth of the company

    This study aims to analyze the effect of agile project management on project success and to examine the moderating effect of organizational culture on the relationship between agile project management and project success at Max Myanmar Construction Co., Ltd. The workforce of Max Myanmar Construction Co., Ltd. is 150 project employees. By using Raosoft sample size calculator, the study's sample size is 109 employees. Survey participants are selected by using a simple random sampling method. Primary data are collected through structured questionnaires using a 5-point Likert Scale using personal interviews method. Secondary data are gathered from relevant textbooks, academic journals, previous research studies, and official websites. In this study, descriptive statistics and regression analysis are used to reach the objectives. The findings of this study reveal that agile project management has positive and significant effects on project success. The analysis also show that a significant partial moderating effect of organizational culture on the relationship between project factors and technical factors of agile project management and project success. Based on these findings, the company should work towards nurturing a culture that values open communication, adaptability, and employee involvement to support agile practices more effectively. In addition, leadership of Max Myanmar Construction should actively engage employees in decisionmaking and ensure that project goals are aligned with both strategic priorities and client expectations

    Democratization has progressed in Myanmar since the transfer of government to civil administration in March 2011, and the country is steadily forging stronger ties with the international community. In order to support democratization and structural reforms of Myanmar through economic development, there is an urgent necessity for social and industrial infrastructure development in Myanmar, which promotes her growth and links with neighboring countries. Japan would contribute to investments in infrastructure and eventually to Myanmar’s economic development, which is indispensable for sustainable growth throughout Asia. Japan should further encourage these efforts and promote concrete economic cooperation with Myanmar looking ahead to the ASEAN economic integration schedule for 2015. There is a particularly urgent need for core infrastructure development within Myanmar to support industry and for region wide infrastructure projects to build links with neighboring countries. It is important for Japan to promote economic activities leveraging Myanmar’s potential through such projects and actively contribute to the purpose of this paper is to examine the development and changes in Myanmar -Japan relations from the view point of historical, political, diplomatic and economic areas particularly with special reference to Japan’s official development assistance (ODA) to Myanmar

    "Moringa oleifera Lam. is a multipurpose herbal plant used as a food and an alternative for medicinal purpose worldwide. Besides, Moringa oleifera Lam. plant has been identified as a plant with numerous health benefits including nutritional and medicinal advantages. So, in the present research, phytochemical and nutritional values of Moringa oleifera Lam. (leaves, flowers and pods) were evaluated by using standard phytochemical screening procedure (J.B Harbone) and standard official method (AOAC, Association of Analytical Chemist) respectively. The relative abundance of elemental composition were analysed by EDXRF (Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy).

    "Dried fish are very popular in Myanmar and some of these have been marketed abroad. Dried fish is an important source of low-cost dietary protein. Chemical investigations of two dried fish samples of Coilia ramcarati (Myee-tan-thwe) and Channa striatus (Nga-yant) which are widely consumed in Myanmar were carried out. The samples were purchased from Shwe Yin Mon market, Chan Aye Thar San Township in Mandalay Region. Some physiochemical properties such as pH, moisture, ash, protein, fat, fibre and carbohydrate contents of the two samples were determined by Association Official Analytical Chemist (AOAC) method. Moreover, the elemental composition of the two samples were carried out by using Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) method.
