Pediatric Cough
Cough in the pediatric age group is a common presenting complaint, and the etiology of the cough is often elusive. Although there is a high prevalence of cough in the pediatric age group, the subject is still poorly researched. The management of pediatric cough is different from adults. Cough in children causes a significant anxiety among parents and often leads to the use of inappropriate or unnecessary medications. Cough in the pediatric population is due to multiple underlying causes and the most common are allergy, infections, asthma, foreign body aspiration, and gastroesophageal reflux. Detailed history-taking and physical examination with chest X-ray and spirometry are often recommended for getting the diagnosis. Treatment is done according to the underlying disease, and there is poor evidence for prescribing medications only for symptomatic relief. This review article discusses the etiopathology and clinical characteristics of pediatric cough and its management
Vestibular migraine
Vestibular migraine (VM) is a distinct clinical entity which accounts for major vestibular symptoms among the adult and children. It is now accepted as a major cause for episodic vertigo. The pathophysiology for VM is not completely understood and is always a puzzling dilemma. Patients often present with vertigo, headache, photophobia, and phonophobia. The clinical examinations and laboratory investigations are usually within normal limit. The diagnosis of VM is often challenging as there are no confirmatory tests available. The treatment is often similar to the migraine headache. The present-day recommendation is to use the same prophylactic medications used for migraine including beta-blockers, antidepressants, and anticonvulsants. It is always a challenging disease for clinician and often creates a puzzle for diagnosis and treatment. Proper diagnosis and treatment of VM need a thorough understanding of the current literatures which are discussed details in this review article

Tourist Motivation, Destination Competitiveness, And Destination Loyalty – A Study On The District Of Virgin Princess
Many reasons tempt tourists, instigating researchers to analyse their motivations in choosing a destination matching their self-emotional persuasion. Some destinations arouse interest in travelling repeatedly, making tourists loyal owing to the destination's competitive advantage. The study intends to identify the influencing aspects that could cater to tourist satisfaction, thus generating potential loyal tourists; various dimensions of tourist motivations lead to the decision-making for the tourist, and major factors are the destination’s attributes and the destination’s perceived image. Any destination to sustain itself in the competitive tourism market has to evolve beyond the present competition, which requires likely tourist knowledge and their travel motivation related to their purchase decision-making for the destination. The results find that a peaceful environment, festivals and events, eco-tourism natural trails, and climatic conditions are crucial in attracting tourists to Kanyakumari—motivations like. Natural sceneries, the confluence of three seas Bay, Arabian and Indian Oceans, Sunrise and Sunset, attractive beaches, and Vivekananda rock are concrete competitive attributes of the district. The study further suggests managerial insinuations that can improve the district's competitiveness in increasing the tourist influxes
A bibliometric analysis of ecotourism: A safeguard strategy in protected areas
Ecotourism projects are mostly implemented in naturally fragile ecosystems as a savior of nature, culture, and indigenous people. This paper aims to make quantitative study of ecotourism in protected areas by using bibliometric analysis. VOSviewer, a popular bibliometric software, was used to analyze as many as 1182 research articles published from 2002 to 2020. Those articles were collected from the Scopus database. The study measured three distinct types of bibliometric indicators (quantity, quality, and structural indicators) to analyze the published articles scientifically. The analysis uncovers ecotourism research in protected areas as an emerging and predominant field of research with a sound growth in annual publications and citations. Importantly, the majority of ecotourism research articles are published in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa, Canada, and China. Nevertheless, ecotourism as a relevant research theme of is getting due importance in African and Asian countries for two key reasons: (1) wildlife and tribal populations, and (2) uncontaminated ecology and environment of ecotourism sites. Further, the main research themes of articles in the field of ecotourism in protected areas are broadly focused on conservation, visitor management, and community. Our findings reveal that controversial issues surrounding ecotourism and its relationship to protected areas, dominated by human-wildlife conflict, gender, and climate change, are attracting the attention of researchers worldwide
Managing Economic Leakages for Building Resilient and Sustainable Tourism Destination Performance
Tourism yields substantial economic benefits to destinations. However, economic leakages often undermine these benefits, weakening local value chains and hindering long-term economic sustainability. While existing research predominantly emphasises supply-side interventions to address leakages, limited attention has been given to demand-side determinants and to tourists' behaviour in exacerbating or mitigating leakages. This study develops a conceptual framework integrating economic leakages, particularly demand-side determinants, behavioural nudges and destination resilience, to investigate how nudging interventions can influence tourists’ choices and preferences toward local products and services. By synthesising insights from economic leakages, behavioural economics and sustainable tourism, this study highlights both theoretical contributions and practical implications for policymakers and tourism stakeholders. Additionally, it identifies key implementation challenges of behavioural interventions and proposes strategic measures to address them. The study concludes by outlining future research directions, emphasising empirical validation and policy-driven applications to foster sustainable tourism development and economic resilience
