Sutton acknowledges receipt of letter of January 31, 1865 and requests that his arms, which are enumerated, be restored to him at earliest convenience. On the reverse side, Captain Adams, assistant provost marshal, replies that the articles mentioned cannot be located. The pieces were turned over by Captain S.A.
