Social behaviors of mentally-retarded students in physical education learning
This study is aimed at knowing the social behaviors of mentally-retarded students in education learning. As a survey study, the research involves the use of interview and observation as data collection procedures. The subjects of the study are 34 mentally-retarded students. The data is analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The finding shows that mentally-retarded students need intensive and continuous consultation and support for their social behaviors in the physical education learning. In order for these students to participate well in the learning-teaching interaction, it is important to show to them the practical importance and value of doing physical practice. The instructions for the physical practice tasks should be brief and clear, and there should be not more than one instruction at a time. The teacher needs to understand students’ characteristics and choose the appropriate learning approach
PENGARUH PEMECAHAN MASALAH TERHADAP PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SENAM ARTISTIK
Abstract: The Contributions of Problem Solving on the Improvement of Artistic Gymnastics Learning Outcomes. This study aims to improve the psychomotor skills in artistic gymnastics and cognitive skills of the students of Physical Education, Health, and Recreation (PEHR), Faculty of Sports Sciences, Yogyakarta State University in the academic year of 2008/2009 through the problem-solving learning strategy. This was an action research study involving two cycles. The subjects were the students of the non-regular PEHR program. The data were analyzed using the quantitative descriptive technique. The results showed that the learning approach to artistic gymnastics using the problem-solving learning strategy was capable of improving the psychomotor and cognitive skills indicated by the artistic gymnastics learning outcomes with a mean of 7.02. PENGARUH MODEL LATIHAN DAN KOORDINASI TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN SISWI EKSTRAKURIKULER BOLA BASKET SMPN I BANTUL
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan pengaruh model latihan guided discovery style dan model latihan command style terhadap keterampilan bola basket siswi, (2) perbeda-an pengaruh siswi yang memiliki koordinasi tinggi dan koordinasi rendah terhadap keterampilan bola basket, dan (3) interaksi antara model latihan dengan koordinasi terhadap keterampilan bola basket siswi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswi ekstrakurikuler bola basket yang berjumlah 43 orang. Sampel berjumlah 24 siswi ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Intrumen tes yang digunakan adalah tes Wall Bounce Pass untuk mengukur koordinasi mata-tangan dan tes Sekolah Tinggi Olahraga (STO) untuk mengukur keterampilan bola basket siswi. Teknik analisis data yang menggunakan ANAVA. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara model latihan guided discovery style dan model latihan command style terhadap keterampilan bola basket siswi. (2) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh siswi yang memiliki koordinasi tinggi dan rendah terhadap keterampilan bola basket. (3) Tidak terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara model latihan dan koordinasi terhadap keterampilan bola basket siswi. THE EFFECT OF TRAINING MODEL AND COORDINATION ON THE BASKETBALL SKILLS OF EXTRACURRICULAR STUDENTS OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 BANTUL Abstract This study aims to investigate: (1) the different effects of the guided discovery style model training and command style model training on basketball skills of students, (2) the different effects on basketball skills of students who have high and low coordination, and (3) the interaction effects between training models of guided discovery style and command style with coordination (high and low) on the basketball skills of students.This research was an experiment. The population comprised 43 basketball extracurricular students. A sample of 24 students was established using the purposive sampling technique. The instruments of this research were wall bounce pass test to measure eye-hand coordination and Sekolah Tinggi Olahraga (STO) test to measure the basketball skills. The data were analyzed using the two-way ANAVA analysis.The results of the study are as follows. (1) There is no different effect between guided discovery style model training and command style model training on the basketball skills of the students. (3) There is an effect difference on the basketball skills of the students who have high and low coordination. (4) There is no a significant interaction between model training and coordination on the basketball skills of students. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
FAKTOR-FAKTOR KEMALASAN PESERTA DIDIK MENGIKUTI PEMBELAJARAN SENAM LANTAI DI SD NEGERI MENTEL II KECAMATAN TANJUNGSARI KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan siswa malas dalampembelajaran senam lantai di SD Negeri Mentel II Kecamatan Tanjungsari Kabupaten Gunungkidul.Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Setting penelitian ini dilakukan di SDNegeri Mentel II Kecamatan Tanjungsari Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Teknik pengumpulan datamenggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data,reduksi data, dan penyajian data. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa yang menyebabkan peserta didik malas dalam pembelajaran senamlantai di SD Negeri Mentel II Kecamatan Tanjungsari Kabupaten Gunungkidul yaitu karena pesertadidik merasa kesulitan saat melakukan gerakan senam. (1) Faktor internal: berat badan yangberlebih/gemuk, tidak nyaman setelah mengikuti pembelajaran senam lantai, lebih tertarik denganolahraga yang ada unsur permainan, takut cedera. (2) Faktor Eksternal: peserta didik kurangmemperhatikan guru pada saat pembelajaran, kurang menyukai materi pembelajaran senam lantai,sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran senam lantai masih kurang baik.Kata kunci: faktor-faktor kemalasan, pembelajaran senam lantai, SD Negeri Mentel I
PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MOTORIK DENGAN MODIFIKASI PERMAINAN TRADISIONAL UNTUK SEKOLAH DASAR KELAS ATAS
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran motorik dengan menggunakan modifikasi permainan tradisional untuk anak sekolah dasar kelas atas yang baik, efektif dan menyenangkan yang dapat digunakan oleh guru pendidikan jasmani. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (education research and development (R & D)yang mengadaptasi penelitian pengem-bangan menurut Borg & Gall (1983, p.775) yaitu: (1) potensi dan masalah; (2) pengumpulan infor-masi; (3) desain produk (draf model); (4) validasi ahli dan revisi; (5) uji coba lapangan skala kecil dan revisi; (6) uji coba lapangan skala besar dan revisi; (7) pembuatan produk final, revisi uji coba skala kecil pada 27 siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Catur Tuggal Sleman; (8) uji coba produk skala besar pada 40 siswa kelas IV dan kelas V SD Kanisius Baciro, Sleman; (9) revisi produk dan, (10) deseminasi dan implementasi pengembangan model pembelajaran. Instrumen yaitu: (1) wawancara; (2) skala nilai; (3) observasi guru; (4) observasi keefektifan model, dan (5) kuesioner siswa. Teknik analisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini berupa model pembelajaran motorik dengan modifikasi permainan tradisional berisikan lima permainan yaitu: (a) gobak sodor; (b) bola kasti; (c) jemprak/engklek; (d) lompat kubur, dan (e) kucing-tikus, dan bentuk buku panduan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran motorik dengan modifikasi permainan tradisional untuk sekolah dasar kelas atas direspon baik dan efektif. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan persentase pada setiap data kuantitatif di atas 70% pada skala besar. TINGKAT KESULITAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN GULING BELAKANG SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI KOTAGEDE 1 KECAMATAN KOTAGEDE KOTA YOGYAKARTA LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY IN BACK ROLL LEARNING OF GRADE V STUDENT IN SD NEGERI KOTAGEDE 1 KOTAGEDE DISTRICT YOGYAKARTA CITY
AbstrakPermasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran guling belakangselain itu guru juga belum dapat menerapkan pembelajaran senam lantai guling belakang sesuai kurikulum K13. Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesulitan dalam pembelajaran senam lantai guling belakang siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kotagede 1Kecamatan Kotagede Kota Yogyakarta.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survei dan teknik pengambilan datanya menggunakan angket.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kotagede 1. Sebanyak 60 siswa. Uji validitas instrumenmenggunakan korelasi bagian total dan uji reliabilitas instrumen menggunkan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis datamenggunakan analisis deskriptif yang dituangkan dalam bentuk persentase tingkat kesulitan dalam pembelajaran senam lantai gulingbelakang siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kotagede 1 Kota Yogyakarta.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesulitan siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran senam lantai guling belakangdi SD N Kotagede 1 Kota Yogyakarta adalah terdapat 4 siswa (6,7%) yang mengalami kesulitan pembelajaran guling belakang padakategori sangat tidak sulit, 13 siswa (21,7%) berada pada kategori tidak sulit, 25 siswa (41,7%) berada pada kategori sedang, 12siswa (20%) pada kategori sulit dan 6 siswa (10%) pada kategori sangat sulit. Apabila di lihat dari frekuensi tiap kategori, dapatdisimpulkan bahwa kesulitan pembelajaran guling belakang siswa memiliki tingkat kesulitan pada kategori sedang dalampembelajaran senam guling belakang.Kata kunci: kesulitan, siswa, kategori, sedangAbstractThe problem of the research is that there are students who have difficulty in the back roll learning, moreover, the teacheralso cannot apply the learning of back roll gymnastics learning according to K13 curriculum. The research intends to determine thelevel of difficulty in back roll gymnastics learning of Grade V students in SD Negeri (State Elementary School) Kotagede 1 DistrictKotagede Yogyakarta.This research was descriptive research with survey method and data collection technique using questionnaire. Thepopulation of the research was all grade V students in SD Negeri Kotagede 1 of 60 students. Instrument validity test used totalsection correlation and instrument reliability test used Cronbach Alpha formula. The data analysis technique employed descriptiveanalysis presented in the form of percentage of difficulty level in back roll gymnastics learning of Grade V students in SD NegeriKotagede 1 Yogyakarta City.The research results indicate that the level of difficulty of Grade V students in back roll gymnastics learning in SD NKotagede 1 Kota Yogyakarta is; 4 students (6.7%) having back roll gymnastics learning difficulty on the not very difficult category,13 students (21.7%) on the not difficult category, 25 students (41.7%) in medium category, 12 students (20%) in difficult category,and 6 students (10%) in very difficult category. MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SEPAK BOLA MAHASISWA PGSD STKIP St. PAULUS RUTENG MELALUI PENDEKATAN TAKTIK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa tingkat I PGSD STKIP Santu Paulus Ruteng melalui pendekatan taktik bermain. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang terdiri atas dua siklus, menggunakan desain Kemmis & MC. Taggart. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan taktik bermain yang di padukan dengan permainan lempar tangkap bola dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan minat sepak bola mahasiswa kelas IF PGSD STKIP Santu Paulus Ruteng. Berdasarkan data hasil tes pada siklus I rata-rata nilai mahasiswa secara klaksikal megalami peningkatan yaitu terlihat dari pratindakan 30 orang (50,84%) naik menjadi 39 orang (67%) pada siklus I dan pada siklus II menjadi 45 orang (76%) yang tuntas/lulus dengan mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimum yaitu 60. PAUL RUTENG IN PLAYING FOOTBALL THROUGH THE TACTICAL APROACH Abstract This research aims to seek the increasing result of the students' learning process in the first grade at PGSD (Elementary School Teacher Education) of STKIP St. Paul Ruteng through the tactical games approach. This research is a kind of Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles by using Kemmis & MC. Taggart's design. The research result shows that the tactical games approach which is combined with throwing-catching of ball play can increase the learning result and the interest in playing football for the 1F-class students at PGSD of STKIP St. Paul Ruteng. Based on the test result at first cycle, the average score of the students, is increasing classically which is shown by pre-action, namely 30 students (50.84%) becoming 39 students (67%) at first cycle, and then at second cycle it has been 45 students (76%) who have graduated/passed by reaching the minimum score criteria namely 60. Pengaruh metode latihan dan koordinasi mata tangan terhadap ketepatan drive pada ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pengaruh metode latihan drill tetap dan drill kombinasi (strokes) terhadap ketepatan pukulan drive; (2) perbedaan pengaruh koordinasi mata tangan tinggi dan koordinasi mata tangan rendah terhadap ketepatan pukulan drive; dan (3) Interaksi antara metode latihan dan koordinasi mata tangan terhadap ketepatan pukulan drive. Metode penelitian eksperimen faktorial 2 x 2. Populasi berjumlah 37 siswa. Sampel berjumlah 20 siswa. Instrumen koordinasi mata tangan menggunakan tes lempar tangkap bola tenis ketepatan pukulan drive menggunakan wall volley test. Teknik analisis data ANOVA dua jalur α = 0,05. Hasil menunjukkan: (1) ada perbedaan pengaruh metode latihan drill tetap dan drill kombinasi (strokes) terhadap ketepatan pukulan drive, drill tetap lebih baik daripada drill kombinasi (strokes); (2) ada perbedaan pengaruh koordinasi mata tangan tinggi dan rendah terhadap ketepatan pukulan drive, koordinasi mata tangan tinggi lebih baik daripada rendah; dan (3) ada interaksi antara metode latihan drill tetap dan drill kombinasi (strokes) dan koordinasi mata tangan tinggi dan rendah terhadap ketepatan pukulan drive. The effects of exercise and coordination of precision eye-hand drive in extracurricular badminton Abstract: This study aims to reveal: (1) differences in the influence of training methods drill fixed and drill combination (strokes) on the accuracy of punch drive; (2) differences in the effect of hand-eye coordination high and hand-eye coordination lower accuracy of the punch drives; and (3) the interaction between the practice and coordination hand-eye of the accuracy of punch drive. The method of this research was an experiment with factorial 2 x 2. The population was 37 students. The samples of this research were 20 students. The instrument to measure the use of hand-eye coordination catching tennis ball throwing punches accuracy-test drive using the wall volley. The data analysis technique was two ways ANOVA α = 0.05. The results of the research show that: (1) there are differences in the influence of training methods remain drill and drill combination (strokes) on the accuracy of punch drive, still better than the drill combination (strokes); (2) there is a significant difference of students that have the effect of hand-eye coordination high and low of the accuracy of punch drive, high hand-eye coordination is better than low; and (3) there was an interaction between training methods remain drill and drill combination (strokes) and hand-eye coordination high and low of the accuracy of punch drive.
