Applications of Hilfer-Prabhakar operator to option pricing financial model
In this paper, we focus on option pricing models based on time-fractional diffusion with generalized Hilfer-Prabhakar derivative. It is demonstrated how the option is priced for fractional cases of European vanilla option pricing models. Series representations of the pricing formulas and the risk-neutral parameter under the time-fractional diffusion are also derived.Mathematical Physic
What is the future for asset-based welfare?

Several techniques have been described to evaluate the true rotation value. Although the Prabhakar and Gordon techniques are used frequently, their superiority to each other in terms of measurement quality is unknown.Questions/Purposes:The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical compatibility of the 2 techniques and to evaluate whether they are suitable for all subtypes. Methods:This cross-sectional study included 40 patients with SCHF (including subtypes; Typical, Medial Oblique, Lateral Oblique, and High fracture pattern). The Gordon lateral rotation percentage and Prabhakar percentage of metaphyseal overhang were measured twice by 4 experienced Orthopedics and Traumatology surgeons at 8-week intervals. The interobserver and intraobserver reliability were examined using the intraclass correlation coefficient. Results:The interobserver reliability for Gordon and Prabhakar technique was 0.816 and 0.762 for the first measurement and 0.811 and 0.811 for the second measurement, respectively. The medial oblique fracture pattern was determined to have the best interobserver agreement among the subtypes. The result was excellent for the medial and lateral oblique subtypes, good for the typical fracture pattern, and fair for the high fracture pattern. The intraobserver reliability for Gordon and Prabhakar technique was excellent, 0.924 and 0.922, respectively. Conclusion:The main finding of this study was that the Gordon and Prabhakar techniques have similar interobserver and intraobserver reliability. Although the Gordon technique tends to have higher interobserver reliability, the difference was clinically insignificant. These measurements should not be relied upon in cases of SCHF with a high fracture pattern because of the different anatomic features of that region

The development of episodic foresight in preschoolers
How does the ability to think and plan into the future develop? Previous studies suggest that the ability to think about and act upon the future, a process referred to as episodic foresight, emerges between the ages of 3 and 4 (Atance, 2008). However, it is unclear what underlying processes change during the development of episodic foresight. We hypothesize that episodic foresight consists of two separate processes: 1) the formation and maintenance of goals, and 2) the construction of simulated scenarios, each of which can be made more or less difficult based on the task at hand. We report an experiment that tested the emergence of these processes. The experiment focused primarily on the effect of the number of features that must be constructed and held in memory (4 or 6) and the goals that must be maintained (Subgoal then Final). The results indicate that fouryear- old children are able to envision the future to successfully accomplish future goals, but are subject to working memory demands when there are more features in the future environment. However, three-year-olds are only able to attribute goals when the feature demands are low. When there are fewer features to construct, three-year-olds maintain only the final goal, ignoring the subgoal. Therefore, the development of episodic foresight progresses in conjunction with working memory, simulation and goal maintenance abilities.M.S.Includes bibliographical referencesby Janani Prabhaka
Elektronické, mechanické a transportní vlastnosti molekulárních spojů
Název práce: Elektronické, mechanické a transportní vlastnosti molekulárních spojů Autor: Narendra Prabhakar Arasu Katedra: Katedra fyziky kondenzovaných látek Vedoucí práce: Dr. Héctor Vázquez, Fyzikální ústav AV ČR, Oddělení povrchů a molekulárních struktur, Molecular Transport Group Abstrakt: Výzkum a vývoj jednomolekulových obvodů jsou zajímavé z funda- mentálního hlediska a potenciálně mohou mít velký dopad na oblasti elektroniky, katalýzy nebo organických elektrických článků. V této práci představím svůj pří- spěvek k tématu molekulárních spojů, založený na teorii a simulacích. Kapitola 1 začíná základním přehledem fundamentálních pojmů v problematice elektro- nické struktury molekul a molekulární elektroniky. Počínaje jednoduchými mo- dely, představím hlavní principy, jimiž se řídí průchod elektronů molekulárními strukturami, jako jsou prostorové omezení a kvantování hladin energie, tunelo- vání skrze potenciálovou bariéru, nebo transmisi přes jednoduchou energetickou hladinu. Dále uvedu základy teorie elektronové struktury a metod využívajících Greenovy funkce. Zde nastíněné koncepce a metody modelování tvoří teoretické pozadí dále prezentované práce. Stručně také oddiskutuji několik široce používa- ných experimentálních technik pro studium molekulárních obvodů. Kapitoly 2 a 3 popisují chování...Title: Electronic, mechanical and transport properties of molecular junctions Author: Narendra Prabhakar Arasu Department: Department of Condensed Matter Physics Supervisor: Dr. H'ector V'azquez, Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Department of surfaces and molecular structures, Molecular Transport Group Abstract: Research and development in the single-molecule circuit are interesting from a fundamental perspective and have a great potential impact on electronics, catalysis, and organic energy cells. In this thesis, I present my contributions to molecular junctions through theory and simulations. Chapter 1 starts with a ba- sic overview of fundamental concepts in the electronic structure of molecules and molecular electronics. Starting from simple models, I introduce the main ideas governing electron transmission through molecular structures, such as confine- ment and quantization of energy levels, tunneling through a potential barrier, or transmission through a single electronic level. I then present the fundamentals of electronic structure and Green's function methods. The concepts and simulation methods outlined here are the theoretical background for the works presented in this thesis. I also briefly discuss a few widely used experimental techniques studying molecular circuits....Matematicko-fyzikální fakultaFaculty of Mathematics and Physic

Characterizing Android permissions and analyzing their privacy-intrusion
Several studies have examined Android apps’ use of permissions from a security point-of-view. However, privacy has been an increasing concern with the increasing number of apps and most users are still not aware of several privacy-intruding permissions. This research investigates a dataset of permissions for over 610,000 apps existing on the Google Play Store on how they can impact users of smartphones. The objective is to better understand the patterns in permissions from a users’ perspective. We report findings on thousands of reputed apps using users’ coarse or exact location. About 70% of such apps were free and the major categories were Entertainment and Games. We observe more than 90% positive correlation between the ratings and such permissions. We also analyze device-intrusion where few apps ask for permissions to let the app run in the background, tweak with hardware and deplete energy using rich-media ads. For example, several apps in News & Magazines category were found to consume energy for downloading even when the device is in sleep mode. More than 20,000 free apps were found to receive packet data anonymously. The thesis concludes with discussion on implications obtained by employing k-modes algorithm to cluster dangerous and safe appsM.S.Includes bibliographical referencesby Kirty Prabhakar Vedul
