Tosunlar jeotermal sahasının (Denizli) hidrojeolojik ve hidrojeokimyasal incelemesi
Bu tez çalışması Pamukkale Üniversitesi Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Koordinasyon Birimi tarafından 2016FEBE048 nolu proje ile desteklenmiştir.Bu çalışmada, Denizli il merkezinin 20 kilometre kuzeydoğusunda bulunan Tosunlar jeotermal sahasının yanında Pamukkale, Karahayıt, Gölemezli ve Yenicent jeotermal sahası suları da örneklenerek su kimyası yönünden karşılaştırma yapılması amaçlanmıştır. İnceleme alanı jeotermal sahalarında rezervuar kaya, Paleozoyik yaşlı Menderes
masifi metamorfitleri ile Neojen yaşlı Sazak formasyonudur. Örtü kaya ise Neojen yaşlı Kızılburun, Kolonkaya ve Tosunlar formasyonları geçirimsiz birimleri temsil eder. Akça Enerji Otoprodüktör Grubu A.Ş. bünyesinde olan Tosunlar sahasında sıcakları ise 87-102 santigrad derece ve debileri 0 ile 500 ton/saat arasında değişen iki üretim ve iki reenjeksiyon kuyusundan enerji üretimi ve sera ısıtmacılığında yararlanılmaktadır. Bu kuyuların test sonuçlarından, kuyulara rezervuarın farklı derinliklerinde farklı sıcaklıkta jeotermal akışkan girişi olduğu anlaşılmıştır. İnceleme alanında örneklenen termal suların sıcaklıkları 33,9 ile 98,0 santigrad derece, elektriksel iletkenlikleri 2,39 ile 4,82 mikrosiemens/santimetre ve pH değerleri 6,19-7,77 arasında değişmektedir. Termal sular genellikle Na-Ca-HCO₃- SO4 tipindedir. Termal suların delta18O değerleri binde -8,01 ile -9,28 ve delta2H
değerleri binde -55,17 ile -60,82 arasında olup meteorik kökenlidirler. Düşük trityum değerleri termal suların yeraltındaki sirkülasyon sürelerinin 50 yıldan fazla olduğuna işaret etmektedir. Suların delta34S ve delta13C (DIC) değerleri, sulardaki kükürdün kaynağının olasılıkla kireçtaşları içindeki CaSO4, karbonun kaynağının ise metamorfik CO2 olduğunu göstermektedir. PhreeqC programı ile yapılan hesaplamalarda inceleme alanı termal sularının örnekleme koşullarında kalsit, aragonit, dolomit ve kuvars minerallerince doygun olduğu belirlenmiştir. Alınan kabuk örneklerinin XRD analizinde kalsit, aragonit, dolomit, kuvars ve jips mineralleri saptanmıştır. İnceleme alanı sıcak sularına uygulanan kimyasal ve izotop jeotermometre sonuçlarına göre sahalar için; Pamukkale 63-69 santigrad derece, Karahayıt 75-104 santigrad derece, Gölemezli 90-155 santigrad derece, Yenicekent
79-93 santigrad derece ve Tosunlar 115-166 santigrad derece civarında rezervuar sıcaklıkları öngörülmektedir.In this study, it is aimed to make comparison of water chemistry in terms of sampling of the waters of Pamukkale, Karahayıt, Gölemezli and Yenicent geothermal fields as well as Tosunlar geothermal field located 20 kilometers northeast of Denizli city center. The reservoir rock of geothermal fields are Paleozoic Menderes massif metamorphics and Neogene Sazak formation. The cover rock represents the impermeable units of Neogene aged Kızılburun, Kolonkaya and Tosunlar formations. Akça Energy Autoproducer Group A.Ş is operating the geothermal
wells which rate 87-102 degrees Celsius and flow rates between 0 and 500 tons/hour for energy production and greenhouse heating. From the test results of these wells, it was understood that geothermal fluid inflow into the wells at different depths of the reservoir at different temperatures. The temperatures of the thermal waters sampled
in the study area between 33.9 and 98.0 degrees celsius, electrical conductivity between 2.39 and 4.82 microsiemens/centimeters and pH values between 6.19-7.77. Thermal waters are generally of the Na-Ca-HCO3-SO4 type. The delta18O values of thermal waters are between -8.01 and -9.28 per thousand and the delta2H values are between -55.17 and -60.82 per thousand that come from meteoric origin. Low
tritium values indicate that the circulating periods of thermal waters are more than 50 years. The delta34S and delta13C (DIC) values of the waters indicate that the source of sulfur in the waters is probably CaSO4 within the limestones and the source of carbon is metamorphic CO2. PhreeqC program’s calculations, the thermal waters of the study area were found to be saturated by calcite, aragonite, dolomite
and quartz minerals under sampling conditions. Calcite, aragonite, dolomite, quartz and gypsum minerals were determined in XRD analysis of the crust samples. According to the results of chemical and isotope geothermometers applied to the hot waters of the study area; reservoir temperatures are predicted around Pamukkale 63- 69, Karahayıt 75-104, Gölemezli 90-155, Yenicekent 79-93 and Tosunlar 115-166 degrees celsius
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
