Escuela de Enfermería; Argentina.La Espina bífida es un defecto del tubo neural que sucede en las dos primeras semanas de vida intrauterina y es producida por el cierre parcial de los pliegues neurales y fusión defectuosa de los arcos vertebrales, siendo considerada una de las anomalías más importantes dentro del grupo de los defectos del tubo neural, que provoca una protrusión de estructuras como ser: meninges, músculo, piel y nervios, que pueden quedar expuestas en la superficie. Anualmente nacen en el mundo 500,000 niños con defecto de cierre del tubo neural, es la segunda causa de defecto congénito, luego de las cardiopatías congénitas. En Argentina la estadísticas precisa es de 5.19 niños cada 10000 nacimientos y en Jujuy 6.66 niños cada 10000. La manifestación más común y severa de la Espina Bífida es el Mielomenigocele, es un quiste que se origina en el primer mes de vida intrauterina, constituyéndose en la variedad más complicada, ya que existe ausencia de los arcos vertebrales posteriores además de la probabilidad de asociarse con hidrocefalia, lo que se traduce en una situación de mucho peligro. Una de las complicaciones de esta patología es la Vejiga Neurogenica que se entiende como la disfunción de la dinámica miccional. Existe y de hecho se les ofrece a los padres alternativas de tratamiento para estos pacientes como ser las “citoplastías” que es la utilización de un segmento intestinal aislado para ampliar la vejiga de escasa capacidad (vejigas pequeñas) y también el ofrecimiento de esfínteres urinario artificial, una prótesis poco probada que en algunos casos no es suficientemente eficaz (igualmente se debe utilizar catéter) para el vaciado vesical. Estas dos alternativas son de alto costo y con un gran porcentaje de poca efectividad, quedando como alternativa de tratamiento la quimioprofilaxis y Cateterismo Intermitente Limpio (C.I.L.). Esta última es una técnica preventiva, la cual evita en un 90% las infecciones urinarias sintomáticas y recurrentes preservando la buena función renal, técnicas que se debe aplicar desde los primeros días de vida del recién nacido con alteración de espina bífida. Las necesidades y conflictos que se presentan desde el momento del nacimiento o el diagnóstico de la persona con Mielomeningocele son variados a medida que el niño crece y se desarrolla. La familia debe afrontar diferentes conflictos: con respecto a la 2 realización del CIL, en distintos ámbitos y etapas de la vida, conflictos en la etapa escolar, la vida social, las diferentes barreras como por ejemplo arquitectónicas que se le presentan. Por lo cual el siguiente proyecto tiene la finalidad de conocer que estrategias de afrontamiento implementan las familias para la realización del CIL durante la vida diaria y las formas de superar los conflictos que se puedan presentarse en niños con Mielomenigocele. El trabajo se encuentra organizado: Capitulo 1: Comprende el planteo y definición del problema, justificación, marco teórico, conceptualización de la Variable y objetivos.Es importante estudiar lo expuesto porque se trata de un tema poco abordado y el CIL es fundamental en la vida de estos niños, al realizar la investigación nos permitirá obtener información objetiva de cada familia, la cual estará al alcance de todos los profesionales de la Institución y las mismas podrán ser transmitidas para ser utilizadas por otras familias, de esta forma contribuir a que los pacientes lleven una vida más saludable Capitulo 2: El tipo de estudio será descriptiva y transversal, el universo estará conformado por 20 (veinte) familias de niños con Mielomeningocele, que se realicen la técnica del CIL, que asisten a Rehabilitación en APPACE – Centro de Educación Terapéutica, de la ciudad de San Salvador de Jujuy, durante el periodo Junio a Noviembre de 2018, la fuente será primaria ya que la información se obtendrá directamente de la población en estudio, mediante el contacto directo con las familias. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
