No full textQuesto commento critico discute il recente lavoro di Stephan Lessenich sulla democrazia. L'articolo sostiene che per comprendere i confini strutturali della democrazia capitalista del “trentennio glorioso”, dobbiamo scoprire criticamente i limiti della democrazia liberale. L'articolo sostiene che l'assenza di una dimensione di democratizzazione economica è il risultato del restringimento del significato del “politico” da parte della democrazia liberale. Inoltre, definire la democrazia in termini di diritti non tiene in debito conto il modo in cui questi si sono sviluppati storicamente e recentemente, né chiarisce la loro relazione con la libertà negativa. La dialettica insostenibile a livello ambientale della democrazia e lo svalutazione del lavoro riproduttivo derivano dalla costituzione di una sfera economica definita in senso ristretto, dalla quale le "attività riproduttive" sono escluse. Infine, il testo riflette su cosa dovrebbe comportare "democratizzare la democrazia"

Die Pastoraltheologie, die vorwiegend mit Soziologien aus und für die westliche Welt arbeitet, ist für die globale Perspektive schlecht gerüstet. Eine Analyse mit weltweitem Fokus und sozioökonomischem Blick legt der Soziologe Stephan Lessenich vor, der die Welt als globale Externalisierungsgesellschaft sieht. Anhand von drei Begriffen beschreibt er die unglückselige Dynamik: die Strukturen der Macht, den Mechanismus der Ausbeutung sowie den Habitus einer (unreflektierten) Praxis westlicher Bürger*innen. Wie diese Analyse die Pastoraltheologie inspirieren und Kirche sich als Teil der Lösung verstehen könnte, beschreibt der letzte Abschnitt.
We live in a time of multiple crises that are also global in nature. Pastoral theology, which primarily works with sociologies from and for the Western world, is not really prepared for the global perspective. The sociologist Stephan Lessenich presents an analysis with a global focus and a socio-economic perspective, who sees the world as a global externalizing society. He uses three terms to describe the unfortunate dynamic: the structures of power, the mechanism of exploitation and the habitus of an (unreflective) practice of Western citizens. The last section describes to what extent and how this analysis could inspire pastoral theology and how the church could see itself as part of the solution

No full textAccording to Stephan Lessenich, in the society of externalisation there is an intense work that consists of transferring the damages and costs of capitalist relations from the European centre to the global south. Based on the above, this essay aims to demonstrate the existence of an externalising process that affects afro-descendant migrant women by the Chilean state and society, a situation that will be analysed through the seven mechanisms of externalisation proposed by Lessenich. Finally, it is worth asking: Are externalising societies only the product of externalisation by the European centre? What happens to afro-descendant migrant women in Chile?Según Stephan Lessenich, en la sociedad de la externalización existe un intenso trabajo que consiste en transferir los daños y los costos de las relaciones capitalistas por parte del centro europeo al sur global. En base a lo anterior, el presente ensayo tiene por objetivo exponer la existencia de un proceso externalizador que afecta a las mujeres migrantes afrodescendientes por parte del Estado y la sociedad chilena. Esta situación se analizará a través de los siete mecanismos de externalización que propone el autor. Para finalizar cabe preguntarse ¿Las sociedades externalizantes solo son producto de la externalización del centro europeo? ¿Qué sucede con las mujeres migrantes afrodescendientes en Chile
