No full textVapaa-ajan asuntojen ja lomanviettopaikkojen suosio kasvaa Suomessa ja maailmalla. Perinteisten kesämökkien lisäksi kunnostetaan vanhoja rakennuksia ja maatiloja vapaa-ajanasumiskäyttöön. Vanhojen rakennuksien kunnostamisen lisäksi tonteille rakennetaan lisärakennuksia vastaamaan asumisen muuttuviin tarpeisiin. Vierastalo Stenberg - konsepti-suunnitelma lisärakennuksesta on Hanna C. & Co:n toimeksiantona toteutettava työ, joka käsittelee lohjalaisen Villa Stenbergin lisärakennuksen konseptin suunnittelua. Villa Stenberg on vanhan maatilan päärakennus, jonka yhteyteen on vähitellen rakentumassa vuokrattava lomakylä.
Työn tavoitteena on suunnitella konseptisuunnitelma lisärakennuksesta, jossa ovat sauna- ja majoitustilat ja joka on tiloiltaan tarkoituksenmukainen ja vastaa toimeksiantajan toiveita. Lisäksi tavoitteena on kunnioittaa alueen tyyliä, edistää eheän pihapiirin muodostumista sekä huomioida rakennuksen erilaiset käyttäjät. Vierastalo Stenberg – konseptisuunnitelma lisärakennuksesta on rajattu sisätilojen, rakennuksen ilmeen, aukotuksen ja sijainnin suunnitteluun. Konseptisuunnitelma on lähtökohtana lisärakennuksen rakennus- ja erikoissuunnittelulle. Tämä produktiivinen opinnäytetyö rakentuu konstruktiivisella tutkimusotteella toteutetusta tutkimuksesta ja konseptisuunnitelmasta havainnekuvineen ja piirustuksineen. Tutkimus käsittelee vapaa-ajanasumista Suomessa, rakennus- ja tilasuunnittelua sekä suunnitelmaan vaikuttavia määräyksiä. Tutkimuksella pyritään vastaamaan kysymyksiin Millainen lisärakennus palvelisi parhaiten käyttäjiään? sekä Miten lisärakennus muodostaisi yhtenäisen kokonaisuuden tontin muiden rakennusten kanssa? Tutkimusmenetelminä ovat valmiiden aineistojen sisällönanalyysi, havainnointi, vertaileva tutkimus ja haastattelu. Tutkimuksen aineisto on aiheeseen rajattu ammatti- ja muu kirjallisuus, verkkosivut, Rakennustiedon tietokanta, suunnitteluammattilaisten lehdet ja avoimet haastattelut.
Tutkimus osoittaa, että esteettömät ja käytännölliset tilat palvelevat käyttäjiään parhaiten. Lisäksi tutkimus osoittaa, että rakennus muodostaa yhtenäisen kokonaisuuden tontin muiden rakennusten kanssa noudattamalla perinteistä pihapiiriä. Tutkimus- ja suunnittelutyön tulos on Villa Stenberg -konseptisuunnitelma lisärakennuksesta, jonka toimivuus osoitetaan havainnekuvin, piirustuksin ja selostuksin. Suunnitelmassa huomioidaan erilaiset käyttäjät ensimmäisen kerroksen esteettömyyttä edistävillä tilaratkaisuilla.
Työ on toteutettu 4. opiskeluvuotena, maalis-lokakuussa, vuonna 2018.Recreational homes worldwide, including Finland, are gaining more and more popularity. In addition to having traditional summer cottages, it’s becoming increasingly common to buy and renovate old farms and buildings into unique recreational homes. Moreover, additional buildings are constucted on these old lots to match changing needs of modern families.
The Guesthouse Stenberg - Conceptual plan of guesthouse is a productive thesis, commisioned by interior design company Hanna C. & Co. The guesthouse is planned to be a secondary dwelling unit for Villa Stenberg, an old farm located in Lohja, Southern Finland. The owner of Villa Stenberg has a dream to build the guesthouse as part of her gradually enlarging, recreational village.
The objective of this study was to design and produce a conceptual plan of a guesthouse based on study and design process. The conceptual plan covers the design and look, spatial and location plan, and serves as a base plan for further planning. The purpose was to create a practical guesthouse with a fuctional spatial plan that respects the wishes of the owner, and fits harmoniously in the farmy neighbourhood. The study explores how to design a functional guesthouse and sauna, and how to design a guesthouse which fits harmoniously on an old lot.
The result of this study and design process is a conceptual plan of guesthouse. The functionality of the guesthouse is represented visually and verbally. The findings of the study suggest that improving accessibility leads to more user-friendly and functional design. The findings also suggest that following traditional layout and architecture of farm houses improves fitting new building harmoniously into farmy neighbourhood. A family of C0 finite elements for Kirchhoff plates I: error analysis

The method is a displacement formulation with the deflection and the rotation vector as unknowns, and it is based on ideas stemming from a stabilized method for the Reissner–Mindlin model [R. No full textThe autobiography by the priest Pehr Stenberg (1758–1824) was recently published in five parts. The hand-written manuscript consists of nearly 5,000 handwritten pages. The autobiography offers a good opportunity to study regional, but primarily social, linguistic variation. In this article we analyse how spoken language is represented in the autobiography with respect to sociolinguistic differentiation. We have concentrated on representation in direct discourse and free direct discourse. One of the starting points is that Stenberg could not possibly remember exactly how things were said. It is therefore interesting to analyse the features of speech that have been chosen to give the impression of authenticity. This is seen in the use of demonstrative pronouns, choice of dialogue words and the custom of address as it appears in dialogue. An interesting stylistic trait is a sort of intensified dialogue, where speech appears without a leading verb in free direct discourse. Stenberg's ambition with the autobiography is partly artistic, as testified by the fictionalized dialogue. Sometimes Stenberg is influenced by the subject at hand, as seen in the way he lets the interlocutors speak in a formal way that bears a resemblance to written language. This is seen where a religious or moral problem is discussed. It stands in sharp contrast to the fluent style that Stenberg strives for and puts to effect in the use of pronouns, dialogue words and forms of address
