Der Vortrag von Prof. Dr. Birgit Stark war Teil der Vortragsreihe Colloquium Fundamentale mit dem Thema "Polarisiert und desinformiert? Politische Information im digitalen Zeitalter“ und fand am 8. Februar 2024 am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie statt.

Multi-particle interactions within the UrQMD approach
No full textA mechanism for locally density-dependent dynamic parton rearrangement and fusion has been implemented into the Ultrarelativistic Quantum Molecular Dynamics (UrQMD) approach. The same mechanism has been previously built in the Quark Gluon String Model (QGSM). This rearrangement and fusion approach based on parton coalescence ideas enables the description of multi-particle interactions, namely 3 -> 3 and 3 -> 2, between (pre)hadronic states in addition to standard binary interactions. The UrQMD model (v2.3) extended by these additional processes allows to investigate implications of multi-particle interactions on the reaction dynamics of ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions. The mechanism, its implementation and first results of this investigation are presented and discussed

No full textDiamphipnoa colberti sp. n. (Figs. 1-6) Material examined. Holotype ♂ (pinned) from Chile, Maule, Pelluhue, along Rio Curanilahue, 26 November 2006, debu 00279411, S.A. Marshall (temporarily placed in the University of Guelph insect collection until a permanent depository in Chile can be arranged). Adult habitus. Occiput and anterior frons dark but pale around eyes and at antennal bases. Pronotum mostly dark but pale marginal areas of thorax with hint of red pigment (Fig. 1). Legs dark but with scattered oval pale spots and a narrow pale band at knee; tarsi black. Wings mottled. Cerci pale basally but dark in apical half. 4 Male. Forewing length 37 mm. Median apex of tergum 10 bearing a dark, U-shaped sclerite, prolonged on the caudal margin, and irregularly toothed along margin of tergum (Figs 2-3). Paraprocts apically bilobed and bearing 1 (right side) or 2 (left side) anterior spines (Figs. 2, 6); posterior margin of paraproct with a small, semicircular toothed sclerite bearing ca. 10 minute teeth. Epiproct apex shaped somewhat like the pistil of a flower with tip slightly expanded and notched in dorsal aspect, and bent caudad at a 90 ° angle in lateral aspect (Figs. 2-5); basal supports bear ca. 8-10 irregular teeth along dorsal margin and base of epiproct apex bears a single, median tooth which projects over basal supports. Female. Unknown. Larva. Unknown. Etymology. I am pleased to honor an entertaining, provocative, former American presidential candidate, Stephen Colbert, of The Colbert Report with this patronym. Diagnosis. This species is distinguished from other Diamphipnoa by the enlarged and notched dorsal aspect of the epiproct apex. I take traditional forms such as sketching, drawing, tracing- all on paper first, and then translate the work to my computer/screen. My work reflects my desire for consistency paired with adventure- comfortable, yet unexpected. I have a clean but dynamic aesthetic, specializing in hand-drawn details. It is about finding the perfect way to help a client visually express to their audience whatever it is they are trying to convey. I like to start out by understanding the company I am working for. By finding out who they are, what they do, and what they value, I am better able to brainstorm. I begin brainstorming ideas, words, images, and I start creating small thumbnails. I do this however many times I need to until I feel I have come up with a design that I think fits. My work is about incorporating my love for the tangible world via handcrafted creativity into a more digital world as an attempt to include a piece of myself into every design. It is about lifestyle, cleanliness, and conveying a clear, creative message. I design not just for companies and brands, but for personalities and environments characterized by visual beauty

der Reihe „Stark im Land im Gespräch:
Wirtschaftsfaktor Jugend“ in Annaberg-Buchholz
statt. Im Konferenzsaal des Gründer- und
Dienstleistungszentrums kamen rund 70
Teilnehmende aus Wirtschaft und Politik sowie
aus Bildungseinrichtungen und verschiedenen
Initiativen zusammen, um miteinander ins Gespräch
zu kommen. Die Veranstaltung sollte die
Möglichkeit bieten, gemeinsam darüber nachzudenken,
was junge Menschen motiviert, auf
dem Land zu bleiben – oder erstmals dorthin zu
ziehen. Es wurden Lösungsansätze diskutiert
und sich darüber ausgetauscht, welche Zukunftschancen
und Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten der

No full textProf. Dr. Jürgen Stark war von 2006 bis 2012 Chefvolkswirt und Mitglied im Direktorium der Europäischen Zentralbank (EZB). Am 9. September 2011 kündigte er an, „aus persönlichen Gründen“ zurückzutreten. Er sah im Ankauf von Staatsanleihen eine Mandatsüberschreitung der EZB, die seiner Auffassung nach dem Modell der Deutschen Bundesbank zufolge nicht politisch agieren, sondern primär der Geldwertstabilität verpflichtet sein sollte.
Im Rahmen der Hildesheimer Finanz-, Wirtschafts- und Währungsgespräche wurde Jürgen Stark eingehend über die Geschichte und Entwicklung des Stabilitäts- und Wachstumspakts, zur europäischen Einheitswährung sowie zu seinem Rücktritt von der EZB befragt. Seine Kritik am Agieren unter ihren Präsidenten Jean-Claude Trichet und Mario Draghi sowie am Corona Wiederaufbaufonds („NextGenerationEU“) wird in diesem Expertengespräch sowie mit einem Anhang rezenter Beiträge in deutschen Printmedien dokumentiert.

Gespräch: Jugend macht Heimat“ geht es um
Jugendbeteiligung im ländlichen Raum und das
Thema Heimat. Dabei steht die Frage im Mittelpunkt,
was Kinder und Jugendliche sich für ihre
ländlichen Wohnorte wünschen, damit sie sich
dort wohl fühlen. Um sich über Jugend und Heimat
auszutauschen und gemeinsam Ideen und
Lösungsansätze zu entwickeln, kamen am 16.
August 2018 in Eilenburg rund 40 Teilnehmende
zusammen. In der Eilenburger Galerie Bader
Scheune wurde einen Nachmittag lang intensiv
über Jugendbeteiligung und Heimat nachgedacht
