No full textWe calculate the equilibrium fraction of cooperators in a population in which payoffs accrue from playing a single-shot prisoner’s dilemma game. Individuals who are hardwired as cooperators or defectors are randomly matched into pairs, and cooperators are able to perfectly find out the type of a partner to a game by incurring a recognition cost. No full textTämän opinnäytetyön aiheena on rintamamiestalon sisustussuunnittelu sekä maallemuuton näkymät tulevaisuudessa. Puu- ja rakennustarvikemyymäläketju Stark tarjoaa asiakkailleen sisustussuunnittelupalvelua yritys- sekä yksityisasiakkaille. Kuopion liikkeen asiakas tarvitsi suunnitteluapua rintamamiestalonsa remontointiin. Suunnittelun tavoitteena oli tuottaa asiakkaalle alustavat sisustussuunnitelmat, joihin sisältyvät keittiö, märkätilat, pohjakuvat ja visualisoinnit. Toisena tavoitteena oli selvittää maallemuuton tulevaisuuden näkymiä.
Teoriaosiossa käydään läpi erilaisia tutkimuksia maallemuutosta. Näiden avulla kartoitetaan, millaisia ennusteita ja ajatuksia ihmisillä on maallemuutosta olemassa. Osiossa perehdytään lyhyesti myös rintamamiestalojen historiaan, sillä ne ovat oleellinen osa Suomen rakennushistoriaa ja ne ovat yleinen näky maaseudulla ja kaupunkien laitamilla.
Opinnäytetyössä on tehty kaksi vaihtoehtoa ensimmäisen kerroksen sisustukseen sekä yksi suunnitelma toiseen kerrokseen. Ensimmäinen kerros sisältää kaksi erilaista keittiötä ja tilajakoa, jolloin asiakkaalla on valinnanvaraa suunnitelmien suhteen. Toinen kerros sisältää uuden märkätilan ja tilajaon. Suunnitelmat vastaavat toimeksiantajan tapaa tuottaa sisustussuunnitelmia asiakkailleen. Lopputuloksena on alustavat sisustussuunnitelmat, joissa on noudatettu asiakkaan toiveita ja tarpeita. Asiakas voi näiden suunnitelmien perusteella päättää, toteuttaako sisustuksensa Starkin asiakkaana.The subject of this thesis is to create an interior design plan for a type of Finnish detached house built after the Second World War and the outlook of moving to the countryside in the future in Finland. Building material retailer and distributor STARK offers interior design as part of their services to private and business customers. One customer from the Kuopio store needed help with the interior design for their detached house renovation. The goal was to produce preliminary interior plans, which includes the kitchen, bathroom, layout, and visualizations. The other goal was to examine the outlook of moving to the countryside in the future.
The theoretical part of this thesis reviews previous studies regarding moving to the countryside, which shows the predictions and thoughts people have about the subject. This section also focuses briefly on the history of Finnish type of detached houses built after the Second World War. They are an integral part of Finnish history regarding buildings, and they are a common sight in the countryside and on the edges of cities.
The result of this thesis are two design options for the first floor as well as one design option for the second floor. The first floor has two different kitchens and layouts, so that the customer has options to choose from. The second floor has a bathroom and a layout plan. The interior designing corresponds to how the company does interior design for their customers. This results in preliminary interior design plans that takes customers’ needs and wants into account. The customer can then choose if they decide to continue the design process as a STARK customer
Perehdyttäjän oppaan luominen Stark Oy:lle
No full textTässä toiminnallisessa opinnäytetyössä on tuotettu perehdyttäjän opas STARK-ketjulle. Tavoitteena oli tehdä kysely henkilöstölle ja haastatella myymäläesimiestä ennen oppaan luomista, jotta perehdytyskäytänteitä saisi yhtenäistettyä, aikataulutettua ja selkeytettyä. Näiden pohjalta luotiin perehdyttäjän opas. Perehdyttäjän opas keskittyy myymälän ja noutopihan myyjien perehdytykseen ja on suunnattu myymäläesimiehille ja perehdyttäjille.
Oppaan toteuttamista varten tutustuttiin tammi-toukokuun 2020 aikana perehdyttämisen teoriaan ja mitä vaaditaan hyvän oppaan tekemiseltä. Lisäksi perehdyttiin sekä Stark Oy:n liiketoimintaan että olemassa oleviin perehdytyskäytänteisiin. Starkin esimiehille ja työntekijöille tehtiin kvantitatiivinen kysely olemassa olevista perehdytysmateriaaleista 20.4.-10.5.2020 ja kyselyyn vastasi yhteensä 16 henkilöä. Taustatietoja oppaan laatimiseksi saatiin myös myymäläesimieheltä kahdella tapaamisessa sekä sähköpostitse käydyissä keskusteluissa maalis-kesäkuun 2020 aikana. Lisäksi tekijä on tutustunut Stark Oy:n sähköiseen perehdytysjärjestelmään maalis-kesäkuun 2020 aikana. Enemmistö taustakyselyyn vastanneista koki Starkilla vuonna 2020 käytössä oleva perehdytysmateriaali selkeäksi. Oppaan teossa auttoi avoimista kysymyksistä tulleet vastaukset, missä vastaajat toivoivat selkeämpää jäsentelyä, perehdytysmateriaalia nimikkeittäin ja käytännön koulutusta lisättävän uuteen perehdytysmateriaaliin.
Oppaan rakenne on suunniteltu viikoilla 23-25/2020 ja se on toteutettu viikoilla 32-40/2020. Perehdyttäjän opas on tuotettu PowerPointilla ja toimitettu toimeksiantajalle sekä Power-Pointtina että PDF-tiedostona 1.11.2020. Opas sisältää tietoa perehdytyksestä ja siinä on jaoteltu perehdytykseen kuuluvat asiat ennen työntekijän saapumista, ensimmäisen päivän, ensimmäisen kolmen viikon sekä palaute ja päättäminen. Oppaassa on lopussa tarkistuslista myymäläesimiehille ja perehdyttäjille

Inequality and Migration: A Behavioral Link
No full textWe provide an analytical-behavioral explanation for the observed positive relationship between income inequality, as measured by the Gini coefficient, and the incentive to migrate. We show that a higher total relative deprivation of a population leads to a stronger incentive to engage in migration for a given level of a population’s income; that total relative deprivation is positively related to the Gini coefficient; and that, consequently, the Gini coefficient and migration are positively correlated, holding the population’s income constant.Income inequality, Relative deprivation, The Gini coefficient, The incentive to migrate
