His figure has a continental impact. His life and terrible death give an example. His political career, his peculiar personality, his original ideas are the object of study of this text. I was compeled to write this text after Reading valuable documents about this character in the mexican archives, country where he passed an important part of his life. This documents reveal moments in his history that where out of the attention of other biographers of Hinojosa.</p
Why did Andrey Kolmogorov deal with humanities?
The Soviet mathematician Andrey Nikolaevich Kolmogorov (1903‒1987), author of over half a thousand scientific works, was one of the most eminent mathematicians of the 20th century and at some point perhaps even the greatest. In the 1960s, Kolmogorov began intensive research into linguistics and verse theory after his fifties. Among other things, he is the author of a precise definition of a grammatical case, the determination of a metre of poems, in particular an iamb. The aim of this work is not only to explain the reasons why Kolmogorov dealt with humanities (history, linguistics, poetry theory). In this paper we would also like to emphacise the fact that the famous mathematician was successfully involved in humanities. It seems that not many Polish mathematicians who know some of Kolmogorov’s works in one or another mathematical field know, for example, about his literary works concerning the theory of verse. It may be suspected that many literary experts and linguists are also unaware of the existence of these works.

Title: Thin films of plasma polymers as stable supports for biomedical applications Author: Ivan Gordeev Institute: Charles University in Prague, Department of Macromolecular Physics Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: Doc. Ing. Andrey Shukurov, Ph.D, Charles University in Prague, Department of Macromolecular Physics. Abstract: Plasma polymers have been widely considered for use as bio-active coatings. In biomedicine, the surfaces that withstand accumulation of biofilms are of particular importance. This thesis is focused on development of new plasma-based methods for deposition of bio-resistant (non-fouling) plasma polymers. Poly(ethylene oxide) was the subject material. R.f. magnetron sputtering, plasma-assisted thermal vapour deposition and amplitude modulated atmospheric pressure surface dielectric barrier discharge were the methods adapted to fabricate thin films with tunable chemical composition, cross-link density and biological response. A new insight was gained into the processes of plasma polymerization as well as into composition/structure relationship and its effect on biological properties of resultant films. Keywords: plasma polymerization, PEO, 'non-fouling' properties, protein adsorption, cell adhesionNázev práce: Příprava tenkých vrstev plazmovou polymerací jako stabilních podložek pro biolékařské aplikace Autor: Ivan Gordeev Ústav: Univerzita Karlova v Praze, Katedra Makromolekulární Fyziky Vedoucí doktorské práce: Doc. Ing. ETHNIC IMAGES AND NATIONAL STEREOTYPES IN THE FANTASY-NOVEL GONITWA BY NICKY RAKITINA AND THE ACTION-PACKED NOVEL GOOD ANGEL OF DEATH BY ANDREY KURKOV
Artykuł dotyczy funkcjonowania etnoobrazów i stereotypów narodowych w rosyjskojęzycznej literaturze Białorusi i Ukrainy na przykładzie powieści fantasy młodej pisarki białoruskiej Niki Rakitinej Gonitwa oraz powieści sensacyjnej znanego pisarza ukraińskiego Andreja Kurkowa Dobry anioł śmierci. Wybrane do analizy utwory należą do różnych literatur narodowych i reprezentują odmienne gatunki literackie, mimo to przekonująco świadczą o artystycznym potencjale związanym z wykorzystaniem przez pisarzy współczesnych tradycji narodowych oraz podejmowaniem gry literackiej z narodowymi kodami i obrazami. On the example of the fantasy-novel Gonitva written by a young Belarusian author Nicky Rakitina and action-packed novel Good Angel of Death by Andrey Kurkov, the article presents an analysis of the way ethnic images and stereotypes function in the Russian-language literature of Belarus and Ukraine. Works chosen for the analysis belong to the different national literatures and different genres, but clearly indicate the prospects of how writers can turn their views on the national traditions and play with national codes and images
O literackim debiucie Andrieja Sobola
The article examines the early steps in the literature of a prominent Russian writer,
Andrey Sobol (1888–1926). The first published story A. Sobol himself pointed to was “Chelovek
s prozvischami” (A Man with Nicknames), which appeared in print in 1913. In fact, A. Sobol’s
literary debut took place much earlier – in 1904. As the author of the article believes, Sobol
attempted to cut out the first texts from his biography because these were unskillfully written.
However, it is important to consider his literary debut in order to understand the evolution which
Sobol accomplished from his early works to becoming an interesting and brilliant writer

Human motion trajectory prediction: a survey
With growing numbers of intelligent autonomous systems in human environments, the ability of such systems to perceive, understand, and anticipate human behavior becomes increasingly important. Specifically, predicting future positions of dynamic agents and planning considering such predictions are key tasks for self-driving vehicles, service robots, and advanced surveillance systems. This article provides a survey of human motion trajectory prediction. We review, analyze, and structure a large selection of work from different communities and propose a taxonomy that categorizes existing methods based on the motion modeling approach and level of contextual information used. We provide an overview of the existing datasets and performance metrics. We discuss limitations of the state of the art and outline directions for further research.Accepted Author ManuscriptIntelligent Vehicle
The hapiness and its search in De Beata Vita of Saint Augustine
Saint Augustine has the possession of God as the happiness of the harbor. Thus, we seethat with the De Vita Beata dialogue, the author offers na answer to this question, from a sense of happiness consists in the perfect knowledge of God. Thus, we will address that question in order to make it clear the Augustinian conception of happiness and human fulfillment.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES
Reorientation processes of tilted skyrmion and spiral states in a bulk cubic helimagnet Cu2OSeO3
We present a systematic study of tilted spiral states obtained theoretically within the classical Dzyaloshinskii model for magnetic states in cubic non-centrosymmetric ferromagnets. Such tilted spirals are shown to stabilize under the competing effect of cubic and exchange anisotropies inherent to cubic helimagnets. By focusing on the internal structure of these spirals and their field-driven behaviour for different aspect ratios of the anisotropy coefficients, we are able to capture the main features of the experimental findings in a bulk cubic helimagnet Cu2OSeO3 and to make a step further towards a complete quantitative model of this chiral magnet. In particular, we show that for strong anisotropy values (which experimentally correspond to low temperatures near zero) there exist an angular separation between the conical and tilted spirals, i.e., the conical spiral flips into a tilted state and immediately composes some finite angle with respect to the field direction. As the anisotropy ratio decreases, such a transition between two spiral states becomes almost continuous and corresponds to higher temperatures at the experiments. In addition, we investigate the field-driven reorientation of metastable skyrmion lattices induced by the competing anisotropies, which may be responsible for some peculiarities at the experimental phase diagrams of Cu2OSeO3.</p
