Pendidikan nonformal saat ini sudah hadir bersama-sama dengan pendidikan formal untuk memastikan tujuan pendidikan Nasional tercapai. Salah satu wadah dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan nonformal yang ada di Indonesia yaitu Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM). PKBM Mutiara merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan nonformal yang berada di Sumedang. Pengelola PKBM mempunyai peran penting terhadap keberhasilan sebuah PKBM, sehingga jika ingin meningkatkan layanan yang diberikan kepada warga belajar, pengelola PKBM harus mampu mengupayakan dan memberikan pelayanan yang bermutu, baik dari tutor, proses pembelajaran, sarana prasarana, dan anggaran pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) Situasi saat ini di PKBM Mutiara mengenai layanan satuan PKBM, 2) Kondisi layanan warga belajar PKBM di PKBM Mutiara, 3) Upaya untuk meningkatkan layanan warga belajar satuan PKBM di PKBM Mutiara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh didapatkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pengelola PKBM Mutiara, Tutor PKBM Mutiara, dan Warga belajar PKBM Mutiara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa situasi saat ini di PKBM Mutiara mengenai layanan satuan PKBM dapat dilihat dari tiga aspek yaitu aspek pembinaan, monitoring dan evaluasi, serta pelaporan. Adapun kondisi layanan warga belajar yang diberikan oleh PKBM Mutiara sudah mencukupi kebutuhan, pengelola dan tutor selalu memberikan perhatian serta motivasi dan layanan yang sangat memuaskan bagi warga belajarnya. Upaya dalam meningkatkan layanan warga belajar dilakukan oleh pengelola serta tutor di PKBM Mutiara dengan cara menambah media yang ada, menambah sumber belajar, meningkatkan fasilitas, serta membuat program life skill atau program mengenai kecakapan hidup.

Non-formal education is now present Together with formal education to ensure that national education goals are achieved. One of the forums in organizing non-formal education in Indonesia is the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM). PKBM Mutiara is one of the non-formal education institutions in Sumedang. PKBM managers have an important role in the success of a PKBM, so if you want to improve the services provided to learning citizens, PKBM managers must be able to strive for and provide quality services, both from tutors, learning processes, infrastructure, and learning budgets. The purpose of this thesis is to find out: 1) The current situation in PKBM Mutiara regarding PKBM unit services, 2) Conditions of service for citizens learning PKBM in PKBM Mutiara, 3) Efforts to improve services for citizens learning PKBM units in PKBM Mutiara. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive study approach. The data obtained were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants in this study were Mutiara PKBM Managers, Mutiara PKBM Tutors, and Citizens studying PKBM Mutiara. Based on the results of research conducted, it can be concluded that the current situation in PKBM Mutiara regarding PKBM unit services can be seen from three aspects namely the aspects of guidance, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting. As for the conditions of learning citizens services provided by PKBM Mutiara are sufficient, the managers and tutors always give attention and motivation and a very satisfying service for the learning citizens. Efforts to improve the service of learning citizens are carried out by managers and tutors at PKBM Mutiara by adding existing media, increasing learning resources, improving facilities, and making life skills programs or programs on life skills.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh merosotnya akhlak yang terjadi di dunia pendidikan. Banyak sekali kasus degradasi moral dalam dunia pendidikan seperti tawuran antar sekolah, pergaulan bebas, bahkan kasus penganiayaan guru yang dilakukan oleh oknum murid. Masalah akhlak tersebut, salah satunya karena mereka tidak dibekali ilmu tentang akhlak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa memberikan pemahaman murid terkait materi akhlak sangat penting.
Kitab Tanbihul Muta’allim karya Syeikh Ahmad Maisur Sindi, adalah salah satu kitab yang membahas mengenai akhlak yang diperlukan murid saat mencari ilmu, sehingga mereka menjadi generasi Muslim sesuai dengan tuntunan Islam.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mendeskripsikan konsep pendidikan akhlak dalam kitab Tanbihul Muta’allim karya Syeikh Ahmad Maisur Sindi, (2) mendeskripsikan relevansi akhlak peserta didik dalam kitab Tanbihul Muta’allim karya Syeikh AhmadaMaisur Sindi dengan kompetensi dasar Pendidikan Agama Islam SMP, (3) mendeskripsikan kelebihan dan kekurangan kitab Tanbihul Muta’allim karya Syeikh Ahmad Maisur Sindi.
Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research) dengan memanfaatkan sumber perpustakaan untuk memperoleh data penelitiannya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah
teknik dokumentasi. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan metode analisis isi (Content Analysis).
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Konsep pendidikan akhlak dalam kitab Tanbihul Muta’allim karya Syeikh Ahmad Maisur Sindi terdiri dari tujuh hal, yaitu (a) akhlak sebelum datang ke tempat belajar, (b) akhlak ketika
berada di tempat belajar, (c) akhlak sesudah belajar, (d) akhlak terhadap diri sendiri, (e) akhlak sopan santun kepada orang tua, (f) akhlak sopan santun kepada guru, (g)
akhlak sopan santun terhadap ilmu. (2) Relevansi antara konsep pendidikan akhlak dalam kitab Tanbihul Muta’allim karya Syeikh Ahmad Maisur Sindi dengan kompetensi dasar PAI SMP sangatlah relevan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan kitab
Tanbihul Muta’allim mengandung banyak konsep pendidikan akhlak yang selaras dengan materi dalam PAI jenjang SMP. (3) Kelebihan kitab Tanbihul Muta’allim menurut penulis ialah : (a) kitab klasik dengan bahasan ringkas dan spesifik terkait
akhlak yang harus dimiliki murid, (b) dimuat dalam bait syair berupa nadhom sehingga memudahkan murid untuk menghafal, (c) susunan kitab sistematis yaitu dengan mengklasifikasikan bentuk akhlak ke dalam bab. Kekurangan kitab ini ialah: (a) tidak memuat akhlak murid kepada teman atau lingkungan sekitar, (b) tidak memuat anjuran murid untuk berakhlakul karimah secara spesifik
