Multi sensor core logger measurements of sediment core SWERUS-C3-L2-13-PC

    No full text
Density and magnetic susceptibility of core SWERUS-C3-L2-13-PC were measured with a Geotek multi-sensor core logger. Density was measured by means of gamma ray absorption, magnetic susceptibility with a Bartington Instruments Ltd MSC loop. Also included are density and magnetic susceptibility residuals from linear regression

Natural remanent magnetization and demagnetization data of SWERUS-C3-L2-13-PC. Dataset also includes derived parameters

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Manganese, iron and calcium counts from X-Ray fluorescence measurements using the ITRAX core scanner at Stockholm University (Sweden). Also included are the coherent and incoherent scatter counts

Physical and chemical data of sediment core SWERUS-C3-L2-13-PC

Physical and chemical properties of core SWERUS-C3-L2-13-PC from the Arlis Plateau, Arctic Ocean. The dataset was used to integrate the core into the regional stratigraphy and evaluate its palaeo- and rock magnetic properties in this context. Physical and chemical properties were measured at Stockholm University (Sweden). Magnetic properties were measured at Uppsala University (Sweden)
