No full textSi presenta la vicenda del Formalismo russo sulla base di documenti e testi in lingua russa inediti in Italia cercando di riavviare la riflessione sul significato storico e sui contributi teorici e metodologici di questo movimento. Rispetto al profilo monolitico tracciato alle volte in passato dagli studi occidentali (soprattutto di impostazione strutturalista), si sottolineano le specificità dei tanti volti del formalismo, in primo luogo le divaricazioni fra Pietrogrado-Leningrado (Opojaz) e Mosca (Mlk). Particolare attenzione viene qui rivolta al contesto originale in cui la scuola formale ha sviluppato la sua posizione critica. Ne emerge un ritratto pieno di conflitti e differenti prospettive. In tal modo il suo apparato metodologico svela un complesso e problematico organismo teorico al quale dobbiamo le basi della teoria della letteratura. / We present the history of Russian formalism relying on texts and sources previously unpublished in Italy, with the aim to resume the discussion about the historical significance and the theoretical and methodological contribution of Formal school. In contrast to the monolithic profile of the movement, which has been often presented in western studies of the last decades (expecially by structuralists), we underline its many faces, paying attention, in the first place, to its historical vicissitudes, starting from the different experiences of the St. Petersburg (Opoyaz) and Moscow centres (Mlk). Focusing on the original context in which formalism developed its critical stances, we see emerge a lively portrait of it, full of conflicts, reversals and evolving perspectives. Its theoretical and methodological apparatus thus reveals the complex and problematic theoretical organism to which we owe the foundation of the theory of literature. / Предоставляем историю русского формализма на основе источников и текстов неопубликованных в Италии, с целью заново открыть дискуссию об историческом значении и о теоретическом и методологическом вкладе формальной школы. В противоположность монолитному облику, который иногда придавали движению но западные исследования (преимущественно структуралистические), мы подчеркнуем многолик формализма и его исторические перипетии, начиная с различных опытов в центрах Петербурга (Опояз) и Москвы (Млк). Акцентированное внимание на оригинальный контекст, в котором формализм развивал свои критические позиции, помогает проследить живой портрет его, полный конфликтов, поворот и новых перспектив. Его методологической аппарат таким образом раскрывает сложный и проблемный теоретический организм, к которым мы обязаны основы теории литературы

No full textSi presentano alcuni testi di Michail Bachtin venuti alla luce con l'edizione russa della Sobranie sočinenij (Raccolta delle opere, 1997-2012), uno dei quali (Il problema del sentimentalismo) si offre qui in prima traduzione italiana. Ne emerge un ridimensionamento della centralità del comico e del carnevalesco nel pensiero dello studioso russo, e appaiono di contro valorizzati aspetti antieroici, patetici, intimistici, dell’esistenza, che rimandano al ruolo decisivo della "serietà non ufficiale" quale componenti costitutiva del realismo moderno e della morfologia storica del genere romanzo . Ci si sofferma quindi sulla riflessione bachtiniana intorno alle forme dell'autobiografia, con particolare attenzione al genere della confessione
Spatial analysis of the opportunities: a parameter to define urban accessibility
No full textComplexity and a strong cultural identity are the main characters of the historical urban landscape of the city of Cagliari. Scientific researchers have to deal with them in order to deeply understand the system of relations and to uncover features that are useful in the formation of an high - quality urban environment. The article aims to evaluate accessibility through the historical neighbourhoods of Cagliari, following the European Union Horizon 2020 directions to foster competitive and innovative assets. These propose the establishment of an efficient European transport system able to improve the level of accessibility through all the urban users, strongly enhancing their quality of life. Accessibility is an essential indicator to evaluate urban quality, because it highlights places where a lack of access to urban facilities and amenities leads to social exclusion or, on the contrary, where a good level of access to urban resources contributes to improve urban quality. The accessibility in the context of Cagliari is described using three indicators that measure the spatial distribution of opportunities, which represent the system of urban resources. The results give a first image of how the access to resources is distributed through the historical city and suggest some reflections for further researches

Da queste pagine lo scrittore francese mostra di rappresentare per il pensatore russo una figura molto più importante di quanto si supponesse finora. Fra i tanti motivi di estremo interesse qui presenti segnaliamo la riflessione sul ruolo degli animali in letteratura in riferimento al tema flaubertiano della bêtise – con aperture teoriche che troveranno ampie conferme negli studi letterari degli anni più recenti – e, ad essa legato, l’insistito richiamo sulla «possibilità di una visione del mondo completamente diversa», che ammetta la «curvatura» dello spazio e del tempo, quale presupposto della parola romanzesca

No full textEdizione italiana della monografia di Deborah Haynes Bachtin e le arti visive. Lo studio è dedicato all’importanza delle idee di Michail Bachtin in riferimento alla pittura e alla scultura. In particolare nei suoi primi quattro saggi sull’estetica, scritti tra il 1919 e il 1926, e prima che cominciasse a dirigere la sua attenzione su categorie linguistiche e letterarie, Bachtin ha messo a punto una più ampia filosofia della creatività. In questo lavoro Deborah Haynes riflette sulla proposta estetica del pensatore russo, in particolare sulla sua teoria della creatività, analizzando la sua possibile applicabilità alla teoria e alla critica dell'arte contemporanea. Secondo Haynes, grazie alle categorie di “responsabilità”, “exotopia” e “incompiutezza”,Bachtin offre una base concettuale per interpretare le dimensioni morali dell’attività creativa.
Italian edition of Deborah Hanynes' monography Bakhtin and the Visual Arts. This research assesses the relevance of Mikhail Bakhtin's ideas as they relate to painting and sculpture. First published in the 1960s, Bakhtin's writings introduced the concepts of carnival and dialogue or dialogism, which have had significant impact in such diverse fields as literature and literary theory, philosophy, theology, biology and psychology. In his four early aesthetic essays, written between 1919 and 1926, and before he began to focus on linguistic and literary categories, Bakhtin worked on a larger philosophy of creativity, which was never completed. Deborah Haynes's in-depth 1995 study of his aesthetics, especially his theory of creativity, analyses its applicability to contemporary art theory and criticism. The author argues that Bakhtin, with such categories as answerability, outsideness and unfinalizability, offers a conceptual basis for interpreting the moral dimensions of creative activity

No full textThis contribution aims at proposing a reflection on the encounter between the theoretical and methodological development of the Opoyaz with rhetoric as a doctrine and a practice of persuasive speech, oriented on to the audience and on its possible answers. We will focus in particular on Boris Eikhenbaum’s article devoted to the style of Lenin's speeches (Osnovnye stilevye tendentsi v rechi Lenina, published in “Lef” 1, 1924, revised and republished in 1927 with the title of Oratorsky stil’ Lenina), written when the formalist experience starts to be forcibly stopped by historical circumstances. In this essay, Eikhenbaum’s analysis withdraws from the territory canonically pertaining to the domain of poetic language, to explore its suburbs: at the edge between literary and extra-literary sphere, between poetry and byt, there exists a hybrid zone of expressive strategies and practical needs, of historical impulses and creative urgencies. Through the stylistic analysis of Lenin’s discourse, Eikhenbaum more and more precisely circumscribes the sphere of persuasive words, the field of rhetoric, where multiple purposes, rooted in the hic et nunc and a profusion of proceedings, intonations, syntactic architectures, rhythmic patterns intersect each other and coexist. The problem of present and past relationships between literature and society, of that border area that the essay on Lenin has shown as dense of theoretical and methodological stimuli, will therefore occupy more and more the time and the interests of Eikhenbaum and of the other formalists, and will often touch issues concerning the persuasive public speech, problems that constitutionally go beyond the imperative of the textual immanence

No full textLa tradizionale trattazione cronologica tipica dei manuali è stata superata in questo volume da un'esposizione per percorsi dedicati alle competenze fondamentali e irrinunciabili dello studio della letteratura e al contempo attenti ai cambiamenti in atto nel sistema della cultura contemporanea nonché al ruolo che l’esperienza letteraria svolge in un contesto transnazionale e di costitutiva transmedialità. Vengono dunque esaminate alcune grandi aree della disciplina come la narratologia, lo studio del testo poetico, la retorica, puntando a valorizzarne gli sviluppi teorici e le applicazioni pratiche nell’analisi critica dei testi letterari, e si riflette inoltre sulle diverse relazioni fra letteratura e altre aree del sapere umanistico come per esempio l'antropologia, la traduttologia, le Medical Humanities, la geocritica, gli studi di genere, le Digital humanities
