Metamorfosi del teatro
No full textIl teatro è un genere complesso, nel quale il piano testuale e il piano recitativo si trovano in una relazione di reciproca solidarietà. Ciò costituisce la ricchezza indiscutibile di questo genere, capace di piegarsi alle più diverse regie ed interpretazioni sceniche, ad innumerevoli adattamenti e rimediazioni. Da un punto di vista strettamente linguistico, il genere teatrale ha ospitato nel corso dei secoli i linguaggi più disparati, avvalendosi secondo le epoche e gli autori di registri linguistici e/o dialettali molto diversi tra loro. Nel teatro contemporaneo poi si assiste a una vera e propria tendenza, da parte di svariati autori, a ricorrere in una stessa opera a codici linguistici e addirittura semiotici alquanto differenti, nello sforzo di inscrivere la multiculturalità e il meticciato anche a livello espressivo. Nel n. 14 de “La Torre di Babele” vorremmo quindi sondare la coesistenza di tale mescolanza di registri e di codici linguistici e semiotici nell’opera teatrale, per cercare di approfondirne i significati.
I contributi letterari a questo numero de La Torre di Babele dovranno anche proporre riflessioni sulle specificità e sulla natura del segno teatrale, su come la complessa interrelazione tra testo drammatico e performance (o spettacolo) abbia dato vita, fin dalle origini del teatro, a infinite possibilità espressive e sugli elementi materiali che influenzano la produzione teatrale, tra cui il contesto rappresentativo, l’apporto attoriale e i condizionamenti socio-politici. Gli articoli metteranno a fuoco, dunque, i principi e le caratteristiche dell’estetica teatrale in quanto letteratura che si compie e si metamorfizza nell’hic et nunc dell’esperienza scenica, incessantemente diversa e produttrice di significati sempre nuovi
