Marcantonio Raimondi e i nordici
In this article the author proposes an overall reconsideration of the relationships of Marcantonio Raimondi with the Nordic engravers, paying constant attention to the surviving sources. Furthermore, a new analysis of some passages from the Vita di Marcantonio Bolognese, e d’altri intagliatori di stampe by Giorgio Vasari has allowed a different interpretation of the Italian reception of some prints by Lucas van Leyden as well as of the Portrait of Pietro Aretino executed by Marcantonio: one of the masterpieces of European Renaissance engraving, which, for the first time, is being read here in the light of knowledge of a genre of portraiture emerged in Norhtern Europe in the early 1500s, that combines bust portraits with elegant Latin (and Greek) epigraphs - very significative for Marcantonio has been some famous engravings by Albrecht Dürer

Assessing plant diversity in a network of protected areas: quantitative tools for diversity monitoring and reserve selection
Le tonalità emotive nel pensiero dell'appropriazione. La formazione dell'animo nel dolore come unità delle "Stimmungen".
With this article, the author’s aim is to examine the Heidegger’s theory of pain in "Das Ereignis". Starting from a delineation of the goals of the unpublished treatises and of the concept of "Ereignis", the author will first show the crucial role played by "Stimmungen" in the other beginning, through which Heidegger wants to think the Being differently from metaphysics; the author will do this highlighting all the conceptual and linguistic sperimentalism used by the German philosopher in such writings. At this point will be displayed how in "Das Ereignis", the last treatise, the pain emerges not only as the most important "Stimmung", but also as the unity of all attunements considered by Heidegger up to that moment. Finally, the author will illustrate how with the "Ereignis-Denken" is so at stake the formation of a thought
founded on the heart and on the temperament (Gemüt), and not on a representative consciousness

Plant biodiversity of beech forests in central-northern Italy: a methodological approach for conservation purposes
Forests are reckoned essentials as biodiversity reservoirs and carbon sinks. Current threats to forest ecosystems (e.g., climate changes, habitat loss and fragmentation, management changes) call for monitoring their biodiversity and preserving their ecological functions. In this study, we characterized plants diversity of five beech forests located in central and north Apennines mountain chain, using results by a probabilistic sampling. In order to achieve our goals, we have considered species richness and abundance, taxonomic distinctness and species composition, using both old and new analytical approaches. Results have shown how: (1) the forest type dominated by Fagus sylvatica is characterized by high complexity, with marked compositional, structural and biodiversity differences; (2) beech forests of Pigelleto di Piancastagnaio and Valle della Corte show the highest plants diversity values. The ecological characteristics of these areas, which sustain high diversity values, are unique and of great conservation interest; (3) the use of species richness as the only diversity measure have not allowed an efficient differentiation between studied areas. Indeed, the use of different indexes and analytical methods is required to detect multiple characteristics of biological diversity, as well as to carry out efficient biodiversity surveys aimed to develop optimal conservation strategies. In the future, we plan to apply the sampling methodology and the analytical approach used in this paper to characterize plants diversity of similar forest types
La struttura dei trattati inediti di Heidegger
The subject of this article are Heidegger’s unpublished treatises written between the second half of the 1930s and the first half of the 1940s. In particular, the author aims to show that, far from being real treatises – systematic texts with a consequential structure – these unpublished works can be regarded as conceptual laboratories, as well as the building ground of Heidegger’s mature thought. The object of this thought is the concept of "Ereignis", not surprisingly the fil rouge that links all the treatises together. The basic objective of the author’s study is to show how it is the particular essence of the event of being that calls for the speculative approach, and hence the distinctive formulation, of the texts of each of the "Abhandlungen"
L'allievo santo.
Thanks to a new analysis of some passages from the Life of Marcantonio Raimondi, both in the printed version of Felsina pittrice and in the manuscript submitted by Carlo Cesare Malvasia in 1677 to the approval of the Inquisition, the author proposes a more complete evaluation of the role that Malvasia recognizes to Albrecht Dürer, with new considerations on the autography of his prints, on their importance in the artistic training of Marcantonio Raimondi, on their widespread collecting in Bologna shortly after the mid-seventeenth century
Techno-economic evaluation of ozone-oxidation for sludge reduction at the full-scale. Comparison between the application to the return activated sludge (RAS) and the sludge digestion unit
Ozone oxidation was applied to a fraction (30 %) of the return activated sludge (RAS) of a full-scale Wastewater Treatment Plant for reducing the high sludge production (20 t/week). The amount of sludge sent to final disposal was decreased by 50 % and 75 % at 0.55 kgO3/h and 0.80 kgO3/h dosage, respectively. When the same ozonation system was applied to the aerobic digestion (0.06, 0.50, 0.67 kgO3/h), the reduction was 27–77 %. A thorough economic analysis was carried out considering the overall sludge quantity finally extracted from the plant in the presence and absence of ozonation, the corresponding costs of final disposal and the ozone oxidation operation costs. The net cost saving for sludge disposal was calculated to be 66.6 €/d and 109.9 €/d due to ozone in the return activated sludge at the two dosages, respectively. When ozonation was applied to the recycled sludge of the digestion unit, the net cost saving was in the range 235–655 €/d, depending on the reduction percentage achieved. The ozone oxidation showed to become economically convenient for a sludge disposal cost lower than that sustained by the Company. The results obtained prove feasibility of ozonation for sludge reduction in both locations of the WWTP: therefore, with respect to other disintegration techniques, ozonation possesses a high technical and economic advantage along with a high versatility. Furthermore, it is also shown the feasibility of lowering the applied dosages with respect to the past experiences, since effectiveness of the system is still guaranteed
