    The Influence of Work Motivation and Job Satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (Study on Human Resources Division of PT Bank Sumut Head Office in Medan)

    Human resources are required to have a competitive advantage in an effort to support the continuity of optimal company performance. The behavior that is demanded by the company today is not only in-role behavior or work according to job description, but also extra-role where the extra contribution to completing work from the company is known as Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work motivation and job satisfaction on OCB in employees of the Human Resources Division of PT Bank Sumut Head Office in Medan. The influence between work motivation and job satisfaction will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on OCB. The form of research used in this study is quantitative research with an associative approach. Sampling was carried out through a saturated sampling technique using 31 respondents as a sample. The primary data used in this study was obtained by distributing questionnaires directly to employees while secondary data was obtained through literature studies. The data analysis techniques used are validity test and reliability test. The data analysis methods used are classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis tests. The results showed that the work motivation variable (X1) had a positive and significant effect on OCB (Y) with a tvalue of 3.213 > 2.048 with a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05. The job satisfaction variable (X2) had a positive and significant effect on OCB (Y) with a tvalue of 2.611 > 2.048 with a significance value of 0.014 < 0.05. In the simultaneous test (together), it was shown that the variables of job motivation and job satisfaction had a simultaneous effect on organizational citizenship behavior with an influence level of 37.1% while the remaining 62.9% is influenced by other factors outside this study.169 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    Globalization brings about very rapid changes in the business environment and increasing competition. These changes present a new challenge for every company to be able to survive and be the best. Human Resources (HR) are one of the critical factors in the success of a company. Employees play a crucial role as thinkers, planners, drivers, and active controllers of company activities. Therefore, companies need to give special attention to their employees, where employees are not just assets but also partners in the business. The purpose of this study analyze how the impact of remuneration, work engagement, and job promotion on employee morale at PT. Alamjaya Wirasentosa. The impact of remuneration, work engagement, and job promotion will be analyzed both partially and simultaneously on employee morale. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The sample was taken through purposive sampling with 76 respondents as the sample. Primary data in this research was obtained through direct questionnaire distribution, interviews, and observation, while secondary data was obtained through literature studies. The data analysis method used is validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis test. The results of the research conducted show that the variables remuneration (X1), work engagement (X2), and job promotion (X3) significantly influence employee morale, and all free variables simultaneously influence employee morale. The coefficient of determination shows a strong relationship between remuneration (X1), work engagement (X2), and job promotion (X3) and employee morale with an R value of 0.734. Through the adjusted R square, it is also known that the variables remuneration (X1), work engagement (X2), and job promotion (X3) contribute 52% to the variable employee morale, while the rest 48% is also influenced by other variables not discussed in this research.161 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    BRI regional office Medan is one of the BRI regional office representatives in North Sumatra province and is located in the city of Medan. In carrying out its business activities, BRI regional office Medan has several products including KECE loans which are inseparable from the risk of non-performing loans caused by several factors, namely internal factors consisting of the bank's low ability to analyze credit demand feasibility, integrity weaknesses and supervisory weaknesses as well as external factors consisting of natural disasters, declining debtor economic conditions and unfavorable debtor character. The application of good risk management can minimize the risk of non-performing loans in KECE loans so that non performing loans can be minimized. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that cause non performing credit risk on KECE loans at the BRI regional office Medan and to identify and analyze risk management in minimizing the risk of non performing credit on KECE loans at the BRI regional office Medan. The form of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Determination of informants was carried out through a purposive sampling technique and used 5 informants as sources of information. Primary data in this study were obtained from observations of daily activities in the field, as well as data from interview questions with informants while secondary data were obtained from literature reviews, such as previous studies and material obtained from books related to risk management. as well as secondary data obtained from documents obtained in the field during the research. The results of the research conducted concluded that: (1) Non performing loans on KECE loans at the BRI regional office Medan are caused by internal and external factors.     The development of globalization makes many companies compete for the market share. Companies improve each other to have readiness to survive in change supported by the readiness of their employees. In this case, the performance of PT Telkom Witel Medan employees has decreased as seen from the number of IndiHome market shares in recent years. This research is intended to determine the effect of self-efficacy, job satisfaction and perceived organizational support on the performance of BGES Division employees at PT Telkom Witel Medan. The influence of the three variables will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on employee performance. The form used in this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. Sampling was carried out through a non-probability sampling technique using a saturated sample of 47 respondents. The primary data used in this research was obtained by distributing questionnaires and interviews while the secondary data was obtained through a literature study. The data analysis method used is validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this research showed that the self efficacy (X1), job satisfaction (X2) and perceived organizational support (X3) have a positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on employee performance (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a fairly close relationship between self-efficacy, job satisfaction and perceived organizational support on employee performance with the value of R equals 0.881. Through the value of the adjusted R square it is also known that the variables of self-efficacy, job satisfaction and perceived organizational support contribute 75.9% to employee performance variables while the remaining 24.1% are influenced by other variables which is not discussed in this study.183 HalamanSkripsi Sarjan

    Mixue is a franchise company that sells ice cream with a very soft texture and tea drinks originating from China which has started its business expansion to Southeast Asia, one of which is in Indonesia. Mixue became popular on social media due to the rapid spread of its outlet branches in Indonesia so that it went viral on various social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, and Tik Tok Mixue then social media users gave Mixue the nickname “pemburu ruko kosong” or "empty shop hunter". This study aims to determine how the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) on purchasing decisions, determine how Brand Awareness influences purchasing decisions, and determine how the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) and Brand Awareness on Mixue Purchasing Decisions in Medan City. The research method used in this research is quantitative method with associative approach. Sampling was carried out using nonprobability sampling techniques (purposive sampling) and used 100 respondents from 10 universities in Medan City as samples. The results of this study indicate that Electronic Word Of Mouth (X1) and Brand Awareness (X2) simultaneously (together) have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions (Y) Mixue for students in Medan City. The results of the correlation coefficient value show that the relationship between Electronic Word Of Mouth and Brand Awareness on purchasing decisions is quite strong. The coefficient of determination above shows that the Electronic Word Of Mouth and Brand Awareness variables can explain the purchasing decision variable.     Nostalgia marketing refers to a marketing technique that leverages elements of the past. This strategy aims to evoke memories, triggering emotional responses that influence consumers' willingness to pay for a product. Netflix, as one of the major companies with a strong brand image, also employs nostalgia marketing strategies. Brand image represents the perception formed in consumers' minds regarding a particular brand. This study aims to examine the influence of nostalgia marketing and brand image on willingness to pay. The influence of nostalgia marketing and brand image will be analyzed both partially and simultaneously in relation to the willingness to pay of Netflix users in Medan. This research used a quantitative approach with an associative design. The population of this study consists of Netflix users in Medan, with a sample size of 96 respondents, determined through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include primary data, obtained through direct distribution of questionnaires, and secondary data, gathered from literature studies. The analysis methods applied are validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, partial tests, simultaneous tests, and determination tests, all processed using SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that Nostalgia Marketing (X1) and Brand Image (X2) have a significant partial and simultaneous effect on Willingness to Pay (Y). The determination coefficient test results show a strong relationship between nostalgia marketing and brand image, with an R-value of 0.762. Based on the Adjusted R Square value, it is shown that the variables nostalgia marketing and brand image contribute 57.2%, while the remaining 42.8% is influenced by factors outside of this research model.112 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

This research was conducted at the Mercedes-Benz A8 Garage Workshop Medan with the aim of finding out the role of leaders and the work environment in improving team collaboration. The form of research used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data in this research consists of primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Data validity method in this research using data triangulation technique. The research findings prove that the workshop has not been completely successful in communicating because the efforts of the Mercedes-Benz A8 Garage Workshop Medan leader have not been completely good for their employees. Regarding communication, employees find it difficult to convey opinions and ideas to leaders. Regarding the work environment at the Mercedes-Benz A8 Garage Workshop Medan, changes are needed to support the work of employees, especially in terms of main and supporting equipment. On the other hand, there are concerns related to perceived risk that affects users' confidence in making transactions, considering the risk of data leakage and digital security is increasingly becoming a major concern. These two factors can potentially influence users' decisions to continue using or switch from the Gopay application. This study aims to determine the effect of perceived ease of use and perceived risk on using the Gopay application in Medan City. The impact between perceived ease of use and perceived risk will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on the decision to use the Gopay application in Medan City. The form of research used in this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The population in this study were users of the Gopay application in Medan City. The number of samples in this study was 96 respondents with sampling techniques using purposive sampling. The primary data used in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly while secondary data were obtained through literature studies. The data analysis methods used are instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that perceived ease of use and perceived risk have a positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on the decision to use the Gopay application in Medan City. The correlation coefficient (R) value is 0.922, which means that there is a relationship between the variable's perceived ease of use (X1) and perceived risk (X2) on usage decisions (Y) of 92.2% so that the relationship between these variables can be categorized as very close. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.846 or the coefficient of determination shows that the variables perceived ease of use (X1) and perceived risk (X2) on usage decisions (Y) are 84.6%, while the remaining 15.4% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.162 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    Financial distress is a stage of decline in financial conditions that occurs before bankruptcy occurs. The phenomenon of financial distress can occur for various reasons, but very often the cause of financial distress is due to problems with company management. One of the efforts made to overcome financial distress is to apply good corporate governance (GCG). The porpose of this study is to test whether good corporate governance has an influence on financial distress. The good corporate governance structures used in this study are institutional ownership, independent commissioners, and audit committees. This type of research is quantitative research. The data in this study is secondary data obtained through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2021. The sampling method used was purposive sampling method and a total sample of 8 companies was obtained. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 26 program. The results of this study indicate that institutional ownership has a significant influence with a negative relationship towards financial distress. Independent commissioners and audit committee have insignificant influence on financial distress. This study aims to determine the effect of green marketing and brand awareness on consumer loyalty of The Body Shop in Medan city. This research uses a quantitative approach with associative methods, using purposive sampling techniques to take samples and 96 respondents as samples. The primary data of this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly or through google form, while secondary data were obtained through literature studies. The data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the Green Marketing variable (X1) and the Brand Awareness variable (X2) had a positive and significant effect partially or simultaneously on the Consumer Loyalty variable (Y).
