MannaKDT : uma abordagem prática para aprendizagem multimodal e multidimensional da educação 5.0

Uma dessas áreas foi a educação, mais precisamente, as metodologias de ensino no âmbito presencial. A difusão de conhecimento em áreas como STEAM (acrônimo de Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) foi comprometida. Visto que essa modalidade de ensino foi, em grande parte, suspendida, uma série de questões de pesquisa emergiram. Tais questões são elencadas a seguir: (i) como auxiliar um aluno em processo de aprendizagem remoto?; (ii) como transmitir conhecimento sem estar dentro de uma sala de aula?; (iii) como viabilizar o acesso a educação remota?; (iv) como integrar o aluno ao cenário pós-pandemia, unindo as modalidades de ensino remota e presencial? Diante disso, buscando soluções para tais questões, este trabalho propõe uma metodologia para viabilizar o ensino e a difusão do conhecimento em espaços de aprendizagem informal (e.g., em domicílio) ou semiformal (e.g., contraturno escolar, empresas, maker spaces), promovendo uma nova forma de ampliar e melhorar as relações com o conhecimento e com atenção as diferenças entre os alunos. Para alcançar esse objetivo esta pesquisa desenvolveu uma abordagem prática na educação 5.0 que contém a criação do ambiente de ensino, a aplicação de kits de eletrônica, robótica e IoT e a aplicação de pré e pós-testes avaliativos. A preparação para o ambiente contém uma abordagem multimodal visual, auditiva e cinestéica e que também envolve a abordagem presencial, online e híbrida. Em seguida foram utilizados dois kits educacionais desenvolvidos pelo grupo Manna que busca difundir conhecimento sobre eletrônica, robótica e IoT. Esses kits são chamados de MannaVolt (eletrônica) e MannaIno (robótica e IoT). Os alunos foram expostos a aulas remotas, vídeo-aulas e praticaram presencialmente a montagem de circuitos. Para avaliar a evolução da aprendizagem e o conhecimento obtido do aluno, foram desenvolvidos pré e pós-testes que verificam o desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico e cognitivo do aluno. Com os resultados obtidos, constatou-se que a aplicação dos cursos, juntamente com a criação do ambiente multimodal, auxiliou no despertar do interesse do aluno em áreas tecnológicas em meio a pandemia, alé da compreensão, raciocínio lógico e pensamento crítico e computacional do alunoABSTRACT: The COVID-19 pandemic affected several areas of society over the years 2020 and 2021. One of these areas was education, precisely, teaching methodologies in the face-to-face environment. The diffusion of knowledge in areas such as STEAM (acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) was compromised. As this teaching modality was largely suspended, a number of research questions emerged. Such issues are listed below: (i) how to help a student in the remote learning process?; (ii) how to transmit knowledge without being inside a classroom?; (iii) how to enable access to remote education?; (iv) how to integrate the student into the post-pandemic scenario, combining the modalities of remote and face-to-face teaching? Therefore, seeking solutions to such questions, this work proposes a methodology to enable the teaching and dissemination of knowledge in informal learning spaces (e.g., at home) or semi-formal (e.g., after school hours, companies, maker spaces), promoting a new way of expanding and improving relationships with knowledge and paying attention to differences between students. To achieve this objective, this research developed a practical approach in education 5.0 that contains the creation of the teaching environment, the application of electronics, robotics and IoT kits and the application of pre- and post-evaluative tests. Preparing for the environment contains a multimodal visual, auditory and kinesthetic approach that also involves face-to-face, online and hybrid approaches. Then, two educational kits developed by the Manna group were used, which seeks to spread knowledge about electronics, robotics and IoT. These kits are called MannaVolt (electronics) and MannaIno (robotics and IoT). The students were exposed to remote classes, video classes and face-to-face practice in building circuits. To assess the evolution of learning and the knowledge obtained from the student, pre- and post-tests were developed to verify the development of the student’s critical and cognitive thinking. With the results obtained, it was found that the application of the courses, together with the creation of the multimodal environment, helped to awaken the student’s interest in technological areas in the midst of the pandemic, in addition to the understanding, logical reasoning and critical and computational thinking of the student111 f. : il. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
