    Dr. Tahir Taunsvi is a well-known and acclaimed researcher, critic, and poet of Urdu language and literature. His, more than seventy remarkable books (compilations and compositions) are a great contribution to Urdu research and criticism. He has also written more than three hundred valuable research articles. He introduced many literary personalities to the arena of the Urdu language and literature. Prominent Indian researcher and critic Syed Masood Hassan Rizvi Adeeb and his literary dimensions are an important field of Dr. Tahir Taunsvi’s research work.     Consciousness as the Self-Embedded Illusion of Conscious Frames: A Thought Experiment on the Illusory Continuity of the Self in a Static Universe

    This thought experiment proposes a novel metaphysical hypothesis: that consciousness consists of isolated, static frames embedded within a non-dynamic, block universe. Each frame is an independent, self-contained configuration with embedded illusions of memory, anticipation, and continuity. There is no actual movement of consciousness through time; rather, the subjective impression of temporal progression arises from informational structures within each discrete frame. This work, termed the Self-Embedded Illusion of Conscious Frames (SEICF) theory, arose spontaneously through introspective reasoning influenced by the concept of a four-dimensional spacetime. While not developed through formal philosophical or scientific methods, the hypothesis aligns with certain themes in the philosophy of time, metaphysics of identity, and cognitive science. Its speculative nature invites interdisciplinary engagement and provides a provocative lens through which to explore the problem of consciousness and temporal experience.     Global Warming is one of the greatest environmental threats of the 21st century. Many parties around the world like governments, corporations, and researchers, etc. are working hard to find solutions. Architectural education is concerned with global warming issues, and trying to achieve reliable design related solutions for a sustainable environment. Majority of the students use simulation programs to determine with accuracy some variables that can support designers to take decisions about the best strategies to apply for any type of building. These simulation programs are usually selected based on their straightforward and user-friendly interface. The most common programs among architecture students at the Beirut Arab University are Ecotect, DesignBuilder and CFD. However, not all the results are precise nor are they based on an accurate scientific basis. This paper will discuss the scientific background, interface, and capability of these programs. In addition compare them in order to establish their differences, besides a brief overview about energy simulation concepts. In addition the research will conduct a survey measuring the awareness and benefit of the three programs among students as a design decision supporting tool. Furthermore students that already implemented these programs in their design will be selected, to show how they dealt with these programs and how these programs interfered with their design decision making. The selection of the students will show the appropriate year to add this program as a supporting tool for architectural design studio

    Despite the drifts towards globalization, regions and cities are emerging as the main arenas for international competitiveness. Cities are turning out to be as communities of knowledge, innovation, and creativity, yet becoming more complex, dynamic, diverse, and intangible. In this context, new strategies and approaches must be considered. Proposing a science park bridges the gap between education, research and industries. It could develop a creative urban regeneration processes, educational development and economic growth. Initiating the project with a sustainable approach will increase knowledge and develop innovated solutions in common areas as water management, alternative forms of energy, oil and gas extraction, industrial advancement, and sustainable urban development. The paper is going to discuss the feasibility of applying a science park in Lebanon as a case study for Middle Eastern developing countries. Applying these strategies on slum areas will improve the urban fabric and enhance the infrastructure of the neighborhood. Ten International case studies that augmented their regions around the world are analyzed to achieve the most efficient science park program that fits the local context. Furthermore, the adopted strategy could be applied in any developing country with similar contexts

    Achieving a Safer Construction Environment with BIM for Safety Framework

    The current research aims to provide a general framework of a BIM-based safety system. The safety verification system intends to improve the safety status in the construction field. This study provides the main components of the current approach. Background: Among the high-risk industries, the construction industry bears many fatalities and injuries each year. Thus, to have a practical site inspection, monitoring, and training, the AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and operation) is gradually integrating new digital technologies such as building information modelling (BIM), automatic rule checking, Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR). Method: The Framework is divided into two main approaches, a fully automated and a fully manual method, adopting Automated rule checking and AR/VR, respectively. Following international standards and regulations. Results: Digital technologies can help with safety prevention, inspection, monitoring, and training from the design phase to the operation and management. The integration of the digital tools in a standardised manner could ease the adoption of the framework. The owner will gain more control over the safety aspects of the project, identify specific tasks for each stakeholder, and involve safety measures from the beginning of the project. Conclusion: limitations are found in implementing new tools since every tool represents a standalone solution. The digital tools are not involved in the standards and regulations. Workers and safety professionals lack the experience of using such tools, low demand from the owners, incompatibility of software and data format exchange, especially between different appointed parties, and the time spent preparing the BIM model.
