1) ชัยคฺ ซัยนฺ อัลอาบิดีน เบ็น.มุฮัมมัด อัลฟะฏอนีย์ มีชื่อเต็มว่า..ชัยคฺ ซัยนฺ อัลอาบิดีน เบ็น.มุฮัมมัด.เบ็น.มุฮัมมัดดะฮฺฮาน เบ็น ชัยคฺ วันชัมสุดดีน เบ็น ชัยคฺ ญะอฺฟัร อัลฟะฏอนีย์ ซึ่งเป็นที่รู้จักในนามต่วนมีนาล ท่านเกิด ณ หมู่บ้านกรือเซะและเสียชีวิต ณ นครมักกะฮ์ตามทัศนะของต่วนฆูรู ฮัจญียูสุฟ อัลบันดารีย์ที่เป็นเหลนของท่าน ต่วนมีนาลเป็นหนึ่งในบรรดาอุละมาอ์ปัตตานีที่มีความรู้ ความเชี่ยวชาญวิทยาการอิสลาม มีความสามารถในการถ่ายทอดวิชาความรู้และแต่งหนังสือด้านฮะดีษ อะกีดะฮ์ ฟิกฮฺ ตะเศาะวุฟและสาธารณะสุข ซึ่งเป็นหนังสือที่มีความสำคัญยิ่งต่อการพัฒนาสังคมมุสลิมในท้องถิ่นและสังคมมลายูมุสลิม
2) หนังสืออะกีดะฮ์ อันนาญีน ฟี อิลมฺ อุศูล อัดดีนโดยชัยคฺต่วนมีนาล เป็นหนังสืองานแปลและอธิบายเชิงพรรณนาต่อมะตันหนังสืออุมมุ อัลบะรอฮีน มีส่วนประกอบที่สำคัญคือ คำนำ เนื้อหา และบทส่งท้าย เป็นหนังสือที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับวิชาอะกีดะฮ์หรือหลักการศรัทธาเป็นหลัก สามารถแยกออกเป็น 4 ส่วนคือ แนะนำวิชาอุศูลุดดีน เป็นความนำเกี่ยวกับความรู้ที่สัมพันธ์กับ อะกีดะฮ์ อธิบายอะกีดะฮ์ และผลสัมฤทธิ์ของการยึดมั่นตามอะกีดะฮ์ของผู้ประสบความสำเร็จ เป็นหนังสือที่ยึดหลักฐานจากอัลกุรอาน อัลฮะดีษ อัลอิจญ์มาอฺและหลักการตัรญีฮ
3) เนื้อหาหนังสืออะกีดะฮ์ อันนาญีนเน้นการอธิบายอะกีดะฮ์ เช่น อะกีดะฮ์อีมานโดยอธิบายรุก่นอีมาน 6 ประการ การศรัทธาต่ออัลลอฮ์ ศรัทธาต่อบรรดาเราะสูลของพระองค์ ศรัทธาต่อบรรดามะลาอิกะฮ์ของพระองค์ ศรัทธาต่อบรรดาคัมภีร์ของพระองค์ ศรัทธาต่อวัน อาคิเราะฮ์ และศรัทธาต่อสิ่งฆออิบต่าง ๆ ที่ถูกกำหนดไว้ให้ศรัทธา กำหนดให้ผู้ปกครองอบรมสั่งสอนบุตรให้รู้จักอัลลอฮ์อย่างหนักแน่น ให้ปฏิบัติตามแนวทางของสะลัฟในการยึดมั่นทั้งอะกีดะฮ์เตาฮีดและอะกีดะฮ์อีมานจะด้วยการพูดหรือการปฏิบัติ อะกีดะฮ์จะสมบูรณ์ได้เมื่อห่างไกลจากบิดอะฮ์ที่ถูกตำหนิและยอมรับอย่างแนวแน่ต่อแนวปฏิบัติตามแนวทางอะฮฺลิสสุนนะฮ์ วัลญะมาอะฮ์โดยยึด อัลกุรอาน อัลฮะดีษ และอิจมาอฺของบรรดาอุละมาอ์ที่มีคุณธรรมจริยธรรมอันดีงามThis research aims are : to study Sheikh Zain al-Ābidīn Bin Muhammad al-Fataniy’s biography (Tuan Mināl) , to study the Kitāb Aqīdah al-Najīn fi ilm Usūl al-dīn ,and to analyze the content of the Kitāb Aqīdah al-Najīn fi ilm Usūl al-Dīn. The study was collected data by records and interviews, the information was analyzed by using historical approach, Ulumul Quran principle, Ulumul Hadīth principle, Usuluddīn principle, and Tarjīh principle. The result of the research found that:
1) The full name of Sheikh Zain al-Ābidīn Bin Muhammad al-Fataniy is Sheikh Zain al-Ābidīn Bin Muhammad Bin Muhammaddahhan Bin Sheikh Ja’far al-Fataniy, known as Tuan Mināl. He was born in Krue-Seh village and passed away in Makkah, from Tuan Guru Haji Yūsuf al-Bandariy’s point of view, which is his great-grandchild. Tuan Mināl is one of Ulamā‘ in Pattani which has knowledge, expert in Islamic principle. He has height capability and skillfully in distribution of knowledge and wrote the books of Hadith, Aqidah, Fiqh, Tasauwuf and Public health that being significant book sources for local Muslim and Malay social development
2) The Kitāb Aqīdah al-Najīn fi ilm Usūl al-Dīn, written by Tuan Mināl, was a translation and descriptive book from Matan Ummul Barahin book, that consists preface, content and postscript. Its content was mainly about Aqīdah and Articles of Faith. And it can be separated into 4 parts; introduction to Usuluddin, knowledge connected with Aqīdah, Description Aqīdah and achievement of having faith in Aqīdah of successful people. The book adhered to al-Qurān, al-Hadīth, al-Ijmā‘ and Tarjīh principle.
3) The content of the Kitāb Aqīdah al-Najīn emphasized in describing Aqīdah. For example,AqīdahImān by describing Six Articles of Faith, belief in Allāh, belief in the angles, belief in the prophets, belief in revelations of Allāh, belief in the last day of judgment and the hereafter, and belief in predestination. It is defined to believe, for parents to educate their children to know Allāh, to follow Salaf’s path in holding firm both AqīdahTauhīd and AqīdahImaan (speaking or practice). Aqīdah will be perfect when being far from Bid’ah and accept firm in Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama‘ah regulation that abides by al-Qurān, al-Hadīth and Ijmā‘ of virtue and morality Ulamā’
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
