IMPLEMENTASI MODEL MASTERY LEARNING PADA MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN MAHASISWA
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun multimedia pembelajaran menggunakan model mastery learning berbasis adventure game pada mata kuliah Algoritma dan Pemrograman I serta memperoleh respon dari mahasiswa terhadap multimedia tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai solusi minimnya media pembelajaran interaktif bagi mahasiswa yang membutuhkan visualisasi nyata cara kerja algoritma sehingga diharapkan bisa membantu mahasiswa untuk memahami mata kuliah Algoritma dan Pemrograman I. Tahap pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game terdiri dari tahap analisis dan pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan perangkat lunak, implementasi, dan penilaian. Setelah melakukan pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game, diperoleh penilaian mahasiswa dan validasi ahli untuk kelayakan dalam menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game. Data penelitian multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game didapatkan dari angket dan wawancara kepada dosen dan mahasiswa Ilmu Komputer UPI, angket validasi ahli terdiri dari validasi ahli media dan materi yang diberikan kepada dosen, dan angket penilaian mahasiswa terhadap multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil: 1) penilaian ahli media atas multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game adalah sebesar 90,33% dan dikategorikan sangat baik dan ahli materi atas multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game adalah sebesar 73,75% dan dikategorikan baik, 2) mahasiswa memberikan respon positif mengenai multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game dapat disimpulkan multimedia ini dapat memberikan dampak pada pemahaman mahasiswa dilihat dari adanya peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari dosen dibandingkan dengan nilai evaluasi akhir multimedia. Kelompok Atas mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,66% yang memiliki kategori sedang, Kelompok Sedang sebesar 7,16% yang memiliki kategori tinggi, dan Kelompok Bawah sebesar 17,66% yang memiliki kategori tinggi.

The research’s purpose is to design and develop multimedia learning with mastery learning model base on adventure game to Algorithm and Programming I subject and get response from student about the multimedia.. The Research is done as a solution to the minim amount of interactive multimedia learning to student which provide realistic visualization of how an algorithm work so that can help student to comprehend Algorithm and Programming I subject. The development phase of multimedia learning base on adventure game consist of analysis phase and collecting data, design, software development, implementation, and evaluation. After development phase have been done, student judgment and expert feasibility validation is collected. Multimedia base on adventure game research data is collected from questionnaire and interview to lecturer and computer science UPI students, expert validation questionnaire consist of material given by lecturer and multimedia students judgment to multimedia learning base on adventure game questionnaire. From this research, we got result list as below : 1) Media expert judgement to multimedia learning base on adventure game is 90,33% and categorize as very good and material expert judgment to multimedia learning base on adventure game is 73,75% and categorize as good, 2) Student give positive response about multimedia learning base on adventure game and conclude that this multimedia can give an effect to student comprehension, proved by greater mean score from lecturer than final evaluation score from multimedia. Top group got 0,66% improvement categorize as medium, Medium group got 7,16% improvement categorize as high, and Low group got 17,66% improvement categorize as high.

IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PEDULI SOSIAL PADA MASYARAKAT PLURALISME DI CIGUGUR KUNINGAN
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli sosial di masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis yang mengambil setting masyarakat pluralisme di Cigugur Kuningan. Subjek penelitiannya adalah perwakilan masyarakat yang beragama Islam, Katolik, dan ADS (Agama Djawa Sunda). Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode penanaman karakter peduli sosial di lingkungan masyarakat Cigugur Kuningan adalah melalui keteladanan dan pembiasaan. Keteladanan karakter peduli sosial melalui pemuka agama Islam, Katolik, dan ADS. Sedangkan pembiasaan karakter peduli sosial melalui kegiatan-kegiatan di masyarakat yaitu gotong royong membangun tempat ibadah dan rumah warga, pembuatan jalan dan parit, serta saling membantu saat ada warga masyarakat yang terkena musibah
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
