Pengaturan ruang tumbuh berpeluang meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman.

Search for resonances decaying into photon pairs in 139 fb−1 of pp collisions at s=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Indexación: Scopus.Searches for new resonances in the diphoton final state, with spin 0 as predicted by theories with an extended Higgs sector and with spin 2 using a warped extra-dimension benchmark model, are presented using 139 fb−1 of s=13 TeV pp collision data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. No significant deviation from the Standard Model is observed and upper limits are placed on the production cross-section times branching ratio to two photons as a function of the resonance mass. © 2021 The Author(s)https://www-sciencedirect-com.recursosbiblioteca.unab.cl/science/article/pii/S0370269321005918?via%3Dihu

Search for dark matter in events with missing transverse momentum and a Higgs boson decaying into two photons in pp collisions at √s = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

    No full text
Indexación: Scopus.A search for dark-matter particles in events with large missing transverse momentum and a Higgs boson candidate decaying into two photons is reported. The search uses 139 fb−1 of proton-proton collision data collected at s = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the CERN LHC between 2015 and 2018. No significant excess of events over the Standard Model predictions is observed. The results are interpreted by extracting limits on three simplified models that include either vector or pseudoscalar mediators and predict a final state with a pair of dark-matter candidates and a Higgs boson decaying into two photons. Search for dark matter produced in association with a single top quark in √s=13 TeV pp collisions with the ATLAS detector

    No full text
Indexación: Scopus. This paper presents a search for dark matter in the context of a two-Higgs-doublet model together with an additional pseudoscalar mediator, a, which decays into the dark-matter particles. Processes where the pseudoscalar mediator is produced in association with a single top quark in the 2HDM+a model are explored for the first time at the LHC. Several final states which include either one or two charged leptons (electrons or muons) and a significant amount of missing transverse momentum are considered. The analysis is based on proton–proton collision data collected with the ATLAS experiment at s=13 TeV during LHC Run 2 (2015–2018), corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb - 1. No significant excess above the Standard Model predictions is found. The results are expressed as 95% confidence-level limits on the parameters of the signal models considered. © 2021, The Author(s).https://link-springer-com.recursosbiblioteca.unab.cl/article/10.1140/epjc/s10052-021-09566-

© 2020, The Author(s). Single top-quark production in association with a Z boson, where the Z boson decays to a pair of charged leptons, is measured in the trilepton channel. The proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS experiment from 2015 to 2018 at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV are used, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb−1. Events containing three isolated charged leptons (electrons or muons) and two or three jets, one of which is identified as containing a b-hadron, are selected. The main backgrounds are from tt¯ Z and diboson production. Neural networks are used to improve the background rejection and extract the signal. The measured cross-section for tℓ+ℓ−q production, including non-resonant dilepton pairs with mℓ+ℓ−> 30 GeV, is 97 ± 13 (stat.) ± 7 (syst.) fb, consistent with the Standard Model prediction. Measurement of the production cross section of pairs of isolated photons in pp collisions at 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Indexación: Scopus.A measurement of prompt photon-pair production in proton-proton collisions at s = 13 TeV is presented. The data were recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC with an integrated luminosity of 139 fb−1. Events with two photons in the well-instrumented region of the detector are selected. The photons are required to be isolated and have a transverse momentum of pT,γ1(2)> 40 (30) GeV for the leading (sub-leading) photon. The differential cross sections as functions of several observables for the diphoton system are measured and compared with theoretical predictions from state-of-the-art Monte Carlo and fixed-order calculations. The QCD predictions from next-to-next-to-leading-order calculations and multi-leg merged calculations are able to describe the measured integrated and differential cross sections within uncertainties, whereas lower-order calculations show significant deviations, demonstrating that higher-order perturbative QCD corrections are crucial for this process. The resummed predictions with parton showers additionally provide an excellent description of the low transverse-momentum regime of the diphoton system. Search for exotic decays of the Higgs boson into b b¯ and missing transverse momentum in pp collisions at √s = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

    No full text
Indexación: Scopus.A search for the exotic decay of the Higgs boson (H) into a bb¯ resonance plus missing transverse momentum is described. The search is performed with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider using 139 fb−1 of pp collisions at s = 13 TeV. The search targets events from ZH production in an NMSSM scenario where H → χ~20χ~10, with χ~20→aχ~10, where a is a light pseudoscalar Higgs boson and χ~1,20 are the two lightest neutralinos. The decay of the a boson into a pair of b-quarks results in a peak in the dijet invariant mass distribution. The final-state signature consists of two leptons, two or more jets, at least one of which is identified as originating from a b-quark, and missing transverse momentum. Observations are consistent with Standard Model expectations and upper limits are set on the product of cross section times branching ratio for a three-dimensional scan of the masses of the χ~20, χ~10 and a boson.
