SEL in the digital age: the impact of technologies on socio-emotional education.
Get PDFopenL’impatto delle tecnologie sull’apprendimento socio-emotivo (SEL) sta diventando un tema sempre
più rilevante all’interno della letteratura scientifica. Questo studio si pone l’obiettivo di esaminare il
modo in cui le nuove tecnologie influenzino il SEL, concentrandosi su articoli pubblicati
prettamente in inglese e italiano, a partire dal XXI secolo. I criteri di inclusione
comprendono studi empirici e teorici acquisiti tramite le banche dati: PsycINFO, Galileo Discovery
e Google Scholar. I risultati mostrano che le tecnologie, se ben assimilate, possono migliorare
l’efficacia dei programmi SEL, facilitando dunque lo sviluppo di determinate competenze, come le
abilità relazionali, l’autoconsapevolezza, l’autogestione e il processo decisionale. Tuttavia,
emergono alcune criticità, come la necessità di formazioni adeguate per gli insegnanti e
l’importanza di limitare l’uso delle tecnologie, per evitare di incorrere in dipendenze o isolamento
sociale. Possiamo pertanto concludere affermando che un utilizzo adeguato delle tecnologie può
offrire rilevanti benefici all’interno del SEL, ma risulta fondamentale ridurre i potenziali rischi
associati
